    Question Luke??
Does filling the pot with new bait and then putting the pot in the hot water to clean the pot, wash out the new baits oils and smell? Maybe and 10 pot test , with pots baited before and after the pot cleaning. lol don’t waste your time it was just a question. Love your content, keep winning the day!!

My family and I ordered your steamed and seasoned crabs a couple of weeks ago and they were a huge hit! We've never had fresh crab right off the boat before and the difference in taste from the frozen we get in Colorado is noticeably so much better.
We all send our thanks and blessings and hope your new boat gets fixed soon. Thank you for all of your hard work and we love watching your channel 🙏

Luke, I am kinda wondering why you have AJ refill the bait holder with shrimp heads *B4* you place the trap into the hot-water rinse tank. Doesn't this kind of rinse the flavor (meat, scents and any leftover shrimp meat) OUT of the bait basket before you reset (drop) the crabpot?? Although it might rearrange the very efficient process you have, personally I would think that it would be better to put the bait (shrimp heads) into the crabpot AFTER you have rinsed the pot in the hot water. Just sayin'.......😮😮🤔🤔🤔🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄😬😬😬😬😬😛😛😛😜🤪😜🤪😜🤪😜🤪🤪🤔🤔🤔🤔😬🤔🙄🙄🙄👍👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤

You put fresh bait in the pots and then cook the traps? We do it opposite up here in Maine. We cook the trap and then put the bait in so it doesn't cook the bait. But maybe the semi cooked shrimp heads fish as good.

I was wondering the same thing. Wouldn't it make more sense for the guy getting them out of the hot tub to bait the traps and then stack them? Wouldn't they lose some scent strength in the hot tub?

Just a thought from a non-crabber, wouldnt it be better to bait post dip? the dip would wash some juice of the bait. Or does the dip warm the bait up and make it more smelly? Also, is there any money in selling pre-cooked crabs at the stand? have mini crab rolls for the people waiting in line.

I feel once u put the shrimp head in the trap and soak it in hot water all the shrimp juices and scent will bleed out into the hot water and less sent less crab to detect and so less crabs in each pot.. what u thinks brotha from another mother

I live in Houston Mississippi we farm a lot of sweet potatoes actually Vardaman Mississippi is the sweet potato capital of the world …….. it sounds like crabbing and sweet potatoes have a lot in common. You have to grade them just like you do when there’s a lot of them prices are down when there’s a few of them like if you have a bad year drought or something or too much rain you know how it goes. The prices are always up and down. & just like crabbing it cost a lot of money farm sweet potatoes, high dollar tractors high dollar diggers a lot of employee cost …..Tiny ( Len Price ) Houston MS

Question, why do you put the new bait in before you dip the pot in hot water. Wouldn’t it be better to put them in after? Not a crabber wouldn’t know. Might be a good video for your “can it catch” series.
