Great video as always guys. Excuse my ignorance but just wondering what would be done for the Throwout bearing in this situation. As your adapter plate utiliises the full CD009 trans rather than a T56 Bellhousing I suppose the OEM Nissan Throwout bearing can be left in place and then the lines for that adapted to your car (in my case an 86/brz)
So that’s the beauty of our system. It’s designed to utilize factory Nissan components for the clutch slave or any upgraded aftermarket slave designed to replace the factory unit. Same goes for clutch disk, pressure plate and even pilot bearing. Yes we will be releasing a clutch master cylinder kit that will bolt up to FRS/BRZ with CD00X
I think this is the best kit for the price and convince of installing, how will the shifter on this set up along with sikky LS motor mounts fit on a S13?
this kit is for getting the trans on the engine. The trans cross member would be chassis specific so depending on what car your putting it in we may have the cross member for that particular vehicle with this trans. Hope that helps!
So I made the plunge last fall purchased in ls junkyard engine Faul and purchased a junkyard ls only to spend 1600 getting my head's done at Texas speed. I bought the sikky Adapter and so far the quality is great but I'm wondering just how much power I can run through this transmission before I run into issues. I don't drag race I'm a strictly road course kind of person with an approximate horsepower goal of 425 rear wheel in a vehicle with a weight of approximately 2860 lbs w/0 driver
You shouldn't have any problems at that power level. There are several 700 hp+ 2jzgte cars running cd009. Most people swapping probably blowing their diff out before the trans. Lol
Anyone know how it feels compared to a T56? I have a LS1 swapped 350z with a T56 and I hate how notchy it feels. I have a 93 300zx I’ll be 5.3 swapping and I don’t think I want another T56, always preferred the feel of Japanese manuals

Random question... Would you recommend buying a cd09 with like 250k miles, or is that just a hard pass every time? I'm looking at one on eBay, which supposedly has zero issues, but I'm sceptical because of the milage.
Has anybody gone from a T-56 to a CD09 on LS swap 240SX S-13 with a wiring specialties harness? I'm not happy with the way my T-56 shifts and am contemplating swapping it out for the CD09 at some point.
What didn’t you like about it? I’m having the debate of going t56 magnum be a cd009. For the price of the magnum, I can pick up a brand new cd00a and the adapter. My current cd009 has 168k on it so would make since to throw a new one in with a nice new motor going in it.

Will this adapter work with the 5 speed auto? I can modify the flexplate thats not an issue
Sweet! And your prices are reasonable too!
Especially when considering MADE IN USA high quality! thanks

So with this adapter I don’t need to cut my cd009 bell housing ? How’s the figment on a 240sx with a cd009?
Correct! One of the best parts about the kit! Fitment is very good
Hi? I'm from Mexico City, there will be a kit for old 302 ford ? Can you put the link where I can buy it? Thanks

Yeah it’s definitely smoother than the t56. Problem is it’s not as strong but should be more than enough to handle 5.3 power.
Can you run any jkxxx model trans or will they all work with just the modification?
will you need to be beating in your s13 trans tunnel with this kit as well as mounts?
yes the s13 trans tunnel definitely needs some massaging with a hammer. No cutting needed
do you give any discounts for this set up ? for anyone thats willing to rep the brand and advertise the build

Sir, are there any plans to offer an adapter for the Ford Windsor engine??
My 66 Mustang could use some love......lol
No, sorry

Definitely a hard pass with that kind of mileage. Aim for something around 100k miles or less
Do they make one for automatic trans
no we don't
If this is used in conjunction with your mount kit in a 350z will it require a relocated shifter? Thanks!
Yes, due to the engine placement there is no way to use the factory shifter

Does this kit work with the 5.3 iron block?
see applications list here www.sikky.com/cd00x-adapter-plate-compatibility/
Are there any benefits of a CD009 over a t56?
It's cheaper
If you have a t56 already no. T56 is a stronger trans. If you already have a CD00X trans then go for it!
@@SikkyTV is it possible to get rev matching from a 370z transmission working in a swap scenario?
Do y’all have adapter plates to mount a CD009 to a RB30 block?
Not at this time
whats with the imperial fasteners???
Because America.
@@SikkyTV so sad
Would this kit work on a New school SC block?
what exactly is a new school short block? Gen 4 and 5 chevy small block "LS" engines
@@SikkyTV 86 and up small block
Is this for auto trans ?
no, 6 speed trans only
Need to do a 370z plz.
For the adapter or actual LS swap build? This guide for the adapter covers the 370z
So can I use this on a s13 and where would my shifter be at?
What clutch works with this adapter
Basically any clutch meant for a 350z. Except for twin discs since they will come with a flywheel.
@@SikkyTV thank you appreciate the info

8:43 DEFINITELY DONT TORQUE TO 52 FT LBS........BROKE 2 BOLTS OFF!!!! 25 ft lbs is stock pressure plate
rip
My buddy has ruined 2 flywheels now because of this. 2!!!!!
I was able to save my flywheel by welding small tachs to the broken bolt until I could grab it with channel locks
"M10x1.5" long" ???
M10 x 1.5 is the “thread pitch” not length

My GF put this in her spank bank 19:24
Do they make one for automatic trans
No manual only
