Although i guess depending on the tafe course they are totally different. Failed both cert 3 in accounting and cert 3 in computing. Went and did a cert 3 drone piloting course and got literally every question right. 100% in every exam 😂

A lecturer might end up on probation for moving a due date up. The course outline is considered to be nearly a binding contract, that's why they go through it painfully slow in the first lecture

fr uni is so expensive, im taking a class rn the contents of which you could learn instantly while skimreading some website and it costed a grand even though there's barely any contact hours
u pay for the bit of paper at the end lol. u can learn all the stuff online but you wont be recognized for it when trying to get a job
yeh and you don't meet anyone really too, in Australia at least. Been at uni for 2 years now and haven't 'met' anyone at all really. Will talk to them for 40 mins a week and after the semester is done never speak to them again.n

i go to a private arts uni and funnily enough, it's more like highschool in this video. my lecturers always let us know when assignments are gonna be due, helps us in class, etc. although the fees are insane and the age variety in my class is pretty crazy so you got that spot on 💀
Private uni's tend to be a different breed, you just pay a truly stupidly high amount to go. The vid is pretty accurate to most major Public uni's, usually the more historically prestigious it is the more shit your experience will be.

@@habibi_sport312 Australia has very few private universities. In Victoria I think Torrens university might be one of the few private universities. The majority of universities are public. So Melbourne, RMIT, Monash, Latrobe, Deakin, Swinburne are all public universities. Even the smaller ones like Southern Cross University are public
Did you go to a private high school or a public high school? Because I went to a public high school, and from what I've heard (in Australia at least), teachers in public schools don't really help out the students much so they become more self reliant and find the transition to uni relatively easy. But on the other hand, students who went to private schools get keeps of help from teachers, but then once they get to uni feel they've been left behind as most university tutors don't have the same time/resources to help students as private school teachers do.
Been to both and there isn't rlly a dif in Australia. Tbh I think private schoolers would do better because they get can develop their skills (a bit) more
I am from the US most of the tutors where also students working for the institution don’t know how they found the time to work on there classes as well as help others they had like no free time
I think getting more help from teachers during high school helps with improving marks and ATAR, which is a big focus for private schools
I’m pretty sure in a 10k special he did with his sister a while back he said he went to xavier college. They’re a religious boys only private school
