That was wicked brother! I just came from my fixin of Samual Jackson playing it in the movie and I scrolled down looking for the video I USED to watch that had Christina Ricci in the chains and the sound of the chains .. very powerful for me .. and I saw your thumbnail and thought hey let’s see what this brother is doin. It was real nice man, and you’re a good looking guy too, not that that matters, I just think it’s nice to hear from people :) I felt like I could see and hear you holding back a little .. so I know you have more fire 🔥 and I can tell you have some mad skills. So happy I clicked👍🙋🇦🇺 🎸 Have a great day.
I've seen a bunch of these covers. You got the best shot. I write this to ask, please, re-record and sing it again. Bu this time, do it slow. While your doing it, put it in the perspective, of something you lost. Someone who died. The black snake, is that feeling you get, when those sad thoughts, about that loss, start to take ahold, and you have a moment of breaking down. This song, should be sung like that. Sure, songs can be made into a bebop, head nodding type of thing. But the content of whats being said, if coupled with emotion, is where it's at. The movie clip, of Samuel L. Jackson is sang from that perspective. It has 1.5 million views from some guy who randomly uploaded it. Another i see has 1.2m views. The snake, was his ex wife. She cheat on him, stole from him, left him, and he loves her. So he often thinks of getting back with her. But he knows in his heart, that she will do it all again. He cant let his love, destroy his life. Still like your version, but its missing that mechanism that tickles the feels.
