Hi Carter good morning happy Monday morning and I hope you having amazing weekend and I loved your book vlogs and this was amazing video I enjoy your channel
Literally just finished the audio book of crying at h mart ❤ so damn good. Hit me in the grief pressure points for sure. Her bad is amazing that she is in, and reading this made me love the music so much more . I hope you like it Carter!
I was in such a reading mode and was reading about 6 books per month, and suddenly, this month (April), I have had no desire to read. I don't know what happened. Hearing you talk about how excited you are to read your new books has definitely gotten me excited again! I am very ready to finish grad school and have extra time to read things I want to read
Honestly reading is just like any part of life where there will be ebbs and flows! Last year I read 150 books and this year I've maybe read like 1-2 books/month! It happens, don't beat yourself up about it- just find a good book to get you back into it!
@Carter Sullivan I'm about to cry. That was so motivating. Sometimes, I feel like a fraud when I say "I'm a reader" because I won't have read as many books as other people. It's hard to get that mindset!
Great Book Vlog. Enjoy watching these types of videos. For new book recommendations. Have a new pile too, not sure which one to read. The Secret Society of Irregular Witches was amazing. Such a great read. Thanks for a great vlog. 🤎
Addie laRue is a wonderful book! Definitely worth keeping! I’ve got it in kindle, special edition signed hard back, signed paperback - had ticket to go to VE Shwab’s book tour but was ill so I couldn’t go. They kindly sent me the book though! I’ve also just bought another copy of it on paperback so I can read it 😂 I’ve bought wisteria society - looked really good so thought why not! Watching this video has made me want to pick up a new book as well, so I’ve just grabbed one off my TBR shelf to read a couple of chapters of tonight ❤ x
KEEP ADDIE LARUE , even if you do listen on audio it's one of those books you get attached to. I own a physical copy and it's the one book I don't lend to people because I can't bear to let it leave my possession. favorite book of all time. whether you listen or read it is a worthy keep!
I am near the end of the Jay Shetty book and honestly it’s pretty good! To reflect about romantic relationships, ourselves and relationships in general
I finished Caraval 2 weeks ago and immediately bought the next books 🤩 I didn't even expect to like Caraval after a failed attempt to read it 3 years ago 😶🌫
The Dismembered and Crying In H Mart would be my votes! I quite liked The Long Weekend but wouldn't say it was AMAZING--better than The Nanny but not as good as I Know You Know imo.
Warning about Eight Perfect Murders, that book spoils a lot of classic mystery novels. It spoils And Then There Were None, The Secret History, and I think 6 more? There should be goodreads reviews telling you what stories get spoiled Since I have the same name as Cassandra and I love her story/myth I’m definitely intrigued by Radiant Sin 🤗
no spoilers here btw - but i just finished ‘i am watching you’ and was surprisingly disappointed. thought the story had potential but felt like a waste of time for me sadly. seemed like most of the book was just dragging me along until the very end and then everything finally unraveled and got exciting within the last 20 or so pages and before i knew it the book was over. books like that frustrate me!! interested to see what you think!
@@CarterSullivan If it makes you feel any better, my liat is 812 books long. 💀 When I went through my minimalist phase I got rid of all my physical books, so I'm living vicariously through you with the book shopping vlogs. Why do you prefer paperback to hardcover, if you don't mind me asking?
@@katiekaboom7747 Just a "feel thing"- I like how floppy and pliable paperbacks are- hardcovers annoy me at how rigid they are.. hope that makes sense😂
Just treated myself to stained glass cherry blossom bookmarks in two different designs from amazon - they are for the two books i am reading at the same time from thrift books online. I got two advice books for writers and dreamers....
I am very much NOT a fan of self help and non-fiction books, but I really liked building a second brain. It’s not long and I found some good ideas in it 😊 (considered business développement at indigo)
the invisible life of addie larue is literally my favorite of all time !!❤️
definitely keep it! its a real book-book if that makes sense haha.
Love love love! I borrowed the book from a friend and I'm so sad because it's the best
The Addie Larue one is really good as an audiobook! I bought it and come back to it every so often!
I really enjoyed Addie Larue. It's a great fall read in my opinion :)
Addie LaRue is totally worth keeping!! 5 Star... changed the way I read !!
Keep the Addie Larue. It's a fav!

I love the books
I love your hair in this video (when you had it up) 😍
Ah thank you! 🥹
The audiobook of Crying in H Mart absolutely destroyed me. I wish I could read it for the first time again. ❤
I recently picked up the 8 Rules of Love by Jay Shetty. This is my sign to read it next. 😊

I don't typically listen to audiobooks so I'll definitely keep the book! ♥️
Definitely keep Addie Laure! So good, one of my all time favs
love your book content 🫶
YAY!
I am near the end of the Jay Shetty book and honestly it’s pretty good!
To reflect about romantic relationships, ourselves and relationships in general
I'm excited to read it!!
I just read "Crying in H Mart"! It's definitely worth the read! I don't even have a good relationship with my mother and it got me emotional. Lol.
I'm so scared to read it because I'm so close with my mom!!!
An understandable concern! However, I do think it will even more to increase your appreciation for your mother than to traumatize you. 😊❤️
Love this
I went book shopping today at value village and it was definitely a good day! I got 10 books for the price of 2 new!
YOU SCORED TODAY!!!!
@@CarterSullivan shout out to canada having such insanely high book prices so we have to thrift our books to keep it budget friendly!
I added a bunch to my list after this 📚
Omg love that😂
keep Addie Larue!!! One of my all time favorite books. I am dying to go pick it up in paperback and do a re read!
Ok I'm keeping it!!
Ahh The Wisteria Society of Lady Scoundrels is so good! And there are two other books in the series!
OMG ok good to know!
I think you're going to adore Addie LaRue that book earned a tattoo for me(only my top books get tattoos)
I finished Caraval 2 weeks ago and immediately bought the next books 🤩 I didn't even expect to like Caraval after a failed attempt to read it 3 years ago 😶🌫
i'm currently on a no-buy because im saving up for a trip, so this REALLY helped curb my book appetite lmao.
Hahaha glad I could help😂♥️

keep addie larue!! it's so good!
💜💜
Happy Sunday!
Keep Addie Larue!! I gave it a 4.5. Loved the haul!
Ok yay I will!!

Yes I did read that!! Most of the books it spoils I've either read or have no intention on haha
@@CarterSullivan ok that’s good! 🤗

Frig why is every thriller lately feel like a disappointment😂
I think you should read his and hers next 🥰
OK 🫡
I loved Crying in H mart
What inch curler do you use? You have the perfect curl. ❤
Honestly I have no idea😅 Its a few years old from Marshalls!
💕💙
Your store has a lot of new titles. Do you have little free libraries in Canada?:
We have a few (my parents have one hehe)!
How many books are on your TBR? Inquiring minds need to know!
Probably 100 between physical books and my Kindle 💀💀💀

@@CarterSullivan That makes total sense! You can get cozier with a paperback than a hardcover.

OUUU pretty!
Do you sell your old books?
Anything over 4 stars I keep and anything 3 stars and under I donate!
Literally like, does anyone actually like CoHo? I've never met anyone who likes reading her books...
😂😂😂😂
Never never was my least favourite coho book I’ve read so far 😖
I mean every CohHo book I've either DNF'ed or given like 1-2 stars so I don't have high hopes anyways hahahahah
Love Coho haters
Not a hater, she just isn't for me! There's room for all authors💗

Oh thanks for the rec!!!!
Need to check that out myself. 😊
I DNFed Addie LaRue. 😬 and Really Good, Actually.
I checked out Really Good Actually audio book from the library….didn’t finish it. Could not get into it at all.
