After 8 videos on complex eigenvalues, this is the best one

I can confirm. I spent 45min looking for a solution this is the best.

before finding this video I had contemplated closing my laptop and figuring this topic out later. I am glad I didn't do that. Excellent job.

This is an excellent example of a 2x2 matrix with complex eigenvalues,
even has added pointers and tips my professor failed to mention,
    Thank you for this upload!

sir, what is the trick used to find that eigen vector? and if you used the other row, would you still have the same solution? Thank you sir!

In fact I can find that real and imaginary part of complex solution are two independent real solutions in any textbook or script written in my native language
I would like to see how can i derive it

I really wish that you would say "factor" instead of "bust out" because it isn't clear to someone who is learning this material for the first time and whose first language isn't English.
