Couple of things are wrong here. 1) bnb combo after every regular launcher is actually: EWHF, b3,f1, bf2,3,f,u1, cd4,2 (or b3,2 if there is a wall) This combo does the biggest wall carry without heat. If you there is no wall you have strong oki where most get up options lose to ff2 or b2,1 on wake up. If they stay on the ground or side roll just d2. They can not tech roll. The damage is optimised. E.g. with d3+4 as launcher it does 76 dmg compared to 78 on this video with CDS 1,3 as ender it trades off 2 hp for oki or wall conversion. However it's worth noting that the combo is not consistent with d3+4 and ff3 so it's better to go for b3 instead of EWHF as combo starter. 2) The combos that feature d3+4 and ff3 into EWHF are listed as "Medium." They're advanced. The timing to not noly hit that electric but then follow it up with b3,f is tricky as af. There are 2 things in a row that can go wrong. In order to connect that electric you need to confirm the recovery after d3+4 and ff3 in the first place in order to not get df2 after which the input window for EWHF is too narrow for "medium." Also wanted to note that heat combos suck and are not worth the effort. They leave more white hp and spend your heat gayge. For instance landing b3,2 twice does 80 unrecoverable dmg. And then you can enter heat mode and threaten with h.smash or f3 mixup that's very opressive. EDIT it might actually be better to go for bf2,1,2 instead of bf2,3,f,u1 because the latter tends to drop from time to time. The difference in combo dmg is 1 recoverable hp in favor of the latter. So maybe better to go for consistency.
I just went for the highest damage ender with b+3,1,f,3 and wasn't concerned with the oki as that could nearly be its own video to explain the options after it. But yes you are right using bf+2,3,f,uf+1 gives more wall carry. Maybe the EWHF could be classed as medium-hard but the timing isn't extremely tight where you cant do it outside of a match with a little practice but again that is just my opinion so everyone's will be different! Yeah the heat smash combos generally aren't worth it unless there is a situation where you need the extra damage to finish a round off so they have some use hence why I included them in the video. Consistency is key majority of the time for combos in matches so using laser scraper might be better in replace of bf2,3,f,u1. Thanks for the informative comment though, it helps everyone improve :)
@@Dianatroda actually with the combo I described you might as well just do the stance into 1,3 for finnisher. From hopkick it will do 70 dmg (36/34 black to white health ratio). EDIT: though it does 1 less white hp dmg than yours...

Pretty lame combo ender imo but it seems to be pretty damn optimal given the okizeme options after i was hoping for something more flashy like db2,3 but they can quick back roll to avoid it ;/ if anyone has a better ender let me know, the hellsweep ender feels so lame to me but feels optimal compared to DF4, ws1,2, etc.. ;/

@Dianatroda I can do the regular one consistently, along with consistent wave dashes and wave dashes into other moves like f, f+2 and 4. Just struggle with the electric timing specifically. I'll for sure check out your electric vid though, thanks!
@ape37 it really is just practice and I was once in the same boat as you when I first started but it just comes over time! I assume you are on pad yes? A lot pad players like to hit the 2 right after they hit forward and it lines up nicely when they hit down forward Some people find electrics easier if you map the L1 or L2 button to triangle so everything is being done on the same hand
@Dianatroda I just gotta put in the time then lol. That would be great advice, but I actually play on a qanba obsidian. Impulse bought one and a hitbox when gg strive first came out. That was my first fg but mainly due to a horrible and not wired connection, I didn't play much (less than 10hrs play time). Fixed that issue recently and now getting really into tekken 8 haha I actually played gg strive using the hitbox, so the stick is completely new to me too and still getting used to it so that's probably playing a role. Lot of fun though and these types of videos are super useful, so thank you for putting them out!

Sorry it was actually C2. The highest I can get is 69 with that combo while in rage mode. Not sure why I can’t get the 72. I guess it’s close enough, I just find it odd because I’m doing the same combo as you lol

@sk84o4 There is a lot to take in and I played tekken for years and didn't know what an electric was either so don't worry 😅 If you look at Jins move list you should see a 'Wind Hook Fist' command and an 'Electric Wind Hook Fist' The electric version is 1 frame faster and is plus 5 on block and safe! Look up a tutorial on UA-cam on 'Tekken how to do an electric Wind god fist' I might do a tutorial on it myself with the amount of new players playing tekken 8
Does C11 not work anymore? Or am I just bad? I can't cleanly connect the final hit of the b+3,f > 1,3 after SSR and dashing in. I don't know if I'm just bad at sidestepping and can't do it fast enough or what. I've only been able to "hit" the combo in such a way that the combo counter/calculator separates them into two different combos, one before the dash and one after with just the 3 final hits.
It should still work but I will test it later and confirm! It's only a small sidestep right and are you making sure to dash right in on top of them after the sidestep?
@@Dianatroda I am trying to the best of my ability to do so. I haven't really been doing much sidestepping so I am not discounting the possibility that I'm just bad; the only thing I can think of that is messing this up is that I just can't do the sidestepping as far as you do in the video and transition into dash and the final 3 hits all at once quick enough. I forgot to mention that aside from hitting it where it becomes 2 separate combos, the closest I've gotten is hitting the last 2 of the 3 final hits, only for the 3/kick to go through but only for to it totally whiff as it doesn't make contact with the enemy at all.
@@Reveiller I tested it there and it still works but it seems to be a little more tighter than the demo version. You just have to do a big enough sidestep right for it to connect. But with it being that little bit tighter I wouldn't use this combo as a BnB as it is to likely to drop in a game now in the full version
4:03 after i do EWHF, how do u connect the B+3f? It never connects no matter how fast i do it. Although! sometimes when i hit EWHF i can get away with doing B3f without the dash, then deep dash after to get the heat smash to hit, but its very random whether the target gets yeeted too far or when i can just B3F. I just do the dash before the first back 3 so you don't need as big a one before the heat smash. I thought this combo was hard when I first started doing it as doing the dashes before b+3 would always drop for me but just practice inputting f,f then b really quickly and you will end up doing this combo with ease!
Any tips or ways to improve on getting ewhf to come out after a launcher? I usually end up doing df2 or d2. One out of five tries I can get out a last minute ewhf whenever they drop past jin's waist, but even then I can't connect any moves after it 😔
It's just a matter of timing really. Just practice different timings after the launcher (don't practice the EWHF after cancans launcher as its very strict for that) Ws+2 launcher is a good one to practice getting EWHF after....Just make sure you are inputting the EWHF correctly as I know when I was first doing these combos years ago I would be trying to do the EWHF so fast I'd mess up the input...so turn on command history and make sure your inputs are clean to! You can also turn on the recovery animation in practice mode to help and it will tell you when Jin has recovered after the launcher and that will help with practicing the timing of EWHF!
@@Dianatroda alright cool thank you for this I can now land the ewhf consistently after ws+2 and working on uf+4 now. However, I wasn't able to find the recovery option in practice that you mentioned though.
The Thunder god fist extension you mean? I will see what else I can get with it :) That stance seems like it's going to be so strong, it's a 50:50 with TGF and hellsweep!
Also for C32 is it optional to use b+3+4 > 2F for heat dash or can we use FF2 for the same amount of damage? I don't want to mix and match during matches if I can help it.

@@Dianatroda Hey man. Question for the cancan medium combo. Can't seem to get the timing of the ewhf after the d+3+4. The ewhf doesn't connect. I try to do the ewhf earlier but the initial forward doesn't come out becuase I think the animation is still finishing. The obvious solution would probably to input the ewhf as fast as possible after the animation is over but then the precise timing of the just frame messes up for me and I end up getting a qc instead of f,d. Do you have similar issues with this part of the combo is it pretty easy since its "medium". I'm finding that timing so harsh
@lilanesut The timing for it is strict enough but its possible but looking back on it now I would change this combo to hard cause the timing is strict and it can be hard to pull off in an actual match! So I'd go with one of the other cancan combos as the EWHF isn't match reliable

GODAMN the transition from b+3,F>1 to b,f+2,3 is like so so tricky, there is a delay between b+3,F>1 and b,f+2,3. I swear that makes that combo not easy at all. Also C10 easy?Incorporating Crouch Cancel mid combo... db1+2 combos are available only with Heat active.

@@Dianatroda I dont find that b,f+2,3 is bufferable during the b+3,F>1 recovery,because you can delay 2 after b+3,F>1 , so a full recovery is needed as far as i can see and then i can input b,f+2,3...
im having trouble with connecting the cd+1 to EWHF to DF2,DF2, I can do those movements fine its just the timing on how to connect them thats messing with me

Hi man, I wanted to say i really appreciate this video.. as a new player it's hard as fuck getting into the game. I had some questions tho, as of now i'm having problems at connecting b3 after getting counter hit f4 ( i'm doing combo 13) i'm doing it as fast as i can but it just won't connect and i honestly don't know why. Also in combo C4 i'm having a bit of problems at connecting the third b3, sometimes that also won't connect (sometimes it works, it's strange that i can't get it consistently). I wonder if there are some tricks to this stuff, anyways thanks again for this combos.

@@shonk2036 You have to hold forward immediately after pressing b+3. So once you press b+3 slide into forward as quickly as possible so Jin will go into his Zen stance, that's the only way the B+3 picks up.

@@shonk2036 I am referring to the second b+3. When you go to connect the second b+3 make sure you hold forward after it or it wont connect. If you look closely at the inputs you can see a forward in there ( The inputs are a bit messy but thats my fault but the forward input still registers). can you record and send me what you're doing on discord?

@drxskull9834 are you pressing b+3 quick enough? That's one of the easier ones to chain b+3 as you don't have to dash before it...try it again and tell me if its still dropping and I will try to help

Just practice different timings after the launcher (don't practice the EWHF after cancans launcher as its very strict for that) Ws+2 launcher is a good one to practice getting EWHF after....Just make sure you are inputting the EWHF correctly as I know when I was first doing these combos years ago I would be trying to do the EWHF so fast I'd mess up the input...so turn on command history and make sure your inputs are clean to! You can also turn on the recovery animation in practice mode to help and it will tell you when Jin has recovered after the launcher and that will help with practicing the timing of EWHF!
@@Dianatroda alright cool thank you for this I can now land the ewhf consistently after ws+2 and working on uf+4 now. However, I wasn't able to find the recovery option in practice that you mentioned though.

That stance seems like it's going to be so strong, it's a 50:50 with TGF and hellsweep!

Also for C32 is it optional to use b+3+4 > 2F for heat dash or can we use FF2 for the same amount of damage? I don't want to mix and match during matches if I can help it.
The b+3+4 > 2F is 1 more damage than f,f+2 so not a huge difference in which one you use

Thanks for the vid. On C2 I can't seem to connect the b+3 after the second EWHF. Is it suppose to input asap or is it timed? I try spamming b+3 and it's always too late
Immediately after inputting b+3, hold forward and press 1. The b+3 will only hit if you go into his stance by holding forward

@@Dianatroda Hey man. Question for the cancan medium combo. Can't seem to get the timing of the ewhf after the d+3+4. The ewhf doesn't connect. I try to do the ewhf earlier but the initial forward doesn't come out becuase I think the animation is still finishing. The obvious solution would probably to input the ewhf as fast as possible after the animation is over but then the precise timing of the just frame messes up for me and I end up getting a qc instead of f,d. Do you have similar issues with this part of the combo is it pretty easy since its "medium". I'm finding that timing so harsh
@lilanesut The timing for it is strict enough but its possible but looking back on it now I would change this combo to hard cause the timing is strict and it can be hard to pull off in an actual match! So I'd go with one of the other cancan combos as the EWHF isn't match reliable

In regards to the EWHF being unreliable, would you say that applies to the other combos that use it? Would you be better off learning non electric combos? Using hitbox I can get electrics 80% of the time but thats nothing when you're put in the pressure of a match

GODAMN the transition from b+3,F>1 to b,f+2,3 is like so so tricky, there is a delay between b+3,F>1 and b,f+2,3.
I swear that makes that combo not easy at all.
Also C10 easy?Incorporating Crouch Cancel mid combo...
db1+2 combos are available only with Heat active.
You can buffer the input of b,f+2,3 during the recovery of b+3,F>1 so it comes out quicker, that should make it more consistent!

Hi man, I wanted to say i really appreciate this video.. as a new player it's hard as fuck getting into the game. I had some questions tho, as of now i'm having problems at connecting b3 after getting counter hit f4 ( i'm doing combo 13) i'm doing it as fast as i can but it just won't connect and i honestly don't know why.
Also in combo C4 i'm having a bit of problems at connecting the third b3, sometimes that also won't connect (sometimes it works, it's strange that i can't get it consistently).
I wonder if there are some tricks to this stuff, anyways thanks again for this combos.

Which combo? Are you holding forward and going into Zen 1? The b+3 can drop on some of the combos if you don't do that

@@shonk2036 You have to hold forward immediately after pressing b+3. So once you press b+3 slide into forward as quickly as possible so Jin will go into his Zen stance, that's the only way the B+3 picks up.

If you look closely at the inputs you can see a forward in there ( The inputs are a bit messy but thats my fault but the forward input still registers). can you record and send me what you're doing on discord?

it means Electric Wind Hook Fist, its move number 88 on Jins move list in Tekken 8, you can check it on that. But the notation is f,n,d,df+2 and the DEWHF just means dash electric wind hook fist so you just dash before you do it (f,f,n,d,df+2)
