Wholesaler + Fighting Stick combo? If I'm thinking about it right, all the XP up items purchased would give you a ton of stat up bonuses to offset any item penalties.

I'd be interested in seeing a "tank" run on this character, going for lots of paddings and maybe alien eyes. seems like one of the only characters that could maybe make it work
Would GMO work with this and if so, what about a Multitasker-Wholesaler run?

Got a wholesaler with Gatling Gun the other day.
Then I took Baby with a Beard. 12 times.
The game now lags from every enemy.
I just appreciate that you made sure the thumbnail only had 5 tentacles on it cause that’s the max…

I would love to see you take this version of wholesaler to endless mode. It would be a race to see who can out scale each other first? The scaling of the shop and enemies or would you be able to keep powering through until round 50 or 60 or even higher?
Most of your characters stopped in the 40s and seeing an insane run like that would be fun
You should try buying 12 lures, 36 crates in one stage is nothing to scoff at
Btw Reto, unique items should not give you a 10% attack damage penalty. Im pretty sure I recall you not getting a penalty when you did it previously as this character. (It also makes sense with the wording on the character as it says that you get the penalty when you wholesale, but if you buy one you are not 'wholesaling')
unique items definitely give you a 10% penalty. I've tested it.

The Believer can probably too get a lot of exp multiplier

Scar is the most efficient XP gain item , if you don't count late game Peacock
I'd love to see an engineering run with this character just filling the map with structures
