    The station building has come out really well Geoff and has repaid all the effort and skill that went into its conversion. Also two new suppliers for me to go and have a look at so a bonus. Stephen

    Tremendous update Geoff 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Best thing ever to happen to a Metcalfe kit 😱😂😂😂 Apart from the kit bashing, you did a beautiful job of the weathering the model. Especially impressed by the moss on the roof that really brought the whole model to life. Excellent how to and a shopping guide as well, what’s not to like 😎 Great stuff, looking forward to the lighting update it is bound to be illuminating 😮😂😂😂 Very best wishes from County Wicklow ☘️ P.S. you did Reg proud 😉

    Hi Geoff first of all thankyou for the wire samples.
    Yet again another brilliant video.
    Loved the Metcalfe transformation, I must seriously look more into using the Plasticard range.
    As you saw by my video when I built the engine shed, using York roof tiles was not exactly a success, far to fiddly to use in my books.
    Love watching your videos, love the roof shot where you can see most of the layout at that end, brilliant.
    Looking forward to the next one.
    Regards Chris

      Hi Chris, thanks very much and no worries at all about the wire. Funny enough when i recorded the video i said that someone had used the tiles and had a nightmare with them, i thought it was Stephen at Elvenholme and then in the edit i know that was wrong and i edited it out. it was you! I knew i wasnt imagining it lol. Cheers Geoff

    Brilliant job Geoff what a great transformation. It really looks the part. I don't know how you n gauge modellers do it, far to small for me but it's great what you do. Enjoyed my dose of Pride parkway or should I say Regington atb Andy

    as you said it was a heritage station have you thought of running a track into the car park so visiting locos on low loaders can be delivered just a thought as a lot of heritage lines dont have access to the net work excellent kit bash of a metcalf kit and i like the waiting rooms

    • @PrideParkway
      @PrideParkway  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Trev, thanks very much. Yes absolutely, at the end of the car park there is a gap for a double gate and my plan is to include a low loader scene. All the best, Geoff

    Looks great, Geoff. I think the York Quoins are really good. I've never considered them before, but they do add something, don't they? Nice find with the downpipes and gutters too, they look especially good in the blue colour. It made me smile that you added them to the back even though they'll never be seen! :) (I thought that was just me!). I'm looking forward to seeing your approach to the interior lights - your work looks a lot less messy than mine! Good to see you with another video - hope all is well in "the real world". :) --Michael.

    • @PrideParkway
      @PrideParkway  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Michael, thanks very much, yes all good in the real world, apart from the fact i dont have enough time to get in the loft lol. Yes the Quoins are great especially for covering the joins on the plasticard corners. I considered using some Scalescenes Quoins but i'm pleased I went with these instead. As for the drain pipes, I can't help myself, as you'll see from my next video i went from adding a simple light into a signal box "because you cant really see in to it", to ordering a ratio interior for it, to then fitting some Scalescenes furniture and then ending the video by saying you can't really see much in there haha... but I know its in there so thats what matters. Looking forward to seeing the station develop over in Chandwell, thats my Spring 2021 project for Pride Parkway to. All the best, stay safe, Geoff

    Nicely done Geoff, the station looks great, were those roof tiles plasticard as they look really good. I’ve used the York Models roof tiles and they are effective but crikey are they fiddly!!!!!
    Looking forward to lighting as I don’t think it’ll be long before I make my first attempt, cheers Geoff, John

    • @PrideParkway
      @PrideParkway  3 роки тому +1

      Hi John, yes the roof tiles were Slaters Plasticard too, i think they look really good and so simple. Yes i was put off the York tiles as i've used teh strips from Scalescenes before and they were not my favourite thing lol.
      Hopefully have the lighting video up next week, i've just finished it and just need to edit the video now.
      All the best, Geoff
