My now fiancé brought up me getting dentures when I had been trying to figure out how to bring up the fact that I’d been saving for that procedure. I didn’t realize how hard it was for him to watch me be in severe pain every time we ate at a restaurant we wanted to go to. I winced sometimes w/o even realizing it from biting on most foods. I was eating room temperature soup most of the time because it hurt to eat. It wasn’t any life to live. I got my dentures almost two years ago now and it was the best choice for me and we have enjoyed helping me find new favorite foods. We bonded and our relationship has flourished since I decided to just get the dentures and stop overthinking it. Thank you for this channel. It is wonderful hearing someone talk about this subject.
Did you need them when you met? Did you have broken teeth then? I feel so nervous about that part now and holding myself back in that way before going through the process whilst building funds.
@@unnamed2737 , could be a number of things. Economic issues are a major factor when one sees how expensive dental work can be. Depression issues, and the list could go on.
I hope you're fully aware of how many people you are helping with these videos. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge and being so compassionate. I'm impressed.
I think dating/intimacy is so intimidating because when I hear guys asked about what they are looking for, so often they state something along the lines of “…good teeth”. Cuts thru me like a knife. 🙄
I had someone I thought was a friend tell me I wpuld never date anyone with tooth issues because it's nasty and they never have the money to fix them. It broke my heart a bit and it stuck with me for years
I had a good cry today and asked my husband if he is still gonna love me without teeth. He laughed at me, gave me a kiss, and carried on like nothing was said.
Came back to this video for advice because of a guy I like. I told him from the beginning I had dentures and he said that it didn't bother him at all. Come to think of it, no one I've dated seemed to care about the fact that I wear fake teeth. Like she said, if they have a problem with it then they aren't for you! I know it hurts in the beginning because you really liked them, but just be honest from the start. We got this guys, we deserve love too no matter if our teeth are real or fake.
Best video ever. As a guy who is newly divorced and single, Im freaking out and worried about dating, like, EVER again. My teeth have never been great, but Ive always been told I was attractive and never had a problem getting a date. Still. In 5 days I go for my initial appointment. Im scared. I absolutely need full extractions and dentures. Kissing, intimacy and sex with dentures has definitely been on my mind....Thank you for your content. It helps. At least has for me. Wish me luck!
Hi John. My husband's name was John too. He passed away from Covid in 2020. Since then, I haven't dated anyone. The grieving process has proven to be even more difficult than I anticipated. I miss him so much. Anyway, I need to move on with my life and start socializing again, but I'm scared to death of dating because of my teeth, or the lack thereof. Like you, I've always had bad teeth, but I was still attractive. I put off removing the few remaining top teeth I had for years. I was comfortable with it because I knew my husband loved me no matter what. But since he died, my confidence has gone downhill. I'm scared that no one will like me because of my dental issues. All of my top teeth were removed in February, and I'm waiting for my top dentures, which should be here within the next week or so. I sometimes feel insecure about my looks, but then there are other days when I feel fabulous and beautiful. I'm 47, and I'm told I look way younger than my actual age. I'm flattered by the compliments, but I hide my smile by wearing a mask when I'm out in public. I'm celibate right now, but I'm open to having fun and/or finding love in the future. But people are so shallow. If you're not a perfect 10, they will shun you for not being the ideal woman and standard of beauty that society thinks you should be. I want to have intimacy and sex someday, too. But I have a lot of trauma, emotional baggage and insecurities that I have to address and heal from before I get involved with someone. Anyway, enough about me. I know I'm 5 months late, but I'm curious to know.....how is your dental journey coming along?

Omg KRISTI. This is such a topic that everybody wants to know before getting dentures! But nobody wants to talk about it! Thank you so much for putting your fears aside and bringing light to the subject! 🦷 🪥🔩❤️
Thanks everyone for watching this live with me! It was fun chatting with you all! Our friend, Captain, from England, is in a dark place about his teeth, as many of us were at one point. Please give him some encouragement by responding to this comment!
JUST got my first set of partial dentures TWO days ago - and this was the first and foremost thing on my mind. NOT KIDDING! The Universe heard me and sent me your video. THANK YOU ! ! !
When I was told in January 2021 that I was going to lose my front teeth, I was HORRIFIED. Just embarrassed, ashamed, defeated. I immediately looked for support online. You were the first person I saw on here. You made me feel so much better, and helped me accept and come to terms with what was going on. I could go on and ON about my whole process lol. I'm turning 27 on March 9th, and on the 18th (one month countdown!) I finally will have my extractions and get a partial denture. I'm terrified, but also SO READY to be able to eat better, be in no pain, and gain my confidence back. I've been blessed with a very amazing and understanding boyfriend, he's been with me for this whole ride. He's seen me and my broken teeth and he's like "you are beautiful. i love you with or without teeth" and I'm just like... I lucked out! I've always been very open about my struggles with him and he gives no judgment. However... he's also curious about how.. it... will feel lmao. Aaaanyway lol, I'm so happy that your uploading more videos again!! Shining light on the subject of dentures is SO important. There is such a stigma surrounding them (aka young people with dentures/partials/etc) More people being aware of this stuff, I feel and would hope, would bring on a more understanding and empathetic world.
erika fawn hi! Just reading your comment and you remind me soooo much of myself! At 28 I had all mine pulled after thousands of wasted $$$ on bridges, root canals etc. And it was devastating to think of but after I saw how much better I looked and felt AND I could eat, I felt so much better. Now at 53 I've finally reached a point in life that I can get implants but honestly, I did very well all these years but now with bone loss I've decided to go this route because they're so ill fitting. I hope you're doing great !! Thank you for sharing your story 🥰
Did you need them when you met? Did you have broken teeth then? I feel so nervous about that part now and holding myself back in that way before going through the process whilst building funds.
That was my problem for years. Didn't date because who'd want to date someone with like a dozen teeth? Can't wait to get my dentures in next couple of months.@@Ozziehoffy
I had a date compliment my teeth and I blurted out they are fake. He said oh. I then explained how painful and awful my teeth were. It wasn’t a big deal. We ended up dating for 2.5 years but… I never took my teeth out in front of him,
This is encouraging! I get compliments very often on my teeth and when I tell them they’re fake they’re just mind blown. I even had a dentist last year that asked for permission to ogle over them because even he found it hard to believe they weren’t real. Good for you for being straight up about it! It oozes confidence and security!
These are such important and deeply personal issues. It is really great of you being brave enough to talk about teeth issues with such candor. My mother had her teeth removed in her 20s. While growing up I can’t remember a single instance of her telling me to brush my teeth. My teeth journey has been long and seldom fun. Here I am now with only two points in my mouth that have opposing teeth with which to chew. So I am trying to navigate what’s next - and of course I’m trying to determine what’s next and how to afford whatever that might be. Thank you so much for the great information. And thank you for your courage in talking about such personal things publicly!
Great video. Busted out laughing a couple of times. I’m a dentist. I think you’re doing a great service with your videos. It’s also nice to be reminded that for some people what we provide can really enhance their quality of life.
I only have partials but i really wish i had the money to get implants. Though i am sure how painful that is. Lots of experience with pain. But yes, better to have dentures/partials than a hole in your jaw. Looks better too.
@@yester64 Not everyone can get implants, not just the cost but bone density, surgery etc Dentures have come such a long way, if you can get a good technician.
I have no idea how I came upon your videos. I don't have dentures. But I couldn't help but watch. I just want to tell you that what you're doing to help and empower people is amazing!
I'm so glad to have found your channel! I got my full upper denture about three months ago. I've been avoiding kissing my husband and other intimate oral activities.... because I'm afraid it will feel weird to him or even hurt him. After watching this I realize that I simply need to talk to him about it and it doesn't have to be a loss of that part of our intimacy. I feel a sense of confidence that I haven't had since getting dentures. Thank you so much!!!
I just had all my upper teeth pulled and got my top denture going on week 3 and idk if it's just me I mean I know my wife knows I'm still sore cause of seeing me still barely biting foods and still taking antibiotics, but I just feel like she doesn't want to kiss me anymore, I mean I'm very very self conscious about this cause it was supposed to be a life changing thing for me to getting dentures you know at 35, I wanted to smile again and take decent pictures with my growing kids and my wife, but idk like I said I may just be over thinking it but I really don't know what to think at this point, we've been married since we were 17 and 18 and now 35 and 36, you'd think there wouldn't be anything like this but it almost feels like this whole process has changed my whole personality in a way. What do I do, or say?
@@CoalMiner379 I think you need to sit down with your wife and come right out and ask if it makes her uncomfortable. It may just be you that feels that way and she may be giving you time to heal. I never took mine out in front of my husband or anyone in my family, but it never bothered him because what I had before was terrible and was always in pain.
Oh my god. Thank you!!! I’m needing to get dentures and I’m freaked out!! I’m more scared of getting them taken out and having no face. The fact you have approached this subject means you’re pretty fine in discussing it all, and I appreciate your openness, bravery, and help! I can’t tell you how much that means! (I got tears happening over here!) 😎
I got dentures at 38 and 2 yrs out of a relationship ready to date but so nervous 🫦 thinking I could never tell anyone I dated etc but to my surprise EVERY guy that I told could CARE LESS there was one who said he wasn't bothered but obv he was but that's okay bc he was a no-go Mama's boy anyway. One guy I told and he was like ME TOO 😂😂😂
Sooooo needed to here this right now. Just got my first upper set fitted today…. Not a happy camper! Lol. AND I’m single, and worried about dating, love your attitude ,you rock
Severe dental phobia kept me romantic going to the dentist for years. Even though I'm 51, I feel so embarrassed when I had a partial. My dating g life just stalled because I was so self conscious. Now I'm on to full dentures after having all my teeth extracted today. I'm so glad I found your content. It is very helpful.
I have reached the point where I need to get dentures and I started watching your videos because you and I look VERY similar, so it’s as if I get to see the end results on an aesthetic level. I sure appreciate all of the info, specific topics, and scenarios you touch on. Thanks so much for taking some of the guesswork and anxiety out of the picture.
I have had dental problems, bridges, dentures from a young age. (38). 1 am now (48). I was scared as I always connected dentures with old people. But it was you that helped me through it. You gave me the confidence I needed. Watching you lead to other links and other young people with my problem. I was so relieved to see I was not alone. Your tutorials have been a god send, I love you (I mean that in an innocent manner, as light at the end of the tunnel). Thank you so much. ❤️
Kristi, what would we do without you? Thank you so much for this, and all your other videos. Frank, helpful, funny, unapologetic: You're an inspiration!
I asked my husband what he thought about me getting dentures and he told me he doesn't care about my physical appearance like that because i will be healthier above all.
Thank you for this video. You covered allot of issues I had questions about since I recently acquired my new smile at 63 and re-entering the dating world. My late wife had them and it made no difference to me. I loved her with her real teeth, with her dentures and even without her dentures. You're 100% right if someone doesn't want to date you because you have dentures, it's their lost. I'm the same loving, caring guy with teeth or with dentures. As for the banana fact I actually asked to try it without for her comfort, two less things to have in the way. Although she was hesitate at first I would notice her removing them from time to time.
Getting all of mine taken out today, and your videos have been absolutely awesome and so helpful and encouraging. Will have temporaries for 8 months, then will probably get implants. Thank you Ms K for all open approach to this often self conscious matter. xxx from New Zealand.
Gotta say.... I ALWAYS wondered about the DSL dip😂 ( on the man ), & could they tell ?... 😮 Your honesty and the WAY you said what you said made it food for thought ... in a good way ❤ You're refreshing for young viewers being in these shoes. Thanks. Truly !!
I’m turning 26 this month and my Eday is on March 2nd. Im getting traditional dentures for now. I really liked watching this video because I’m trying to consume as much info, tips, and tricks for dentures in general. I followed aswell! I look forward to more videos like this.💕
@@Jetsi79 I’m almost 8 weeks post op as of the 3rd of next month and I have an appointment for impressions that day. Okay he 1st week is the hardest in recovery. I opted to go without immediate dentures too. I stay home so it wasn’t that bad. But I’m ready for some choppers. Just a month or two to go
26 here and terrified because I'm most likely going to have at least one tooth (and surely no more than two) root canaled or extracted, I'm not sure which because I haven't seen a dentist yet. 😅 I've been dealing with a reoccurring infection that I'm just barely managing with antibiotics, but thankfully minimal pain, likely because the tooth is slowly dying. Or maybe I'll just be a really lucky case that only needs a root canal and crown, and never deals with this again. 🤣 But if not, a partial denture will suffice. Thank you for mentioning your age (I know you're probably 27 by now ofc), it makes me feel much less alone and ashamed to be dealing with this issue at such a young age!! If it's of any consolation to you, I think you're so beautiful from what I can tell from your profile picture. ☺️🫶
I’m so glad I found you!!!! Seriously I’ve been binge watching your videos they are so helpful I go in 2 days to get all my top teeth pulled and all on 6 done plus bone graf and sinus argumentation and I’m so scared nervous but excited at the same time… and sex was a big question I had since I’m only 29 and thought omg my sex life is going to be over. Thank you for this!!!!
Hey girls, the vast majority of us men do not mind it at all if you have dentures or implants. At the end of the day, natural teeth can never be truly perfect but when you have dentures or implants you do approach that category. Look at Kristi, her teeth are stunning and she is smiling a lot thanks to it. This gives her more confidence and makes her even more attractive than if she was hiding her smile. Honestly, if I met a girl and she had dentures, it would not diminish her attractiveness in my eyes at all. In fact, I would be curious and find it really cool because her new set of teeth allow her to feel better about herself. Kristi is absolutely correct when she says that you should not date someone who thinks less of you for wearing dentures because that person is just not right for you.
My gf of nearing 3 years is with me for me. When I finally decided to full on go through my procedure (this past Thursday 8/3/23), she was excited and supportive. She’s happy for what it’s going to do for me. She even put up with me during the first couple days of recovery and did a few things around my house so I could chill and recover. It’s all about support! Also, the last bit had me cracking me up. 😂
@@kmduarte2005 , all is good one year later. Just had a dentist appointment a couple weeks ago and fortunately, there’s been no shifting of remaining teeth or bone loss. My interim partials still work for me. The doc and I decided that we can wait even longer yet until we start making my permanent appliances. I’ve figured out how to eat pretty much anything I want. Confidence has improved greatly.
Great video! Way to tackle a “taboo” subject! I think it is very helpful especially for those that are not in long term relationships when going thru the denture or implant process.

I had my extractions done today and my dentures put in. I haven't had to think about telling someone I start dating about my dentures yet but, given that I have an artificial eye which I always mention right off the bat I'm sure I'll throw the denture thing in at the same time. I guess I feel like if you can't accept me as I am you are not the person for me! Oddly enough, whenever I have mentioned my eye over the years of dating not one guy has ever had an issue with it...go figure!!
Thank you for this video!!! I’m about to get full mouth extractions and I was self conscious about dentures and how they affect intimacy. I had a bit of anxiety about umm, the oral act after extractions and dentures. You made me feel better about having a conversation with my husband about it.

Hey, Thankyou so much for your great videos, at the ripe age of 47 I had all my teeth out last Friday 04/28/23 and going through the "OMG" stage of "what have I done!" I stumbled across a couple of your posts last night and watching a few more today to get my head round things. My issues are diabetes related and an inherited problem with bone loss in my jaw, its not like I have done this to myself on purpos and getting over the shame of it has taken a bit of time.People have a strange reaction to it and I dont know why, like youre less of a human for having mouth issues and I always get the impression that there is an element of you being slovenly or idle for not brushing or something. CI got my new set of gnashers on Tuesday due to holidays here in the UK so there was a 4 day gap between having the removal and getting my new nibblers so currenty, I'm going through fitting issues but after going again this morning, things are getting better but I'm not out f the woods yet. I have had them in, on and off, for a max of about 4 hours at a time and it's slowly getting better and longer but its not a great transition so I just wanted to say thankyou for restoring my drive and my self esteem through your awesome talks that you give on your channel..........THANKYOU! You're right though it does feel like a couple of hockey pucks in your mouth, a great discription: I referred to it as feeling like Ive got somebody elses teeth in as they feel so weird. I know things will get better and the end result wil be so much easier to live with it just takes time and thats really easy to forget when youre really low and sick of it al going on. Well done and HUGE thankyou again from across the pond, here in the UK. Oh, and just so you know, your yeeth look unbelievable, absolutely gorgeous, well done you. Bestest regards and keep up the inspiring words of wisdom, you dont know just how much you help, but you do..........enormously Big love😊💗
I'm 37. I have a partial for my bottom teeth and.... well, we haven't done the top set yet, but there's maybe going to be 2 or 3 teeth left tops, if they even bother. So... this was definitely on my mind. I'll absolutely be checking out more of your channel for tips because I'm so very new to this and it's just... a bit overwhelming. Honestly, I just want the pain to stop. I use far too much ibuprofen and anbesol. But seriously, thank you. So much.
I just found your channel #kalinjax and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you putting these videos out there. I’m not a denture wearer yet, BUT I know I will be unfortunately. I lost pretty much ALL of my upper teeth to Breastfeeding and I’m so scared of accepting and taking that plunge to accept my dentists suggestion and recommendation to get dentures. It’s a big step for me personally idk why I’m so attached to these basically rotting teeth despite my best efforts. But coming across your channel I feel less alone. I’m young like you, I’m only 32 which I feel so embarrassed that this is really my only option as implants are just way out of my price range here in CA. I’m not making enough to afford that price tag like I’m sure many others are. Anyways I just wanted to say thank you, I know these can be personal insights to your experience but as I said it’s nice not to feel alone in this. Im heart broken at what price I paid but like I said it was to feed my baby girl, I stopped breastfeeding around her turning 3. Thank you again for sharing your journey and tips.
Hello, just came along your video. I'm 32 and need full upper and bottom dentures. I Still cry today. Not because I'm embaress just to know I'm not going to have teeth. From watching this it gives me confidence. I goon the 21 to get all front top extraction and nerves as he'll. Thanks for this video
I have digital dentures they are 100 %..Thank you for you're input on real life situations..you are a smart and well spoken young lady..and without sounding creepy..you are very wise and beautiful inside and out..wish you and your family all the best..DD.
TMI of course, but I’ve been married for 20 years and I recently got all my teeth out and he did say “it” feels different, but not in a bad way. I think what you talked about regarding your “friends” sex life improving because “they” have more confidence is absolutely true 😂❤️
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! You have addressed every concern I have had since considering and getting dentures. I have never subscribed to a channel until now. After reading other comments on your videos, I know that I'm not the exception. Did I remember to say THANK YOU? ❤
My husband's ex wears full denture. He did admit oral sex was exceptionally good without dentures when I pressed on the topic about his past sex life. Its something i can't give him, but hey, for ladies out there who can give your man that, maybe it will be a whole new experience. On a separate note, she is the only young person i know with full denture, im starting to wonder are there some ppl out there hiding it. Its so important to normalize it as human condition, like aging, having white hair etc. Thanks for being an inspiration.
When I had someone, he picked me up from dentist- teeth got in way- then he never wanted to see me with top dentures again. it’s more cons then pros but I got it to eat & confidents again
I was 32 (16 years ago!) when I got dentures. I had a couple of years of dating left in me and YES it horrified me! The worst was when I was serious with someone and we took a weekend vacay. I refused to tell this man I had dentures so I slept in them for 3 nights lol I would go to the bathroom to get ready for bed and take them out, clean them and my mouth and put them right back in with fresh adhesive! When I got up, I'd do the same...Personally, I never had a date figure out I had dentures and I dont think most people will. I mean, its not something they are going to be expecting so unless you want to spill the beans, they are gonna be none the wiser!
I travel with my fixdent bottle. You can actually peel the label off on both sides quite easily. All you’re left with is a white bottle with a red cap. That’s why i like using that brand.
I recently got new dentures and the teeth are too big and too long which wasn't decided by me is there anything I can do to help me like them I'm going in for my third adjustment. When I smile 😁 I see teeth and not me and it depresses me
Off topic - do you feel that having dental implants and dentures negatively effected your face/bone structure at all? You look amazing, seriously. I hear about how having dentures causes bone loss but it doesn’t look like that happened to you.
No because most of my bone loss occurred just from having so much decay. I’m going to post a photo soon of what my ridge looks like. I’ll post it in the community section of my channel.
I waited till 57 to have my tops removed and implants. Still struggling with temp dentures. Still sore and uncomfortable. Libido went out the door for now. Life changing for sure. Have to wait at least 6 months for my implants to heal so these dentures are part of my life for now…like mashed potatoes and oatmeal
Hi, I'm currently in the middle of the same long process of full top implants. It's a very long process,&thank goodness my boyfriend is being patient with me. As for kissing,he wants to,but I'm too embarrassed.(his tongue would be able to feel my prior bare gums/& current outer pieces to second surgical phase of implants, sticking out of gums). I can give him a bj, bc I can use my tongue& lips. I've tried from day one to wear my denture, but, despite the dentist making adjustments, I prefer not to wear it. I know that I'll look younger and have a nice smile when the implant process is complete. I talk clearer@work without my temp denture,&I'm not on the verge of gagging without wearing it,& I hadn't mastered eating with it in yet,&it's not my previous bite! It gives me a major overbite,&it's so wide,&it doesn't meet the few bottom teeth that I have left,so it's much easier to "gum food" with my gums! Besides,I'll have my top implants completed long before I adapt to the temp denture!! When I smile,It's a closed smile,so it's not too bad.😊 At first, I started with protein shakes,& mashed potatoes, & bananas, but I've discovered more foods that I'm able to eat, that taste delicious!😋 & since then, I've gained a total of 11 lbs. between Aug.-now,(currently:April 4th).👍hang in there!!😁👍
OMG when you showed the Wisp Colgate stole that idea from me. Yes i have a patent on a toothbrush. Conversation for another day. Didnt think id ever wear dentures yet alone date someone who does but if i met someone like you id have a hard time saying no. Its been refreshing coming here
I'm getting closer and closer to needing dentures so doing my research now. My heart sank when you talked about spicy foods 😓. I have an appointment tomorrow for yet another broken tooth and pain. have had 4-5 extractions now luckily all in the back but the last xray I had was a 5 or so years ago and the teeth are thinning in the gums so fixing them would be a waste for both me and the dentist honestly since they won't hold long. I'm def nervous and a fellow person with treated anxiety.
My life partner is about to get her teeth entirely removed and get a full set of dentures. I love her to the end of the world. Do you have any tips for me on the best way to support her?
I am not dating at the moment but i think i would put in the profile. To be honest right before you start will sip out any person that has different standards. Just my thinking This is a very useful video. Thanks for making it.
I think if you have dentures and you feel good about your self then you will attract someone and they should support you if they are someone you would want to share life with ❤
Your implants are beautiful! I’ve had my top denture for 6 months now and I hate it!!!! You're beautiful and u are very helpful. Me well I'm 64 and it's hard for me having to get dentures. I wish I could afford to get nice teeth but losing my husband 3 years ago has been very hard. On top of that I was taking for all our money so I had no choice but to sell my new jeep and my wedding rings just to stay afloat. Being on disability and only getting widows benefits I'm barely making ends meet. I do get Medicare but only A& B until I turn 65 in January. I have no friends and even some family members don't talk much to me. Anyway it's like when my husband died everyone died with him

This is truly a blessing to read. Thanks for sharing!
It's horrible I don't know
Did you need them when you met? Did you have broken teeth then? I feel so nervous about that part now and holding myself back in that way before going through the process whilst building funds.
So cruel that one needs to "build up funds" for care you NEED!!!...

I think dating/intimacy is so intimidating because when I hear guys asked about what they are looking for, so often they state something along the lines of “…good teeth”. Cuts thru me like a knife. 🙄
Are they the epitome of fashion, fitness, and health? Probably not. Don’t sweat it! None of us are perfect! ♥️
FAKE TEETH look better than REAL TEETH!!! Lots of Hollywood celebrities have FAKE TEETH and EVERYONE wants to date them!!!
I had someone I thought was a friend tell me I wpuld never date anyone with tooth issues because it's nasty and they never have the money to fix them. It broke my heart a bit and it stuck with me for years
Yeah, these day’s the first thing people say they notice about another Person is their teeth, when I think it should be the Heart!
Men do not learn until they are older: Teeth get in the way. Stay strong and look for men over 35.
I had a good cry today and asked my husband if he is still gonna love me without teeth. He laughed at me, gave me a kiss, and carried on like nothing was said.
He probably couldn't wait 😂❤ mine loves it
Came back to this video for advice because of a guy I like.
When you get used to them and it is an adjustment, you will be fine. Just be patient. !
How did you go, John?

Is French kissing a problem?

I remember dating a guy and I complimented his teeth. He told me they were implants I was still impressed. The most Beautiful smile I’ve Ever seen 😍

My late wife had them and it made no difference to me. I loved her with her real teeth, with her dentures and even without her dentures. You're 100% right if someone doesn't want to date you because you have dentures, it's their lost. I'm the same loving, caring guy with teeth or with dentures.
As for the banana fact I actually asked to try it without for her comfort, two less things to have in the way. Although she was hesitate at first I would notice her removing them from time to time.

@@Caprieye789 , it was very quick and smooth. The worst of recovery was done within a few days. It’s worth it all the way!

That’s actually clever!
You're awesome! Thanks for sharing your experience and your knowledge on this hard to talk about topic.
When I smile,It's a closed smile,so it's not too bad.😊
At first, I started with protein shakes,& mashed potatoes, &
bananas,but I've discovered more foods that I'm able to eat,that taste delicious!😋 & since then, I've gained a total of 11 lbs. between Aug.-now,(currently:April 4th).👍hang in there!!😁👍
OMG when you showed the Wisp Colgate stole that idea from me. Yes i have a patent on a toothbrush. Conversation for another day. Didnt think id ever wear dentures yet alone date someone who does but if i met someone like you id have a hard time saying no.
Its been refreshing coming here
Thank-you for your honesty 😊😊😊
I'm getting closer and closer to needing dentures so doing my research now. My heart sank when you talked about spicy foods 😓. I have an appointment tomorrow for yet another broken tooth and pain. have had 4-5 extractions now luckily all in the back but the last xray I had was a 5 or so years ago and the teeth are thinning in the gums so fixing them would be a waste for both me and the dentist honestly since they won't hold long. I'm def nervous and a fellow person with treated anxiety.
I just got mine 2 days ago i appreciate all your videos
My life partner is about to get her teeth entirely removed and get a full set of dentures. I love her to the end of the world. Do you have any tips for me on the best way to support her?
This is random but what lipstick do you wear? Does it have to be a certain type or brand to not stain your dentures?
Thank you. I am new on this journey and this is a very important part. Thank you.
My fiance and I both have terrible teeth and i am so thankful ironically that he shares my pain
I am not dating at the moment but i think i would put in the profile. To be honest right before you start will sip out any person that has different standards. Just my thinking
This is a very useful video. Thanks for making it.
Thank you. I appreciate your being very direct.
I think if you have dentures and you feel good about your self then you will attract someone and they should support you if they are someone you would want to share life with ❤
Thanks for been so out spoken, good message
Thank you Kirk!
Your implants are beautiful! I’ve had my top denture for 6 months now and I hate it!!!! I’m so trying to save the money to do the implant supported denture… the price for any type of implants are just ridiculous… but I’ve got to do something because this has affected me not only physically but mentally…
Sorry to hear that! Is it the fit that’s bothering you? Have they been able to make any adjustments?
Thanks Kristi again for the tips.😉
These are some really helpful tips thank you for sharing this with us! 👌🏻
Is it only me, i see TWO same videos posted. Thank you for your content ❤
Yikes! Maybe similar to the previous video’s thumbnail that used white and red text in the thumbnail? Thanks for watching!
Oh and how’s it going with you? Do you have an update?
@@kalinjax thank you for asking, I'm going to the ENT and I'll definitely update you on the outcome. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with what I'm experiencing... ❤
@@kalinjax you're welcome!
@14:10 This is the key sentence in this whole video ... True ... For those who can make you feel down because you don't have natural teeth, for sure one day they will lose their own teeth, and sooner or later they will walk the same path as you do ... No one remains young in this life ... Thank you, mam, for these informative videos ... Now I am in the process of using my first movable upper jaw denture ... I am tired of hiding my smile, and it is time to do something about it. 🙂
Done with extractions and soon to learn the truths here, I'm quite sure. Kalinjax keeping it real as always. Thx.
Good luck to you!
Very good video. My HubbyBabe was supportive of me getting dentures. I was so much in pain that he wanted me to in good health. I'm 5 days post op surgical extractions and Immediate Dentures. This is a question that many wanted to know.
OMG😂 that was so cute and funny. I died laughing 😂. Thank you so much for your honesty. I was wondering that about him feeling it lol. Thank you so much for this video. It really helped me a lot ❤
You are so cute ❤
I greatly appreciate your video this has been something ive been curious about
I've stopped dating since I got my dentures. Im terrified he'll feel them in my mouth when we kiss. It's horrible. I feel like such an old lady now. I thought I'd be happier with them, but im not at all, plus they make my mouth look ugly and I don't know what to do.
@@jaymejohnson2375 I'm 57
@@jaymejohnson2375 Implants are my dream. I don't know if medi cal would cover it..it's definitely something I really really need to do
@@jaymejohnson2375 Wow..that's alot of money

I getting my teeth done soon. You are a Great Motivational Speaker and I will be checking in on your channel because you keep my spirits up. Thank you ❤
This made my day. Glad the videos are helpful! We’ve only got one life to live and we’re all just doing the best we can. People who find this to be a problem for them just aren’t your people. You got this!!
