I would say for just one mag, I'd wait for a sale and scoop one of those up for $13-16. I scored a bunch of clear mags for really low costs and then the dye is only a few bucks, so this would be much cheaper than buying ones colored. It does technically void the warranty, but they also don't sell blue, so I'm fine with that.
@@ysnK5ifth I would imagine the clear would take some color! The smoke may just get murky looking. I haven't tried it on one yet but since it's sort of already got dye in it, it may not take more. Definitely should try it out and let me know! It's only like $3 a bottle at Walmart so worth the shot!
Thanks for the video. Not sure if i want to dye my clear one or buy a red one to go with my +5 baseplate. Need a smoke grey to the collection also.

can u do this with a polymer ets mag i got a clear and smoke grey want to try it out
