Poor Debra's voice stands out so much that they gave her only a few seconds in the song, I hope she gets a solo in the show because I think her voice makes a good witch voice!
Knowing Marvel, they probably had them do it “in character” and her character, Ms.Hart, is definitely the least witchy, which is why she’s seemingly doing the least. I bet Marvel told her to cover up herself fully in the robe and nod along
The fact that Debra Jo Rupp is simply vibing and not singing makes sense after watching the second episode of Agatha All Along. I'm somehow thrilled about Sharon Davis' fate along the way. Nonetheless, this song is a total bop. Mysterious yet melodic.

Unfortunately it's only going to end up being one season, but i 100% agree that I'd love more seasons, and to see more of The Coven of Chaos
We might see Agatha and Billy in Vision Quest and maybe Billy in Young Avengers , well he was one in the comics at least ! Fingers crossed it won’t be the last time seeing their characters in the marvel universe
@@eilis1969 Wait, the series that's going to center around Vision is called Vision Quest??
@@rattrapprime8196 Yes I believe so, from my walking encyclopedia of marvel that being my husband 😂
@@eilis1969 LMFAO
I'm OBSESSED. This song, the show, the performances...marvel doing their big one with this one.
In case anyone was unaware, this song (as well as “Agatha All Along”) was written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who wrote the music for Frozen (EDIT: thought I would add that I just found out they also wrote some of the music for Coco!)
ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!! I’ve been telling anyone who will listen that it sounds like the Ice Song at the beginning of Frozen 1!
Frozen Heart! That’s the song title!
@@playground7164 omg, you’re totally right it does sound like Frozen Heart!
Wow, I didn't know that! This is why. I'm glad we have nerds around or people who care about trivia. Thanks for the info!
My favorite thing about this is they're usually billed as Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, but for this she gets top billing! Nice touch.
I love seeing an actor/actress who loves their role and Kathryn Hahn definitely loves playing Agatha🔮💜
At first, I thought Deborah forgot the lyrics, but after watching the first two episodes, it makes perfect sense that she wasn't singing the song till the end! Disney is so good at what they do!!
That old lady bopping the F out of her mind makes more sense in the context of the show.
Also why Aubrey Plaza didn't sing
@@flixchix95 because she doesn't sing the song to open the gate in the show
"That old lady"
"That old lady" is the inimitable Debra Jo Rupp, an icon in her own right
After the final episode …this song just 😢
Episode 2 brought me here! Nice to see Mrs. Hart still staying true to her character 1:01 😁
I know people will be like "oh pointless unnecessary comedy" I'm like dude it's 100% in character for both the character and the actress
@@kinglegaultespecially considering she mentions she hasn’t been to a party since her husband died, so she quite literally was happy to be there haha
When I first saw this I was like…”she ain’t singing, doesn’t she know the words.” After epi2, I understand this.
I was so confused when I first saw this why she seemed so lost. Now it clicks!
Oh no no no, honey. Mrs. Hart was her name when (Wanda) was controlling everybody. Her name is Sharon Davis. Sha-ron! /jk
01:49 Mrs. Harts finally got the song
I'm really glad that people are excited for this show, especially after the first 2 episodes. Those who claimed that nobody asked for this aren't just technically wrong, they're completely missing the mark.
What people? Bored wine aunts who don't watch Marvel?

@@theunknowncommenter725 I'm a diehard MCU fan and I'm watching it
It’s so awesome when you can clearly tell that an actor absolutely adores playing their role. Kathryn Hahn embodies Agatha perfectly and is having a blast while doing it making her performance even better. Can’t wait to see what this coven got in store for us🙂↕️
That laughter was so wicked. Agatha really is a modern day Disney Villain. 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈😈
This def feels like a Disney. Wish it felt more like marvel personally
@@jolightlytoasted maybe this is what Marvel needs lately it feels like it's trying so hard to live up to its name that it feels like nothing will ever reach the levels of the past. Maybe emulating something else instead of generic superheroes doing superhero stuff will be what Marvel needs. Then again I could be wrong.
@@camseki9588 I feel like the Mcu won people over because it made its characters human and they had to step up to be heroic. I agree there are plenty of marvel comic stories they should create that demonstrate humanity more while blending supernatural. This to me feels a little too Disney and just not the marvel I’ve known as a reader/fan for 20+ years. I hope I am wrong and understand everyone enjoys different things
I cannot wait until this song drops somewhere. It's been on repeat since D23
The way their vocals BLEND in together! I love it
Take my money. You got me.
I’m a SUCKER for epic choir songs as well as villain songs. And this song has it in SPADES!
It's Been Agatha All Along! Kathryn Hahn is having So Much Fun Playing This Character and I'm So Excited to see More of Her! This Show looks Awesome!!!
The way my jaw dropped! The sopranos were soprano-ing and it was mos def cuz of Patty Herself! 🥲soooo so good ! Cant wait for this show!!!!
1:30 its so dam good 😩😩
As an actual 14th plus generation blood witch, I approve this fun show. I enjoyed every little bit, even the more obscure details and the plight of women who have borne the title of “witch”. There was a slight amount of pandering to have fun but mostly to call out the vast mistreatment of a group of people who were basically performing herbal remedies and medicine when there were no such thing as doctors, hospitals or pharmacies. I always enjoyed the “magic” based Marvel characters and I am so happy to see them come to life. ✨✨✨
Ok, I started watching this series because of Kathryn Hahn is in it! I didn't know Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone, and Debra Jo Rupp were cast in the show! My fiancé and I look forward to watching every Wednesday night! I want to buy merch, and I need a season 2, at least 5 seasons! Thank you so much for all the hard work everyone put in this incredible show! I love it!!
also, I didn't even know what Wandavision even was til this series started, I love all these hidden gems with Kathryn Hahn! Cast me!
That cackle.. love it.. can't wait to see what Kathryn has in store to show it was Agatha all along ...
We need lyrics! The Anderson-Lopez team has knocked another one out of the ballpark!
Seekest thou the road
To all that’s foul and fair
Gather sisters fire, water, earth, & air
Darkest hour wake thy power
Earthly & divine
Marching ever forward, neath the wooded shrine
I stray not from the path
I hold death’s hand in mine
Primal night, giveth sight, familiar by thy side.
If sun be gone, we carry on, spirit as our guide
Down, Down, Down the road
Down the Witchesʼ Road
Down down down
Down down
Blood, and tears, and bone
Maiden, mother, crone
The road is wild & wicked
Winding through the wood
Where all that’s wrong is right
And all that’s bad is good
Through many miles of tricks & trials
We’ll wander high & low
Tame your fears, a door appears
The time has come to go
Down down down the road
Down the witches road
Follow me thy friend
To glory at the end

Love how clearly you can hear Patti during the last "down, down down"😂
Sharon is just the same in the series. Just bopping to the beat. I love it!
Now 5th episode of the show and im loving this song! I love the show! The mcu witches lore is just chefs kiss!

Her character turns out to be just a normal elderly woman, snatched by Agatha into her coven by "mistake", to say the least. So they didn't really upgrade her character into witch status. Sorry.
I think the same, I love Patti LuPone
What a powerful spell this songs casts! It is a very catchy tune. I want to send my congratulations to the songwriters and to the group singing it. Well done!
Debra Jo Rupp just nodding against the beat and uncomfortably looking around and just singing the chorus bc that is all her role knows is cracking me up. X-D
They can all sing and know their place in the harmony…beautiful.
Now it all makes sense … in this live version Agatha entered holding nicki, debra or mrs hart vibing and only singing the last line like the show … and rio just standing there like 🧍🏻♀️ cause she isn’t part of what happened in episode 2, the amount of hints and details that was put in this show and performance is C R A Z Y. Thank you marvel and my lovely coven I will miss you all 💜💜
Raise your hand if you'd like to see Kathryn Hahn play The Witch in a production of Into The Woods.
That laugh! If only Margaret Hamilton were still alive. What a Wicked Witch of the West and East they would have made!
Oh, HELL YES!🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
This would be brilliant casting!
Sim Quero
OH MY GOD that's brilliant! She'd be incredible! The witch's comedic lines are perfect for her
I first heard a small clip of the song on twitter, and I thought it was ok, then I saw the trailer and now the full song... I'm hooked, I'll be playing this on repeat!
Even if the song from the 2nd trailer is similar it's not the sale song ! Lyrics are dofferent, I can't wait to watch this 🤌🏼🥹

I deliberately avoided trailers and spoilers. This song in episode 2 was a delightful surprise.
There are times in a persons life where there is a Moment. This is a moment. To pause. To feel connected. To feel spiritual. For some reason this song, this specific cast. This is a real moment in time. Love is the moment. The song the lyrics the women and teen singing… it’s a love song…
LOVE the laughter in the end. Can't WAIT for this song to drop.
0:59 I love how Debra Jo Rupp is also just vibing in this live performance like she does in the show. 😂
After watching the episode now I can understand why she was just vibin 😂
I came here for this comment 😂

Agatha looks amazing 💜
I cannot WAIT to see this. Absolutely amazing cast, and Kathryn Hahn is just perfect in the role.
2:00 imagine that as your alarm in the morning..
The choice of Halloween enjoyers, the second they feel fall air 😂 🍂

Lol
Instead of waking up I'll just sing along and then go back to sleep 😅😅
Grttttt ideaaaa
Don’t you love that witch’s cackle at the end? She is a delight!
You have to watch the show to get it!
Mrs Heart: "Am I supposed to know the song?" Agatha all along: second episode. Now you know, thank me later.
@@Croftice1no one will thank you as this was over a month ago, also teen is Billy, thank me later
I am hooked addicted to this song.
X2
Patti friggin' Lupone belting at the end. Legend.
The fact that Debra Jo Rupp is simply vibing and not singing makes sense after watching the second episode of Agatha All Along. I'm somehow thrilled about Sharon Davis' fate along the way.
Nonetheless, this song is a total bop. Mysterious yet melodic.
Omggg I love Kathryn Hahn so much. So great to see her having fun with Agatha. ❤
I will say this much, I have a CD called Pagansong which features songs performed by Pagan artists (Among the highlights are "The Burning Times" and "We Won't Wait Any Longer.") This song could have easily been inserted into it and I wouldn't have known the difference. The Lopezes clearly did their homework in writing this song and Kathryn Hahn and the cast nailed the performance.
Coming back to this video after watching the final two episodes. Wow, what a coven.
This needs to be reloaded on Spotify as a song
I love how Debra Jo Rupp is just bopping along to the song.
I love that you can see how they’re all in character
