- Thank you for coming to my channel :) How is your day going? I took my cat Pepper with me to the pottery studio and we worked on our pottery projects. We trimmed some pots, threw some new vase forms, and then picked up a little and got sushi.

What exactly is the difference between clay and porcelain? I love watching yout videos, it makes me really want to take pottery classes now! Ive been watching them for maybe a year now and i noticed that you actually really really improved since then, your walls are way thinner, cleaner and more even, keep it up!!
Awwww thank you! Different clay bodies just have different uses and pros and cons. Its a very long list but i like porcelain because it is so white and very stretchy when throwing. Works well for the forms im trying to make :)

What kind of boards do you use for your tables? Are they plywood or mdf? I love your work. I just started pottery 6 months ago. I live on sailboat but we come to NZ during cyclone season and stay for 6 months then go to the islands for 6 months. NZ is big on art and I joined a studio here. But, my dream is to have my own studio when we go back to land. You are a great inspiration for me!

Why the plate atop the wheel? Easier to remove a smaller object like a mug by pulling the plate rather than cutting the base?
Also, I haven;t seen you use porcelain before! Glad I decided to pop over and watch a full video.
Some clays like porcelain are very prone to warping, i throw them pretty thin so the plate (we call a bat in pottery) helps remove the work from the wheel without disturbing it! And awww thank you

Do you think that it is easier to wedge all of the clay at once rather than weighing than wedging or is it just more efficient?
Definitely easier to wedge all at once! The other thing is wedgeing makes the clay uniform so if you do that too all your clay before you cut it you know each of the cut pieces is uniform in consistency:)

Hello! Can I just ask about the specific wheel you have
I think it’s important, that people like him because of his work, and not because of his beauty. Sure, he has both, pottery skills, and he is handsome. But that’s not that what people are made of, to like someone because he‘s handsome, isn’t the right way to go. Here, I’m pretty sure you are a good person Adam, but it’s not just about you, it’s about society. Good looking boys aren’t always the nicest one. As long as somebody makes a compliment to somebody about how handsome he is, there is no doubts about it. But if you worship, or like somebody because of his handsomeness, you are going the wrong way. Our god praised us, that handsomeness can help people to rule, it brings them attention, there duty is it than to rule and behave wishfully. But he also praised, that handsomeness can be a threat. People who are abusing it, to … one after another, are a danger. People are often blinded by it, but not always. When the hand of our almighty god controls their way of life, they will see the person, not the body, hair or cosmetic’s.
To sum it up: This whole text I wrote, is NOT an attack on you Adam. I love your content and your work. Keep going! I just saw some comments on your shorts, were I read some comments like:

I hope you will keep up your work for a long time! It was just a general poetic and religious text. It shouldn’t be understood as warning for every handsome one. It should be more like a text, to think about, what god gave you, and other people. What good looking hair he gave you, what a nice skin, and so on.
