Great compilation Kev, the pilots certainly put their skills to the test over the weekend. I couldn’t watch any of the streams Live but watched some of Sunday’s stream on replay (when the storm was at its strongest) and was quite glad I wasn’t on any of those flights 😮
The combination of the filming angle and your zooming in then out makes it look like these planes are just kind of gently dropping out of the sky, love your work!
Yer it's weird physics illusion relativity it's still going at least 200 mph , just doesn't look like it , they do look motionless sometimes, and some of this footage even makes them look like helicopters!
Saw that first one on the livestream and couldn't believe he didn't go around. When the tail swung around before the flare, I thought "abort now!". Great compilation, mate.
Brilliant video watching these planes again the pilots are amazing, some really scary moments that day, we mustn’t forget the ATC as well, go arounds makes their job more difficult I should imagine
Brilliant channel,. I'm local to the area but how do you get to your view point. Ive sat at the other end in sheldon country park but the sun is in my face most of the time, so your subjects (when the Sun is out) are in the best position. KRO.
What airline was the first landing? Kudos at the pilot's skill on display but the airline must have a much larger operating window compared to Turkish go around airlines. I only recently found your channel but loving the videos. I live in Uttoxeter so windy weather here will usually mean some interesting landings to be seen.

The very long runway at Birmingham does give the smaller aircraft a better option of touching down in these conditions.
