    Is it possible for probiotics to make symptoms temporarily worse? I started him on the OptiBac and his reflux seems to have gotten a lot more noticeable. Along with more burps. May be a coincidence. How long would they take to establish and help his reflux?

      It doesn’t happen very often but anything is possible as every baby is different I always think. You could half the dose to 4 drops per day and see. However there are lots of other factors too. Are you formula or breastfeeding?

      I’m breastfeeding. Trying to cut out things from my diet but it seems like every time I read a new article there’s a new trigger added to the list. I’d love to assume dairy is the culprit but we feed him some milk based formula once in a while and he actually spits up less on that (maybe because it’s thicker) so I assume dairy isn’t it? Or would it be different in the formulation than in my breastmilk? My best next guess right now is eggs but no improvement yet.

      @@Sharpieasatack I was wondering this rather than the probiotics. If you get a random good day or bad day I would think it’s a good change. Have you downloaded my eating guides for the breastfeeding mum?

      No I haven’t. I’ll look into it. I do think I’m seeing a bit of an improvement over yesterday and today. Hoping I just need to be more patient.

      @@Sharpieasatack if you go to my website and search breastfeeding you’ll find the downloads. Okay cool, maybe stick it out or do 4 drops per days for a few days and then increase back to 8 drops. Let me know how you get on.
