mainly depends on the game dev that how did he/she code it. while vulkan is harder to code in, this makes optimization more difficult even after vulkan being a faster api.

no there is no difference between them, maybe little to no difference across different games.
In some games ray tracing doesn’t work on vulkan
Every game that supports Vulkan runs way much smoother than DX.
Vulkan is a cross-platform api too, unlike DX12 and that's a great advantage for developers.

4 -8 core cpus the old one's have always an advantage on vulkan an run with the same fps in the most games as 8 to12 or 16 core cpu's but with open soure (Vulkan) and that crazy amount of hackers everywhere world wide is no interest for anyone really on high resolution 3440x1080 and 4k vulkan is a must to play smooth on high settings and with minimum 100 fps +

@@micha3624 game developers using dx12 are giving it the bad name since dx12 gives developers more control it then leads to developers not using it fully and the game ends up being shit because of performance.
@@shrivelling6877 i realize it's not complete failure, as much of the blame is on incompetent devs as you wrote. But when given choice between two low-level APIs, Vulcan is at least more open source
@@micha3624 Yeah Vulkan being open source is definitely a major pro since you won't have to rewrite your entire game so you can port it to another platform if you used directx
