What a great capture Kev 👍 To get away from the office sometimes (80’s) do my paperwork, I used to park at Upper Heyford in the hope of seeing F111’s. And one day ‘bingo’ 42 no. returning from exercises many doing a touch & go before finally landing 😀
Hi Jazzycat , BHX is often used for practice , using C17 , A400M , KC2 Voyager , sometimes injured military are flown in and taken to the QE Hospital. 👍
@@AirportAction Hi Kev ,okay thanks for that. I just wondered was there a war looming or something. I’ve been watching since January, but never saw this before ,just checking to see if it’s unusual, cheers .
Thanks Kev and Michelle. Unfortunately I'm missing a lot of your stuff lately, the car self destructed yesterday so been out getting another one today. It was important as we're off on holiday on Saturday!😬
@@AirportAction yes but we're all sorted now and the wallet's a lot lighter as well 😕. I'm taking my pad on holiday so can still watch you while we're away😁.
Normally for trainee pilot practice - East Mids airport often has Ryanair doing many touch & go's and flying in loops and I've read each one is with a different new trainee pilot - they all sort of wait to be called up by the instructor.
One has to realize there are many settings and adjustments a pilot makes to accomplish safe landings, and likewise for take offs. This training is vital in perfecting those where an airfield/ airport has a quiet spot during operations. Nice video.
Hi Rebecca , it's not unusual to see a C-17 or an A400M practicing touch n gos at BHX. Last year i caught 2 A400's landing one after the other at the airport , and we have seen 2 Apache's land at the airport in 2022. However i don't know the reason for the latest military action at BHX 👍
@@LukeShort1854 BHX is already used for military operations - personnel injured abroad are flown in there then blue-lit or helicoptered to the Royal Center for Defence Medicine at the QEHB campus in Edgbaston.
went plane spotting 2 months ago for the first time and i was lucky to see and get to record a C-17 doing a touch and go!
Nice bit of military action, well caught! 👏🏽

Major military action at BHX this week 😊😊
Out in force it seems at the minute Dawn 👍
Wow!
Thanks Frederick 👍
@@AirportAction You're most welcome!
Question is why the increased military activity at BHX recently?
Rough landings imo 😮
OMG Thomas , thank you for your very generous donation , we are very grateful for the support 👍 You have been so kind to us , thank you once again 👍
Nice filming kev
Thanks Mackenzie 👍
Defo looks like Thunderbird 2
Would love to depart/arrive Brum in one of these beasts as a change from boring airbusses or 7?7s.
Would make for a grand arrival Brian 👍
How can Birmingham's runway be classed as a runway it's like Blackpool's big dipper!
🤣
Skills my friend, skills.
Question is, why the increased military activity at BHX recently, is something happening?
Military action ,I haven’t watched airport action for long ,is this unusual ?
Three Apache’s and now this at a passenger airport, any significance?

what was the point of these touch and go's

Brilliant 👍
Is that a practice session then ?
It’s brilliantly professional.
That plane is as fat as my neutered Tom 🤪
When was this?
Today , before the A380 arrival 👍
Hey Kev, is there something they aren`t telling us??? 3 Apache gun ships, now C17, maybe Raptors and warthogs tomorrow. give us your thoughts dude.

Could they be testing bhx as an operation base if things with Russia and Ukraine escalate?
