How to Use iPad Synths with Circuit Tracks

  • Goes over what cables, apps, configurations needed to control iPad synth apps from the Novation Circuit Tracks.
    Notes/Corrections from errors on video:
    To change the Midi channels on the Tracks, I was in the right place but I was confused because the last channel was red which is channel 16. Now, I remember that that channel is reserved. So, you can change your channels by pushing the top two rows.
    Synth One was still triggering because the settings within the synth app (outside of AUM) were still set to channel 4, too. So, it was still on channel 4 even though I changed it in AUM. Keep in mind that sometimes you need to change the channels in the apps, too.
    I know the video is rough, but I hope it helps some people!

    If you want to accomplish this using an iPhone or lightning device, you can use the same software, but buy something like this in place of the USB-C adaptor above:
