Heeyy, heard you needed a vietnamese dooby's help so here i am, the rice paper that you mentioned that doesn't need to be softened with water those are the freshly made rice paper kind, thats why they're very soft and pliable bc it has some moisture inside it. The ones that you used in the video isn't actually even rice paper, it's called bánh đa and rice paper is called bánh tráng. The ones that you used (Bánh đa) is for deep frying and can actually be used similarly to rice paper, take one piece out and deep fry it, it will puff up within seconds like prawn chips. By the way rice papers don't need to soften with hot water, any temperature would do, just wet the whole piece and pull it out right away and start assembling, it will soften within 10 seconds. Hopes this helps

Another tip - make sure your cutting board is also a little wet, so the rice paper doesn't stick when you assemble it before rolling

I see the attraction to this channel. Despite the contradictions or misconceptions on certain issues that she had made previously, which are videos that had since been deleted as advised by her viewers, I notice I continue to go back and get drawn into her channel, more so this style of content. Her uniqueness stems from being playful, humoured, and insightful. Like or dislike her, you can’t deny that she knows how to make her content interesting in a way that the usual tasks that you may consider mundane, can also be fun too. I mean, this could just be part of her life that looks positive on screen but still, it’s the simplicity of every day life that makes it great, and this is what I got from this one video. Along with her being engaging with viewers and being an overall quirky person, this is actually very relaxing to watch!
I think she has learned over the years to appreciate her privilege and also just rest in herself more. She doesn’t need to prove herself anymore, but only in terms of new recipes and keeping up with new online humor. I think she is in a really good and stable internet persona right now.
You said it right. She had tried too hard to be relatable to her fans for views before, as if she needed extra validation for her work. With this type of content, she seems to embrace herself as her own person now. Her internet humour or sarcasm is sometimes a hit or miss to me but it doesn’t take away from the fact that she has a personality which shines throughout this whole video. I hope she feels content with being authentic this time.

Her ability to, “stir the pot”, on many issues has been one of her more positive defining qualities. Whether the fallout is negative or positive, the response generates traffic on her channel. Her creativity, engagement, and diverse storytelling in the content she creates stimulates an urge in the subs to frequent her channel. Unfortunately she has suffered criticism at times that has been warranted, but mostly undeserved. But she has always shown professionalism in her response.
From what I recall, during the first days of constructing her restaurant, she got evicted by her landlord for repairing the land without his permission to which she was refusing to leave. She read and showed her lawsuit letter to her fans (written in Korean that can be read by Korean viewers) which proved that she was in the wrong but had depicted the landlord as the “bad guy”. After the “I got evicted” video, many of her viewers advised her to delete the video as the landlord could’ve used it to further sue her in court for defamation. We don’t know what happened later on as it seemed that they had reached some type of agreement that wasn’t disclosed to the fans anymore. So that’s the reason why the videos were no longer available in her channel. It was reuploaded by someone else at one point that is now deleted.

Hi! I'm a Vietnamese dooby from Hanoi. I am so glad to help you with that rice paper problem.
In Vietnam, there are so many types of rice paper. In the video, you are using bánh đa nem ăn sống, which is the Northern style of rice paper used for casual rolls like that. This rice paper contains only rice flour, water, and salt with no tapioca starch. When it is set outside for too long, it will get dried and crispy and then can be easily broken down into small pieces. And yes, you are right. It is not required to be soaked with water before usage. Maybe the quality of those rice papers is not that good, so they just all teared up when you got them out of the bag.
Another type of rice paper that is commonly used overseas is called bánh tráng. This is the Southern style of rice paper. It is thicker than the Northern counterpart, and tapioca starch is usually added to the ingredients. That is why it is chewier when activated with water and more suitable for wrapping pre-made rolls such as summer-spring rolls.

I haven't watched this girl in a while. The last time I watched her, she wasn't speaking to her parents because she was dating the older man she's with now. To see that they are all at a place eating is great to see. Time is short, so we want to be with the ones we love the most while we can.

The ferns only toxic as they mature. The fiddleheads that have not uncurled are very popular all over the world.
I spent 6mo away from my dogs (both have since passed at the age of 15, they were 11 and 8 1/2 at the time). When we were finally reunited, they had a long car ride. My old man (he was a beautiful pit bull) stayed at attention for the entire ride, about 15hrs. He was so tired and sore when he got to me that he seemed to be ignoring me. After an aspirin and Benadryl (covering pain and anxiety), he had to be touching me. His sister slept most of the way, preferring time travel over pain and made sure to let me know she missed me. She also missed the memo of no small dogs and had decided to pick up a little sister (she was supposed to be my mom's, but my mom doesn't like clingy small dogs and I like to have things to carry around).

if the rice paper is bendable without breaking then it’s meant to be used dry. However, depending on your preference, some use cold water because the hot water will make it way too soggy. Hope this helped
