This guy is amazing. Totally worth listenint to the entire video. I see so many bad instructional videos and this person is by far my favorite so far. Thank you for your videos.
Great channel, thanks for reviews. Ex equipment rep here, that ramp up you mention most likely serves to keep the start up amp draw low. We used to lift up the 2HP electric motors on belt driven paint sprayers to create some slip and keep them from tripping 15A breakers during initial pressurization. Once the line(s) are at pressure, the pump doesn't have to work as hard so tripping the breaker not as big a concern.
Hey that proprietary thread connection may be (BSPT) British Standard Pipe Tapered which is very similar to NPT! I found this out with my connections on my PCP air pistol pump!
Very good review as always Josh. How do you think this would compare with the newer Greenworks "industrial' models with the triplex pumps? GPW 2500C, GPW 3100C

You really should try the Generac 3100 PSI 2.4 GPM Residential Pressure Washer with PowerDial Gun pressure washer from Bj's its a amazing price at only $240 bucks. I have had it for almost 2 years and still works great.
Hey Josh I have the 2100 psi dewalt pressure washer and the older MJJC pro foam cannon. Do you know if there's a quick connect i can use to not have to dangle the foam cannon all the way at the end of the wand and just attach it to the stubby gun? You would help a lot!

@@TheMemeXp1 yeah the days of a ladder are long gone for me. I am just too lazy lol lol. But yeah on a ladder, work small areas, would be good. It is actually an impressive power washer for the psi and it being electric.
Hey Josh, I’ve recently been binge watching your videos since I’m looking for a pressure washer for car washing and occasional light use around the house. I’m going with the Ryobi 1800 psi unit (RY141802), mainly based on your videos. Your “Cheaper foam cannon” Amazon link in the description doesn’t work. Which foam cannon is that? Thanks!
I think checking the amperage while using the foam canons in smaller orifices should be tested aw well I seen on obsessed garage some units would spike over 15 amps on a smaller orifice foam canon
Thanks for the test josh on another topic giraffe tools has a 3200 psi with a 65 foot hose 1/4 hose reel on Amazon 180 Cdn might be have decent if the hose is crappy I would certainly switch to the Uber flex
Josh, what if the soap was diluted big time when using it with the stock foam cannon due to all the water that was injected in to it. Maybe do a retake with fresh dilution see if it works.
I am about to go buy an electric power washer ASAP. What is your top recommendation for an electric power washer for home use. Cleaning fences, concrete, decking, washing cars and power washing siding on a two story house?
Great review! I have this exact unit with a Zwift (MJJC) foam cannon, and it makes thick foam. Go figure. I use a Ryobi hose instead of the stock Dewalt hose. Could be something there?
Thanks for your video Josh. What would you recommend for cleaning my concrete patio and patio furniture. I wouldn't need to wash my car or anything. Just the patio. But I really need electric. I don't want to mess with gas and oil. TIA if you can help me!
My friend purchased the same machine he took it back. I used it. We did not like it for that price. Did you have a better hose and better quality machine?
Wow the foam issue it is very weird! I recently bought the Ryobi 3000 1.1gpm that you reviewed and also bought an Amazon “Realyou” foam cannon and comes with the 1.1 screw-on orifice and that thing makes real thick foam out of everything you feed to it! I even makes foam out of the red engine degreaser (I don’t use it for car washing, don’t freak out 😂) and degreasers are not really that frothy when you agitate.
@IMJOSHV this thing had fantastic numbers! As did the 2100 in your review. 1. At the end of this video you suggest the 2100 but on the 2100 there is no foam test 2. It would seem with such great numbers this machine would deserve maybe an investigation video to troubleshoot if these washer can get to the desired foam production?

I plan to create a nice detailing area with shelf, hose reel etc. I have probably watched too many of your pressure washer videos and have "Analysis paralysis". My question is it really worth paying $350 for an Active 2.0 to get that 2.0 gpm, when I can get a $100-$200 pressure washer and get the correct spray tip orfice to get me that 1.3-1.7 gpm?
I have a question, a can of spray paint released a fine but noticeable tan paint on my white door of my Highlander. What is your suggestion. Thanks for your reply.
Some waxes will remove paint from spray cans. I use to get a wax/polish from a independent maker that we used on everything from paint, rubber, glass does not leave white residue. It would remove spray paint. Still use it some.
