I like the stitch guide and all the floss. I do like a cute sticker too! I have a stash. For the cost and the projects I would give it a C. Prayers for you and your family.
I’m with you on the project. There are so many free patterns and tutorials for that pouch. For the cost I would expect premium fabrics and supplies to make the project….Unfortunately I bet the fancy box is what is costing. Overhead. Like you said how would you reuse it? I already have a ton of embroidery floss so that’s not really a win for me either. My grade is a D. Only because I liked the stitch guide.
Sending prayers to you and your family.. $80 is a No ma'am for me!! Yes the cost of everything is on the rise but at that price point they need to convince consumers why we should pay it vs just going to the quilt shop
I have not embroidered or cross stitched for 20 years. I thought about starting up again. Thanks for showing this box. The little book of stitches is a keeper.
For $80.00 I would expect more. I liked the last mending hearts box that you showed. The project is not my style, though I do like the glasses fabric and the floss. I’d have to give it a D.
i'm so sorry for your sister and family. Prayers going up. As for this box, based on my opinion and interests, I give it a D. This is to be a quilting box and it is 100% embroidery. And fyi, your hair looks so pretty today! Enjoy your day, my friend!
Oh Holly I am so sorry on the news about your sister. I will be praying for you and yours during this difficult time. I am disappointed with the box. This is a quilting box but the majority of the cost were the threads which I love. I will give this box a D.
I liked the embroidery booklet and would prob go looking for it if I ever decided to take up that hobby again. 40 + years ago my family made embroidery squares for each others kids! But I've started quilting now and wouldn't use any of those items, so I would give this box a D from me.
Would rate this one a C. Had high expectations, considering the price of the box. At least the embroidery floss was nice and could be used in multiple future projects.
Prayers to your sister/family. This was yet another box I would not invest in. I have never tried those flosses and I do a lot of embroidery so that might entice to buy them but would never have embroidered that sun on made the bag. Month after month this whole experience tells me I will probably never subscribe to boxes and just buy things I love. I'll give the box a C, underwhelmed at best.
Hugs to you and your family …. If I’m spending 80 bucks on a mystery box, it better WOW me every single time, and not some of the time. I was not wowed. Not even a lil. Mainly, because I don’t do embroidery. So, my grade is a D . The entire thing for me is a bust. Thanks for taking one for the team Holly!
Hi Holly🤗 I like the embroidery floss and the stitch guide! But I don't like the fabric and I'm sick of "bags", pouches...etc. I would count the floss as ONE notion. I give it a D. A "C" is average. Since this box is below average I gave it a"D"... Your hair sure looks pretty! XXXXXOOOOO Praying for your Sissy and you and your family❣ LOVE YA GIRL🥰
I can agree with you about this box. I also crosstitch as well as quilt and know that the auri floss is top of the line, but DMC is still great. I didn’t like the fabric and the project. I just think it should have had more quilting fabric and better projects. I’d give it a D as a grade. Sorry Holly. At least the thread is nice.
@@Charlie-cz3jh So...if it were for me....this would be a fail even though there was aurifil in the box. It said quilting box, not hand stitching. I also am not sure why the price is so high? Maybe the fancy box?
Hugs to you and your sister, Holly. I like the theme. Lots of embroidery stuff, but if I get a quilting box, I want quilting items. I wonder if other boxes have items that actually lead to a quilt. The whole thing is very meh to me. My favorite part is the sunglasses fabric and the floss. I guess you get a complete project, but it is not something I would want to make. C- for me
For this much money, there should be a tutorial because many people have not even attempted embroidery. I don’t think I would make the projects, but I would use the sticker. I give this one a D.
I thought the idea of subscription boxes was to pay $50 and get stuff that is worth more. I see that most of the boxes you open that isn't the case. I like that thread. It looks like the spools are wood.
The box...I think when products enter into a "deluxe" price range, I tend to really raise the bar on how critically I judge them. $80 is A LOT of money (for me) to be risking in unknown products, contents and projects. With that said, I think the quality is there and I love how it comes with all the necessary elements to complete it. *standing ovation!* I also love the cancel anytime and skip a month features. (because life happens) One drawback on the project this month is it suffers from having all the eggs in one basket. If you don't like bags...or you don't like embroidery, etc. there is nothing else to fall back on. It's a chance you take with these boxes BUT I don't have much of a gambling spirit and I'd rather do that at $50 than $80. Two points worth mentioning from my "pea brain"....I am also a scrapbooker/card maker and that handmade card is a BEAUTIFUL touch with many dimensional layers that I appreciate! BUT that box! I need to stop watching crime shows or something because it looks like something you would store someone's ashes in or perhaps bury a family pet! Totally creeps me out! LOL Still I give the box a B
Prayers for you and your family. As for Mending hearts box I would give it a D, it had nothing to do with quilting . My hands don’t work like they did when I was younger, couldn’t do anything from or with this box. Just saying ❤ much love
I'm hoping you and your family are doing ok and that strength, love and peace can be found. I'm with you on this box, although I give them D. I feel if you're marketing a deluxe, high end box there are some must have that should be provided. A fact sheet about the items, high quality unique project supplies and printed instructions. None of those are there so my graded review reflects that fact.
I do love a sticker. I thought the glasses fabric was kind of cute. The rest of the box is meh though. I would give this box a D, not my thing for the price.
They could have improved this box in a few ways. First of all needles are not expensive. Don't sticky dot a single needle to a pamphlet. For the $80 price point just include a small pack of embroidery needles. The thread was nice so no adjustments needed there. The fabric choice was not attractive in my opinion and would probably appeal to a fairly small amount of people. It looked like there was enough fabric for more than one bag so maybe provide smaller cuts of different fabric options so there are more options since not everyone has the same taste in fabric. For the embroidery design include a few different options. It would be so easy and cost basically nothing to include a couple different print off embroidery options to choose from and it would feel like you got a lot more. I also think it would be nice and increase the perceived value of the box if they included documentation of the included products. It makes things more personal too which is nice. Oh and a water soluble pen would have been a more useful addition than the plastic thread spools. The thread spools are really only useful if your thread comes as a skein like the DMC threads.
The embroidery thread is a win as well as the booklet if you're into embroidery, but everything else is a fail. How disappointing for the amount paid!! Grade D Thoughts and hugs to you and yours ❤️
Very disappointing box as far as I'm concerned! "C" is my vote for the entire box. This is something I would never make. So sorry about your sister and whatever it is that has happened in her life. Love to you both♥
Another box that I am under impressed with. I really liked the floss and fold out example booklet, but I really disliked the pattern they provided to embroider and I don’t think it coordinated with the provided fabric. That hoop is a throw away unless it’s turned into a craft project. I loved the actual box, looked sturdy, great to store your embroidery projects. Thinking of your family hope life gets kinder to all.
Embroidery with that as a pattern? On flimsy black fabric? That's going to be the side of a possibly well used bag? What if you have never embroidered before? Project fail on all levels. The floss and embroidery chart were awesome, if you already stitch though. But not for $80! Skipping my opinions on the fabric. D
I echo your comments and add on that this is an expensive zipper pouch. For me, would be nice if pattern fabric matched fabric received but understand why it didn’t for this box. D at best. Prayers for your sister Holly!
Prayers to you and your family. I wasn't impressed with the subscription box. The thread might be a wow factor but I don't like the fabric or project. It is costly..
I was not impressed with this box. I would love to try the embroidery thread, but that is the only nice thing in the box. I didn’t like the embroidery pattern or the fabric. It was way over priced. I give it a D+. If it was priced lower the grade would of been a little higher.
Not a box I would be happy with. I don’t know how to embroider, would like to learn so the floss and guide would be cool, but I don’t like the project at all. Does not seem worth the price to me either. I give it a C- as well!
I’d give this box a ‘D’ because of the price and the projects. No way would I embroider on a zipper pouch. The floss was pretty but not something I need. I’d rather spend the money in my local quilt shop. Everything in the box would go in my donate to charity bag. The box is beautiful, but it would be useful without that logo on the top. I sound quite negative I guess. But I just wasn’t interested in anything inside.
Okay, the hens and I are really not impressed with this one at all. The price is too high. I do both embroidery and cross stitch, but I don't want either in a sewing box. I also don't see the value in that box. Nope, the hens and I give it a D, and that's being generous. Hugs and blessings to you and your family!
I like the sunglass fabric.. it's cute. I do not think this qualifies as an $80 box. there are loads of free zipper pouch patterns and videos out there. I do not think its a good value for $$.
Really expensive for a small embroidery project. Is it supposed to be a quilting box or just a sewing box? Just to note if I bought this it would cost me 108 canadian dollars plus about 30 dollars shipping. It's a D for me value is really not therr
Wow the sound from unwrapping it was God awfu!! It's NOT ASMR I noticed that is an issue in most of your unboxing videos.. especially when there is cellophane baggies..alot of people suffer from auditory sensitivity.. if u absolutely MUST unwrap on camera ..consider muting or fast forwarding or both .. I am sure I'm not the only one who finds this a turn off and makes me not want to watch
what part of the box is quilting? is it just a sewing project subscription? I can't hand sew anything due to arthritis. I don't see 80 dollars of value even if I could. No sheet explaining the contents. No picture of the completed project that you could find. Cheapy zipper. etc. I'm a D vote since the fabric is even underwhelming. D because I'd be disappointed in the contents even if I'd paid 19.99 for it. It'd be an F but the thread was nice.
Can't watch the rest of the video. Don't like anything in the box. Price is ridiculous. If you have a category for secure wrapping, it would be way up there. It's a solid F in my book.
Sending prayers for your family sorrow. The box is very nice and would be good for storage. $80.00 is a lot for a box. The box does say quilting & boutique so I guess that is how you get around the just quilting stuff. Since the floss is already wound nicely on a spool, I don't see the value in re-winding it. I don't like the fabric. The embroidery design is not pretty. I would not do this project. The only nice thing I see in the box is the floss and the stitch guide. I don't see that this is worth $80.00 at all. I would give this box a "D-".
what if you don't like to embroider? I know I don't. If you subscribe to a quilting box and get _______. I am not impressed. Thumbs down from me, on the box not your video.
Hmmmm the bubble pack adds to this for me. I love to pop bubble pack 😂 But seriously, 80 bucks for a boxed zipper tote with lots of lipstick on the pig,it is still a pig. Wow, I am being cruel. If you are a handstitcher, this would be for you. It is not for me. Too expensive, when this probably could be made for 20 bucks without hand embroidery. F, not for this quilter. Gosh I have missed this 😂
Love and BIG {{{HUGS}}} from me to you and your family, will pray for you all. Not a fan of the box. I’m sorry you spent $80 on it, I really am. I’d think about canceling, but that’s just me. Here’s my two cents…. Sunglass fabric, ugly, I’d never use. Orange fabric, see above. Black, not as stated. Embroidery…..never gonna happen, so I’d never use the floss, hoop etc. sticker, meh Card, meh Might make the pouch, not for $80 though. Only useful things, to me, are the box everything came in and the embroidery stitch guide, not that I’d ever use the stitch guide. I wouldn’t pay $80 for those or $40 individually though, not in a million. I’d put contact paper on the lid of the box or decoupage it to cover all the brand stuff, unless I had an occasion to gift someone some things to help mend a heart. I have to give this box an F+ (is that a thing? Lol 😂 I’m making it one I guess 😉) Love you, love your videos! I start my day off watching your newest one or an older one if there isn’t a new one. Love that you do the deep breath and pause to send out good vibes to us. I do the same along with you. ❤️❤️❤️ We are getting 7” of snow they say Friday, so UA-cam (and you) will be my friend while the snow falls. Stay safe and healthy, Love from Chicagoland -L
Holly you were very kind in your assessment of this box. Prayers for you and your sister.
I like the stitch guide and all the floss. I do like a cute sticker too! I have a stash. For the cost and the projects I would give it a C. Prayers for you and your family.
Happy to see your smiling face
Hugs and prayers for you and your family.
Sending healing thoughts and hugs to you and your sister
Prayers for you and your family especially your sister. Hugs
C from me. I like embroidery and the floss and guide are great.
D for me. My sympathies to you and your family.
I just wouldn't be a happy peep had I bought this box.
D
Will say a prayer for your sister.
Prayers for your sister and your family.....

I have not embroidered or cross stitched for 20 years. I thought about starting up again. Thanks for showing this box. The little book of stitches is a keeper.

I would rate this as a C, I wouldn't do this project. And missing documentation is a minus for me.
For $80.00 I would expect more. I liked the last mending hearts box that you showed. The project is not my style, though I do like the glasses fabric and the floss. I’d have to give it a D.

Hugs Holly. F, they could have set us up with quality needles, hoop, and snips for future use even if their chosen design choices were not spot on.
This is what doesn’t make sense to me- you sign up for a quilting subscription and they send you embroidery things. Makes no sense.
XXXXXOOOOO

The black fabric looks like broadcloth (see through). Less expensive than regular cotton quilt fabric.
I would give this a 3 C-
I can agree with you about this box. I also crosstitch as well as quilt and know that the auri floss is top of the line, but DMC is still great. I didn’t like the fabric and the project. I just think it should have had more quilting fabric and better projects. I’d give it a D as a grade. Sorry Holly. At least the thread is nice.
This is a lovely box container. That would be my favorite part. I don't feel I could vote since I mostly just like quilting and machine only.
That doesn't matter. VOTE! 😃
@@Charlie-cz3jh So...if it were for me....this would be a fail even though there was aurifil in the box. It said quilting box, not hand stitching. I also am not sure why the price is so high? Maybe the fancy box?
Unimpressed with this box! Too expensive for what you get! It gets a D from me. Loved the stitch guide. ❤
Probably 11 notions? Needle too? This was a d for me

It's a beautiful box, but I'm sure that it's a good chunk of change. I'd rather another notion or some more fabric.
Prayers for your sister. Definitely c- for this box and that being nice. Lol the price is a big NO for me , not worth it.

beautiful presentation. Loved the floss and stitch card. However the project was rather underwhelming. D for me.

Prayers to you and your family. I wasn't impressed with the subscription box. The thread might be a wow factor but I don't like the fabric or project. It is costly..
If you are a quilter, buying a quilting box it should be for quilting. Don't they have kit clubs for needlework? $80 , no, no, Nope, D for me.
Disappointed in this one, I really liked their last book themed one. Definitely want written directions.
$80? Wow!?Boo. Not a good box! Zipper pouch? Really? It’s a D for me.
Prayers for your sister. Box is too expensive. I was not impressed. I give this box a D.

A big flop. I give it a C-. The Aurifloss is the most exciting thing in the box. Be well and hug your sister for me.
I don’t have $80 to spare in my monthly budget. But, if I did, would not subscribe to this box. Not interested in embroidery. Solid D.
I don’t even know where to start, so I’ll just say D. This battle is starting out 👎 for me.
I’m sorry you had bad news yesterday.
The floss and guide are nice. Not enough fabric and the project is just okay. Seems way overpriced
I’d give this box a ‘D’ because of the price and the projects. No way would I embroider on a zipper pouch. The floss was pretty but not something I need. Hugs and blessings to you and your family!
Looking forward to when we finally get a "hen approved" box! 😄
@Holly Schmidt the girls are very picky! 🤣
I couldn’t dislike a fabric more, and that’s the worst embroidery pattern I’ve ever seen. A solid D from me.
I do not embroider and this box does not make me want to learn. Plus, the price point is too high. I give it a D.
I like the sunglass fabric.. it's cute. I do not think this qualifies as an $80 box. there are loads of free zipper pouch patterns and videos out there. I do not think its a good value for $$.

Uuuhhh...like the idea of the box but should have hzd a much better embrodiery themed pattern. $80 is too much...
I don't think that box is worth the money you spent. I give it a C rating
I don't see that this is worth $80.00 at all. I would give this box a "D-".
I was thinking that about the floss, too. It's so nicely wound on those wooden spools, why would you unspool it and use those plastic things?
No value here for 80 dollars. I give this box a D. Embroidery is gaining popularity, but this project does not inspire me.
what if you don't like to embroider? I know I don't. If you subscribe to a quilting box and get _______. I am not impressed. Thumbs down from me, on the box not your video.
Not impressed. I would give it a "D".
Not impressed..C-

Love and BIG {{{HUGS}}} from me to you and your family, will pray for you all.
Not a fan of the box. I’m sorry you spent $80 on it, I really am. I’d think about canceling, but that’s just me. Here’s my two cents….
Sunglass fabric, ugly, I’d never use.
Orange fabric, see above.
Black, not as stated.
Embroidery…..never gonna happen, so I’d never use the floss, hoop etc.
sticker, meh
Card, meh
Might make the pouch, not for $80 though.
Lol 😂 I’m making it one I guess 😉)
Love you, love your videos! I start my day off watching your newest one or an older one if there isn’t a new one. Love that you do the deep breath and pause to send out good vibes to us. I do the same along with you. ❤️❤️❤️
We are getting 7” of snow they say Friday, so UA-cam (and you) will be my friend while the snow falls.
Stay safe and healthy,
Love from Chicagoland
