For all you budget beauties out there, take a bar of clear Pears soap, cut it and put it in a Nudestix tin, ( or something similar). It works so well with an old brow spoolie, and it’s totally portable and looks classy. I’ve never purchased Soap Brows, but I can’t see myself ever needing to. 😊. Thank you for all your awesome tutorials and tips!
Risa, I have been following you for a few months now and I just LOVE your videos and I think you are gorgeous and also just kind and genuine!! I appreciate your honesty and for being YOU. Keep up the great work!
I love the looks you put together for mature skin and hooded eyes. I try to follow EVERY DETAIL you give when it comes to foundations, under eye concealers, setting powders, and setting sprays; and when to use sponges or brushes. I have very prominent dimples in both cheeks, which were adorable 20 yrs ago. I'm now 48 yrs old and now I have A LOT of deep expression lines under my eyes when I smile and my makeup finish NEVER looks flawless like yours. I don't know what to do anymore....I love the way that you explain everything. You're amazing at what you do, so "Thank you for the time that you put into your channel. I may be fighting something that I just need to accept.
50-something Male who loves wearing male-appropriate makeup. I enjoy popping over to your channel every evening to see what new masterpiece you've created. You are beautiful, your speech is so enjoyable to listen to and I love your artistry!! Love to you from Manhattan!
That foundation made your skin look more flawless, as your skin is already beautiful!!! I will need to give that Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation a try. Thank You and continue to stay Beautiful and Safe🤩🤩🤩
Great video! Thank you for listing some dupes. A lot of people say that the Loreal True Match Lumi foundation is a perfect dupe for the Georgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation.
I like that you don't do the huge amount of concealer that so many YT and IG influencers use. My goodness, they must go through tubes and tubes of it so frequently and they are younger and really don't need that excessive amount. This a very nice, natural look!
This is the first time I went back and watched a makeup tutorial “twice”. You look so beautiful Risa. Using all your favorite, favorites look so stunnng and natural on you. All the best of the best makeup you used in combination, the black sheer blouse, the most beautiful hair style I’ve seen on you. You always have beautiful hair Risa, but, this hair you look 10 -15 years younger! Promise. I read a beauty book by Charla Krupp several years ago, she says longer hair styles can shave years off. People can associate long hair with youth. Some people don’t think long hair is flattering on us aging gals. And, that’s ok too. You should wear the style you like the best on yourself. I don’t know if you can see my pic to the left, but I am 58! So, almost 60! And, people can’t believe I’m 58 until I show them drivers license proof. Then they are shocked. As we know genes play a big role, Japanese/ Portuguese mother and American father. (Mom is 80 and no wrinkles at all) The Japanese have amazingly smooth skin. Of course, you are a lot younger then me and your skin is so smooth and creamy. Love you Risa, always love your show’s 🤗 Collette.
so heartwarming to see how thrilled you are to share your favorites and praise their artistry. you have such a generous and expansive soul. Keep up the great work! PS your comment about working on models reminded me when you worked on your own mother. It would be cool if you could do more everyday models in the future!
Risa, wow this is my new favorite! All these makeup artist mentioned are fantastic and your favorites using their favorite products was amazing. I’m so excited you included Hindash, he is so good and his makeup looks are stunning always! Scott Barnes and his beautiful new shadow’s and contour’s and brushes are so perfect, he’s a legend. What a great idea to do this video. So fun to watch you, I think you’re super wonderful and I try to follow your techniques applying my makeup everyday. I don’t look like Risa?!? Lol. I still try though. You’re amazing 😉
Thanks for showing how to apply the liquid Nars blush. I definitely have overdone it by applying to a beauty blender directly. It's this little dot that takes forever to blend out. I should have thought about applying to back of the hand before on blush brush.
What a brilliant idea for a video! You were so cute & sweet with your brows - I was totally cheering for you - I think they look great👍👍👍 Looking gorgeous as always . I zeroed in on your necklace immediately- so beautiful! Thank you for sharing such a fun video Stay safe ❤️❤️🙏💕 Xo Tammy Roy 🇨🇦
Loved this video Risa!!! ...I am always so inspired by your videos. Your dedication to furthering your already fantastic skills is to be commended FOR SURE! ❤️
This was so GOOD Risa!! Thank you for listing your favorite makeup artists! The one I love is liquid Nars in Orgasm. So beautiful!! I’m gonna follow all your people! You always give the best tips! I just got in the pointed qtips you recommended and love them!! Stay safe Lovely!🤗
What a great idea for a video Risa ❤️👍 I am really inspired 🙏😘 And I find that you are real, sweet and relatable, so Thank you from a 50 year old subscriber from Denmark 🙏🥰
Truffle is amazing for contouring. It very reminiscent to ABH Mink, but not the ashy gray undertone, and much more creamy. It blends perfectly, buildable coverage.
Risa, you are so me trying to do the make up artists looks. Love the way that you explain. The Denona’s tutorial that you explained I tried and It was very good. Thank you! 💜👄
Great video Risa! I just recently went back and watched your hooded eye video and I'm so happy I did! I had been in a funk with my application and that brought back the happiness! My application has been soo much better. Thank you Risa ❤️
Thank you for a great video..you and Stephanie Marie are keeping these days normal for me and, I thank you for that. Love to you, your family. Take care xx
The Fenty stick now has color Amber #22 which is just for cool tone contour & it looks more similar in depth of darkness to your mocha vs the darker truffle.
Gorgeous! You look amazing! Thanks to you I discovered Hindash... so talented, love him! I'm looking forward to discovering the others you mentioned. I often watch your videos and enjoy them, I'm subscribing right now!
This is the first time I've seen brow soap being used. Although I won't use most or any of these brands I really did enjoy the video. Thanks again Risa. You keep it light and pleasant. More need to take note...
Have SB's Snatcheral Palette, LOVE, have Fenty contour stick, LOVE and i'm so sorry you had bad eyebrow microbladding experience! i had mine done in June and they are BEYOND Fabulous and natural...#livlovebrows....loved this video!
LOVE Scott Barnes’ eyeshadows and I will forever be grateful for his mascara, but I WISH he made a smaller shadow pallet because I’m not a MUA and don’t need ALL those shades.
What a fun video. I hate doing my brows. When I was young I went to an electrologist who took out too much of my eyebrows so one brow is a much shorter than the other at the front of the brow where it is supposed to be thickest. I will have to buy the brush and the dip brow. You did a great job on your brows. i always do my brows first to get them out of the way.
Love all your videos and this one is one of my favorite. Love how you explain technique and details. Gonna try some of these new products! Would you recommend the Nars Orgasm liquid blush for olive/yellow skin undertones?
Great tutorial and information. You are so inspiring to try new things. My eyebrows are the hardest to create a look so I wear bangs but still trying. See you in the next showing. I had tried to purchase this top from a previous video but it was sold out then and never restocked.
I actual picked up the DOC concealer during their site sale the other day based on your recommendation from a recent video mention. Can’t wait to try it! Oh, and the kitten karma is my favorite. When I want a little sparkle during the weekday I actually apply the stills using a makeup brush. Makes the glitter less concentrated but still there.
I really like this video. I will have to look up a couple of the artist, I was not familiar with. Like you I am fair a have eyebrows sort of, but they are really blond. Your turned out great, I will have to try that. ❤️🙌
Your top is so cute and you are beautiful as always. I typically only use a tinted sunscreen for my face (australian gold, which I love) but would also like to have a very polished look like yours. Do you know of any foundations that play nice with this sunscreen?
DOC concealer, I thought it would of been the Dior power fabric !!! Ahh ha, Im always in search for a good concealer, I wasnt impressed with the PML concealer and setting powder what so ever....I absoutly love the Becca anti fatigue, and CT color corrector for my darkness with a pop of the PML for brightening ( def not for coverage )
I discovered the Nars tinted in light at TJ Maxx and im obsessed and will purchase at full price when its empty, I purchased the EL double wear, I want to get the GA foundation next *)
Love this video! I was curious if I’m just seeing things or is your hairline purple? Do you use a root powder? I’m trying to find something to cover greys so I’d love to know! Thank you for such wonderful content!!
I love this!!! Thanks for the shout out 😘♥️😍

This was so fun, and you look glorious Risa 👏🤩
Risa, I have been following you for a few months now and I just LOVE your videos and I think you are gorgeous and also just kind and genuine!! I appreciate your honesty and for being YOU. Keep up the great work!
This is probably one of my favorite videos you’ve ever made , enjoyed it immensely
You’ve made my day! Thank you!
Love your tutorial!
I love how your personality came out in this video. It’s nice to know you struggle with some techniques also.
I love the looks you put together for mature skin and hooded eyes. Great video! Thank you for listing some dupes. A lot of people say that the Loreal True Match Lumi foundation is a perfect dupe for the Georgio Armani Luminous Silk foundation.
I haven’t tried that one myself, but maybe I will add it as a “suggested” dupe to my list. Thanks! 😃
Merrianne C I LOVE dupes. I can’t afford luxury or high end. It’s sad. I’m 59 and skin care is nice to have. But they charge so much money. Ugh !
All the products played well together... I love the final look 💕💕💋

Very creative & fun video! Was great to see some of your favorite artists & their favorite products you use.

Risa, I'm the same age as you are! Back in the day, we were waxing our brows! Bushy brows were definitely not a thing! Great video as always! 😊

Loved this vid Risa!
Love this video!! There’s a KVD brow brush #75 that mimics hair. I wonder if that one would be better to fake brow hair.
💜💋💜💋💜💋💜 I just love your happy personality & that you put it in your videos always!🤩 Thank you for being you!💜💜💜💜💜
Aw, thank you for this sweet comment!!! I appreciate it! 😃💕
I regretted my micro blading experience too - thank you for keeping it real!!❤️
What exactly is microblading?
Very informational. Haven't heard of several of the products. It all looks wonderful.
Jan R. Phone in hubby's name. Don't know why. Forgot to put my name on comment.

Yay! I’m so happy to hear this! 😃👍🏻
Thank you Risa for this video! Great idea! Love to learn these techniques!!!😘
Stunning Risa!
I really like this video. I will have to look up a couple of the artist, I was not familiar with. Like you I am fair a have eyebrows sort of, but they are really blond. Your turned out great, I will have to try that. ❤️🙌
Well played Risa, well played. 💯
This was a fun video!
Beautiful look, very interesting video 👍🏻
Fabulous and fun! Does Patrick Ta make a pink cool toned lip cream that you recommend?
Your top is so cute and you are beautiful as always. I typically only use a tinted sunscreen for my face (australian gold, which I love) but would also like to have a very polished look like yours. Do you know of any foundations that play nice with this sunscreen?
And I emptied my Charlotte tilbury contour into and little jar, and use it from there with a brush🤷♀️
I dab a bit on my hand and hen apply with brush. Repackaging it would probably result in wasted product. This stuff isn’t cheap
Catnip 4 I agree and if my dispenser thing had not cracked and was spilling the product out, I probably would not have put it in a separate comtainer🤣

You did a great look
