The best nature walk spot in Japan is Oirase Gorge!

2On August 18, 2024, I took a walk along the Oirase Gorge.
Lake Towada straddles both Aomori and Akita prefectures.
And then there's Oirase Gorge, which flows for about 14km from Lake Towada's Nenokuchi to Yakeyama.
Lake Towada and Oirase Gorge are some of the most scenic spots in Towada-Hachimantai National Park.
It's also known as a famous spot for viewing fresh greenery and autumn leaves, and during the seasons it's especially crowded with people who come to enjoy the four seasons and those who come to relax and healed from the fatigue of everyday life.
