- To open the Disney Parks & Resorts presentation at the 2017 D23 Expo, performers dressed as guests and Cast Members performed a mashup of Go The Distance from Hercules and Seize The Day from Newsies.

When you think about it, the songs actually make sense with regards to who's singing them.
Go the Distance: All the guests who visit the parks around the world do feel in some way that they belong at the parks, and no matter where they are, they will "go the distance" to be there. Whether it's Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, or Shanghai Disneyland, guests will "go the distance" to get to the parks and take in all the magic.
Seize the Day: Cast members, no matter what their role is, be it a maid or butler at the Haunted Mansion, a Jungle Cruise Skipper, or even a monorail driver, go out of their way every day at the parks to "seize the day" by bringing the magic to all guests.

Yes! The song Seize the Day right after Go The Distance is super inspiring and important to the message. Go The Distance is about self Journey and Seize The Day is about how you can use those skills when you are in a group of people who all have a similar goal.
