it's sad to have a $3 million house and no privacy. My goodness why not buy a double lot and actually make it look nice. Sadly most new areas in Edmonton houses are just crammed together, makes you feel like flying a discount carrier economy class.
I count 45 solar panels, which gives you approximately an 16-18kW system. Which ideally would have been larger to meet all the energy needs of the home. I suspect that it is heated with gas. This home is full of gas appliances - two outdoor fireplace, two BBQs, a gas range, and a indoor gas fireplace. I would hardly consider it "the solar house" - it is just a big house with some solar on it. Finally, the valuation of this home (7559 May Common NW) is at best $1.75 Million. It's a nice home, but this video is overselling it by a lot. You should be proud, but also honest.

Look at these Edmonton houses. Plenty of available land but look at their lots size. Fire department already warn of fire hazards due to close approximate but greed prevail.
