    Question Luke??
Does filling the pot with new bait and then putting the pot in the hot water to clean the pot, wash out the new baits oils and smell? Maybe and 10 pot test , with pots baited before and after the pot cleaning. lol don’t waste your time it was just a question. Love your content, keep winning the day!!

My family and I ordered your steamed and seasoned crabs a couple of weeks ago and they were a huge hit! We've never had fresh crab right off the boat before and the difference in taste from the frozen we get in Colorado is noticeably so much better.

Started at 8 years old but south of Maine. you are the idle guy who keeps something going even at its wild weird low profit times. Love your videos and the Knowles channel lobstering in Maine . I know exactly where you really in your profession. I really wish more young guys would get

You put fresh bait in the pots and then cook the traps? We do it opposite up here in Maine. We cook the trap and then put the bait in so it doesn't cook the bait. But maybe the semi cooked shrimp heads fish as good.

Luke, I am kinda wondering why you have AJ refill the bait holder with shrimp heads *B4* you place the trap into the hot-water rinse tank. Doesn't this kind of rinse the flavor (meat, scents and any leftover shrimp meat) OUT of the bait basket before you reset (drop) the crabpot?? Although it might rearrange the very efficient process you have, personally I would think that it would be better to put the bait (shrimp heads) into the crabpot AFTER you have rinsed the pot in the hot water. Just sayin'.......😮😮🤔🤔🤔🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄😬😬😬😬😬😛😛😛😜🤪😜🤪😜🤪😜🤪🤪🤔🤔🤔🤔😬🤔🙄🙄🙄👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤

Why would you rebait the pot before you clean it? Shouldn't you rebait after it's boiled clean so you don't cook the bait add chemicals to it?

So I'm curious why you bait the pot before you clean it in hot water. Obviously it works for you so I guess the hot water doesn't effect the bait.

Luke when I was in Maine I went up there to help a friend of mine work and rebuild his 45 foot lobster boat for a season we used rock fish heads for bait. Have you ever tried that . And the other bait washer knew a butcher and we used raw beef and pork liver and all 3 or those baits caught very well for lobster would it work for your crabs. Thanks your friend in NC

Can’t you make your low market price crabs into cakes and other frozen products so you can sell during the off season that can make up for when the price drops because of over saturated market?

Luke, need you to do a video on how you get rid of a boat in Maryland and the costs associated. Some people are dumping their boats along highways and burdening the state to dispose.

Does boiling the fresh bait in the bath help with the pot catching the grab? Me not knowing, I would think boiling it would boil the juices out of the bait and not catch as much.

Question on process. Looks like AJ is loading bait then dumping in the boil tank. Doesn’t this cook out the oil of the shrimp heads ?

Why do you Bait the Pot & then clean the Pot? Don’t you lose the Scent of the bait. What if you clean the pot Then bait it? What am I missing?

Looks like those wrestling crabs went to the golden corral and got all locked up there at the soft serve machine. Can you imagine?😂
