I think the ending is the best part just because it's one of those things that you HAVE TO DO when you go to a place like that because if you don't you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Living life. Awesome video!!!
Just found your terrific channel by accident . Subbed . When you were in Tuk you probably noticed that 300 foot by 54 inch comm tower . I built that and another every 40 miles south to Yellowknife and also a tower west of Tuk every 40 miles to the Coppermine River . Spent 5 years in the Yukon and NWT building towers mostly at remote sites . Keep 'em coming . This is great . Awesome family .
The ending of this video was perfect. For sure would have done the same thing. Life is not about having things, it is about doing things and you guys are doing great things. Happy trails
I thought I've seen every outdoor adventure video on the tube until I came across this one. Simply the best. Looks like I will be binging your videos to get caught up.
You guys are really inspiring! Thank you for sharing your incredible journey with us, so that we may find the inspiration to get out and have our own! I know I am personally inspired and as soon as I can figure out a way to afford it, I will start building a rig of my own. I look forward to following all of your adventures for years to come! Thank you for the inspiration! 🙏
I followed your entire trip. It was amazing and emotional for me. I traveled from Boston to California and back again in three weeks time, thinking THAT was a trip(IT WAS!) But your journey with your young daughter took some courage! Thanks and good luck in your further excursions!
We did it about 5 years ago. Southern Ontario out to BC. We had a great time. My wife and I did the Atlantic provinces last summer. Now just N&L to finish off the provinces.
Amazing on so many different levels!! The lifestyle, history, seclusion and people make it an amazing place. Thank you guys for sharing this part of the world that so many people may never see. Oh and the coffee situation continues, Sarah has lots of patience thats for sure. Thanks again!!
I used to live up there in the eighties and worked on ice breakers way out on the Arctic ocean as a supply ship for the offshore rigs also worked on the rf shore rigs. And I know John Steen you tour guide very well actually a very good friend of mine.
Damn .. Caroline is the "real thing".... Everyone is in a winter coats and she is just waliking around in a T'shirt ! I've even seen videos where mom and dad were 'bundled up' more then her. Awesome
I love it, same side sitters for date night :) Love Tuk too. Great video as always. It was different for me in the winter- no bugs- no road - but you guys learned more. Fascinating.
I really loved the way u live the life on earth .....ur lucky to have a such a life....keep exploring and enjoying the world nature.....wish I could have the same life like u ....all the best for ur next trips and have safe drive
Having bad weather days is unavoidable if you have a long distance destination. I started out with the idea of getting a Turtleback a while ago but moved on to a 4X4 van, at a huge expense I might add. I would have ended up with plenty more money to spend had I bought the Turtleback, enough to get a room ever time it rains. I'm not nearly as young as you so comfort is a must. My point is, you guys were smart to have made this choice at a young age.
Ooooo...another Land Rover...yay !! Sorry...back to proper comments !!! Lol. Great video and what a place with so much history and culture. I'm sure all that must compensate for the amount of mosquitos??!! Happy travels bear family 👌👍
Thank you for sharing ALL your adventures and for the interesting history lessons...and you made it to THE ARCTIC CIRCLE!! Im not so crazy about fish either, but the Salami idea has me thinking. Great content, Thx again.
Such a amazing moment you saved in memories guys .. just love it yauu.. n thanks for sharing an amazing videos, never getting tired or boring to watch you guys having instant time. Peace be with you all .. n bunch of love from different side of earth like Pakistan..
Love your videos... My 5yo daughter and 2yo son enjoy watching with me. A true family show. (one suggestion... it would be great if you could give a map graphic as you move along your journey so we can all have a better idea of where you are).
Haha! I'm sure I couldn't resist a dip either. I bet it wasn't cold at all huh? ;-) Thanks for continuing to put these out. Keep up the great work & happy adventuring!
Soooo I live in Texas, Dallas Texas to be specific and must come from a Tropical People because me and the cold are not close friends. Great seeing your trip and being apart of your journey. This is roughly my 3rd video of yours, I will be hanging out with you guys to follow along. Pretty cool to see the Arctic. I bet getting in the Arctic Ocean there at the end was crazy cold. Do you have any idea what the water temperature was? Thank you for the videos! Have a safe trip!! God Bless you and your family!!!

"The daily grind" lolol. You guys were good sports with the partiers, don't know if this ol' body would adapt as well to the biological time clock gymnastics plus the night owls; it's all in the attitude. Beautiful people up there in Tuk, hardy, industrious and full of warmth; truly makes the experience far richer and memorable. AWESOME. . . . and a fitting baptism in the Arctic Ocean lol. Sweet.

I can see the wind getting so strong that it flips the trailer over with the tent deployed and people in it.
Mama bear has serious travel mug game. Contigo is second to none.
Those mugs are the bomb!
Frito pie is always a solid choice. Not sure if that’s the common name but it’s what we always call it.
