I just saw the dub of "Youshou/Midnight Strike Force", which is pretty close to Ghost Story-tier comedy. As an unironic hentai, Youshou is goddam terrible, but as a comedy, its pretty good.

Here in Latin America, despite the fact that anime is very popular, we never got hentai dubbed into our language, but one of the few hentai that got dubbed was an obscure one called Darling from the 2000s, and most of the VAs that worked in that dub were amateurs which were actually credited with pseudonyms but people managed to figure out that the MC was voiced by Óscar Flores, which is a well known Mexican VA who has voiced characters like Numbuh One in KDN, The Ice King in Adventure Time, Lazlo in Camp Lazlo, the Narrator in Kaguya-sama, Genji in OverWatch, Allen Schezar in Escaflowne, Ryusui in Dr. Stone, etc. People asked about his participation in that hentai and he was quite open about it and he joked about it. Since 2022 a Mexican anime streaming service called Anime Onegai began brining some ecchi and hentai shows, things like Yosuga no Sora and Overflow, and they're dubbing them with plnety of well known VAs and they have been well received. And this is the part where I actually find it a bit sad that some ecchi and hentai anime have better Neutral Spanish dubs than more mainstream anime like My Hero Academia (seriously, MHA LatAm dub is horrible)

Doesn't the BBFC have an R18 rating for porn? In the US, they usually just substitute that with a warning. However, now, I'm seeing hentai rated TV-MA. I heard someone say there is no US equivalent to R18. However, the fact that there are now hentai rated TV-MA, does that mean there is an equivalent of R18 now?
There are only 3 good hentai dubs I've seen. They are Itadaki! Seieki, the one at 13:27, which I forgot the name of and one more recent one which was really excellent which I also can't remember the name of. I think it came out 2 or 3 years ago.

Love Hentai, been watching it since Urotsukidoji and La Blue Girl were re-released onto DVD back in the 2000s. Unfortunately I was a little too young back in the VHS days to collect these classics but during the mid to late 2000s I certainly dedicated a special shelf to get some of these amazing Japanese Adult Cartoons.
