@heaven sent right?! It feels like yesterday I saw the video of her in the hospital, visibly upset and it broke my heart. But God definitely redeemed their situation and gave them a beautiful blessing!💙
Honestly love how comfortable you are with talking about sex, including pregnancy sex, just goes to show how mature you are and such a good role model by not shying away from the subject and talking about it so respectfully,, so much love to you!! I hope you guys get the house of your dreams soon , I just know it'll be something special that your little boy will always talk about when he's older ☺️ 💜
Especially as a Christian! Christians are told for so long “don’t have sex” “sex is bad” blah blah blah and I think a lot of Christians or anyone who waits until marriage gets a skewed view of sex. And then it’s even more difficult to talk about.
i love that she doesn’t shy away from talking about sex just bc she’s a christian. as a christian myself, who isn’t married, i really am nervous to get married so her talking about it is actually really helpful
I always hated when I heard “don’t get stressed, it’s bad for the baby!” When in reality, every woman has stress and worries during pregnancy. Just allow those thoughts to pass through you! It’s holding onto them that allows the negativity to fester. Just think, one year from now you’ll be in the home of your dreams cuddling your sweet baby. 🥰
I love how open you are about sex......’some Christians think talking about sex is sooooo “inappropriate” to have conversation about online but it’s not it’s beautiful and it’s something we all do and it’s insightful
That’s because some of us are very private when it comes to sex. It’s between us and our boo. It’s sacred, intimate, and the one thing (other than kissing mouth to mouth of course) that you get to do with them and ONLY them.
Sarah Lavonne the nurse doula says if you’re coping with the pain, continue unmedicated. If you feel like you’re suffering then get the epi. That mindset helped me sooo much both births.
Right!! Before I even got to the hospital my contractions were sooooo bad I was crying with each one. Once I finally went in I found out it was bc he was on his side which was making things difficult. And I didn’t have him for almost 24 hours after! Cannot imagine doing that without an epidural
I would never do an unmedicated birth lol I've been through 2 and my epidural stopped working at 10 cm and thought I was going to die. Luckily the anesthesiologist came in 10 mins before I pushed and redid the meds bc good lord.
@@fonjadidi This is actually a myth! You can get an epidural anytime, even right before you give birth - however it may not kick in in time before you push lol you only need to get it about 20-30 minutes before you push so it will be fully kicked in before pushing
My ONLY tip for birth planning is to be as flexible as possible. It's obviously important to have goals but if they need to change, go with it! Remember that your desired birth experience matters but the end goal of health and safety of babe matter much more ❤️
Yes this! This mindset helped me so much and I had an unplanned c-section. I feel l wasn’t disappointed in having one because I knew I was open to it if it needed to happen
When you begin to feel a Charlie horse coming on, immediately FLEX your foot up. Act like you’re pointing all the way up at the sky with your toes and hold it tight. It will tighten your muscles and it won’t let that sharp pain come into your leg.... My mom taught me this. It works every time
I had my first baby 7 months ago unmedicated and all I can say is, you can do it! Although it’s painful, it’s such a natural and meaningful pain. I personally loved being able to feel every contraction and every push, knowing what my body was doing and letting it do what it was meant to do! Trust yourself, your body is amazing ❤️
i’m 19 and not planning on having kids for a while but this is exactly how i feel like i want to know and feel everything that my body is doing and yes it will be painful but i wanna feel more in control ❤️ congrats on your baby
This is what my mom said too.. she had 2 -sections and then to natural unmediated births and she totally recommends it.. I was going to try but wound up having to have c-sections with all three of my kids so I didn’t get a chance too 😏
I also had my baby 7 months ago unmedicated!! You can do this! While I was coping with contractions, my husband was praying in tongues asking to God to give me strenght and He surely did!!
I had an unmediated birth in December and it was so EMPOWERING! My entire pregnancy I prayed so much about my birth and read as much as I could about labor/birth. If I could give any tips it would be to focus on breathing, remember that your mind is more powerful than the pain, and that each contraction brings you closer to your baby. 🥰 It’s the most rewarding pain, I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
Same!!! I’ve had two! So glad to see the positivity here. It’s what our bodies are meant to do!! You’ve got this!💪 A huge plus is that natural births are generally so much quicker!!
Every time I hear a mama say they want to have an unmedicated birth I overwhelming tell them they can do it! When I would tell people my plan I heard so much negativity. “Yeah you’ll see” “wait until the contractions start” and it was so disheartening. I’ve loved seeing so much positivity here for Kristin!

KRISTIN!!!! THE CHARLY HORSES WERE CHRONIC FOR ME AND I GOT THEM ALMOST EVERY NIGHT! Let me save you! I used to take a tums before bed and drink half a bottle of water. No joke this would make them not come at all! Don't know why it worked but I swear it NEVER failed. I had the same experience, I'd scream in pain and be sore for hours so please try this and tell me if it works for you too!
Hi! I have a degree in kinesiology and health science! Antacids (like tums) are high in calcium carbonate and calcium carbonate is needed by muscles in order for them to contract properly. Therefore, taking tums could help prevent muscle twinges/cramps! Hydration also helps as well! You should try this if you want, Kristin :)

Ina May’s guide to child birth helped me prepare for my natural unmedicated home birth with my midwife SO MUCH. There are so many birth stories told by many different women with so many different experiences. It was so incredibly helpful leading up to the birth. Can’t recommend enough!
My sister was recently pregnant and thought she had sciatica, but it ended up being that the baby was resting on her tailbone for the longest time. She got a really bad bone bruise and painful back labor bc of it. I would seriously recommend getting it checked out just to make sure, bc there are stretches you can do to alleviate the pain! ❤️

I recently had a baby boy (11 weeks ago) and the best piece of advice I would give to any mom to be going into labor is to relax. Relaxing is hard but I read somewhere that fear slows everything down and it is so true. God will be with you in that room and whatever happens, happens. Just take huge, deep breaths and mentally prepare yourself when you feel a contraction. It’s easier said than done but it’s true. I remember tensing up so much with the first contractions and I relaxed my body and let the contractions course through me and I ended up dilating from a 1 to a 10 in like 2 hours and pushed for 5 minutes (this is my first baby). Good luck girl, you will get through it!!
Kristin, you are glowing! I pray for you guys, that you would find the perfect little house before the baby arrives. Sending you much love from Turkey 🤍✨
Something that helped me with my unmedicated birth is to rewire my thinking when it comes to the pain. Instead of calling it pain just call it intense or waves of intensity. I know it sounds silly but it totally helped me!!
It's so lovely being pregnant (with a boy as well 💙) at the same time as you; just 5 weeks behind you! Especially during this time of solitude, it makes me feel so comforted seeing and hearing your journey as I'm just a few steps behind. ☺️💙
I really hope that you get your house before the baby comes but if not...it’s an adventure and reminds me of Lorelei and Rory living in a hotel when she’s first born :)
Just had my first baby (baby boy 🥰) in November. Totally unmedicated, it was a goal of mine. You got this! Something to know that no one told me: when you get to the point you feel like you absolute cannot keep going with no medicine, that means baby is about to come out! That’s how the doctor/nurses/midwife knows it’s almost go time.
This video is so calming to watch. I feel like I’ve always been afraid of pregnancy and birth but you being honest and calm while talking about it is reassuring 🥰
Currently house hunting with my husband as well. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions. This is a really hard market right now for buyers. We just keeping praying and trusting that God has the right house out there for us. We tell each other “our dream house it out there; it’s just not on the market today.” Wishing you a happy hunt and a smooth transition to your new home. Xx
I’ve never been pregnant so not sure if this will help, but I would often get Charlie horses in my calf in the morning and eating bananas can really help! A lot of the time those morning Charlie horses especially in the calves are a sign of low potassium magnesium or calcium! Can’t hurt to try!
I live in middle TN and the market is crazy. I totally understand where you’re coming from with it being hard not to have a space to prepare for a baby. 🙏
Definitely don’t limit yourself. Go with it and trust your gut. With my daughter I didn’t have an epidural and with my son I did and having my son was much more enjoyable, relaxing and peaceful than having my daughter
For charlie horses//pulled leg muscles!!! Flex your toes upwards towards your shins so its stretching the back of your calf. It instantly stops a charlie horse from happening. Someone shared this with me and it helps so much. You are glowing as always Kristin
praying that you find a home shortly & feel less stress once baby is here. it will all be worth it you are doing sooo amazing. super proud of you and how far you have come. i have watched your videos since you were in college and i love seeing you grow as a person and now grow a family of your own. you are truly an inspiration kristin
Wishing you love and the best of luck in your final trimester, Kristen! As a student nurse on labor and delivery units, I just want to remind you that if at any point the pain is too much to bear, there is no shame at all in having the epidural! All you get without it is the right to brag lol stay true to yourself and trust God through the whole process. Xoxoxox from Pittsburgh ❤️!
This really relates to how my lifestyle is at the moment I’m in a place temporarily but i know things will fall into place we just can’t stress ourselves peace within can translate to peace within the universe around us we have to be positive especially during this time of creating our little one! This was so positive to see thanks for the real ness in your video🧡
Thank you so much for talking about the grace you’ve given yourself and trying to be gentle with all the body changes! I’m 21 weeks and feeing similarly
Love your birth plan!! I work with a midwife client and have learned so much about birthing options from her. I’ll be praying for a smooth and safe delivery for you! 🤍🤍
2 unmedicated birth center babies for me! It was amazing, intense, beautiful, and horrible all at the same time. But it doesn’t last it’s temporary and you really truly do forget the pain.
You are so fricken beautiful !!!!! So happy for you guys & I can’t wait to see how cute this little guy is gonna be. Praying that your family will continue to be blessed ❤️
Total props to anyone who wants an unmedicated birth! As a nurse, I would just encourage you to be flexible because anything could happen and you might change your mind, and that might give you some anxiety. So I’d just encourage flexibility! I’d also encourage you to make sure you’re getting enough electrolytes because those can help with the cramps in your leg!
So excited for you and Marcus, you’ll be the best boy parents! You are absolutely glowing, Kristin. Recently went through pregnancy and my body changed SO much so I totally feel where you’re coming from when you have harder days. Becoming a mama is such a journey. We love you guys and are praying you find your house so so soon ❤️
It's sooooo crazy to think of the pain you guys were both in this time last year and the immense happiness you guys are in now. And if thats not a testament to how great God is and what he can do for your life, I dont know what is. I am a billion percent certain that he has the best plan for your home situation and that everything will work out better than either of you could dream, but I will keep sending prayers for you guys to have some comfort. Also I know that it's your body and everyone is going to think about their body in their own way no matter what anyone tells them, but I think you gaining a little weight in your face especially is soooo cute on you. When you lost all the weight after the accident I was so worried about you and not being able to eat or being too sad to have any type of appetite. I'm so happy that this season has come for you and that it's allowed so much healing. Also I don't know, I've just always loved people with chubby cheeks and rounder faces, and especially babies like that, which I'm sure yours will be so healthy and beautiful ❤ you are absolutely the sweetest person, along with lexy, and I hope you guys are always this happy 🥰 love you guys
Gave birth to my first one almost 3 months ago all natural and although it was painful it was so rewarding knowing I did this unmedicated and it makes you realize your body is amazing and capable of so much. You can do this!!🎉🤍
As someone who had an unmedicated birth, YOU CAN DO THIS. your body is capable, you just have to trust yourself and trust your baby. You got this Kristin🤍
I also had unmedicated and I completely agree! You can do it!! It’s more of a mental strength than a “pain tolerance” thing in my opinion! I recommend❤️
I would love to have an unmedicated birth🥰 especially without an epidural. I just want to have control over my body. Epidurals scare the hell out of me😱
kristin, i’m so proud of u ! uve grown so much ! I remember watching when u & marcus first started dating. u were so cute and shy. and look at u now ! so beautiful and strong !
the BEST thing to do for charlie horses is to put pressure on it! so if you have a charlie horse in your leg or your foot, stand up putting all of your weight on that leg! i know it might sound crazy but it seriously works instantly!
I had an unmedicated birth for my 2nd child & it was the best experience!! My top tip is to PREPARE. Prepare for how to recognize what stage of labor you’re in, bc otherwise you could start panicking during transition if you don’t realize you’re actually at the very end. I repeated this quote to myself and it helped me be strong: “The pain cannot be greater than you because the pain IS you.” Trust your body, girl. The pain of labor is a good thing....unlike those stupid Charlie Horses. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m enjoying being on this journey with you! I’m 29 weeks 2 days with a baby boy. I’m also a first time Mum and just moved from LA to the country. So many emotions I can relate to! Fear, anxiety, stress, excitement! This last year or so has been a wild ride to say the least!!😆😊
I am so happy for you!!! I am in my second trimester and have been getting Charlie horses in my legs too! Someone told me being dehydrated can cause them, so I have been drinking lot of water!! Stay Hydrated Mama!
praying for you, kris!!! 🤍 i could see the unsettled-ness in your eyes when you were taking about not finding a house yet, but like you said God knows when and where! you got this! we love you!!!
I'm not pregnant but I used to get terrible charlie horses in the middle of the night. I've never heard anyone else describe the intensity like you did in this video. I haven't had one in years but man, I went through a couple years where it happened a bunch and I would wake up in tears because of it.
Cannot believe today marks a year since your accident, and here you are just a few months away from having a baby boy🥺♥️God is so good!

Saaammmeee 😂
No one is talking about how hilarious was the way Camper enter to the room🤣 I LOVE IT
When was that? 😂
Kristin, you are glowing! I pray for you guys, that you would find the perfect little house before the baby arrives. Sending you much love from Turkey 🤍✨
Praying for your house situation and that you can rest in the Lord! God is never late or early - he is always right on time ❤️
Something that helped me with my unmedicated birth is to rewire my thinking when it comes to the pain.
you are always glowing but my Lord you are such a beautiful mamma i’m so excited for y’all
I really hope that you get your house before the baby comes but if not...it’s an adventure and reminds me of Lorelei and Rory living in a hotel when she’s first born :)
Awww that’s such a good connection! I love that!
The pregnancy glow is real
Im due in August, also with a baby boy; watching your videos is so comforting. Like a sister giving me advice. 🤍
Honestly sometimes I watch your beginning videos of when you were in college cuz that's where I am in life 😂
Yes !!
Yes! Same! I love going back and watching the old videos!
God is good 🤎 I'm so sorry about the accident so glad your doing great wishing the best for your family and your little baby 👶🏼 love u Kristin Xx
I love your videos and how open you are about your life. You feel like a close gal friend and I've loved seeing how God's working in your life!
Love you so much Kristin! You will be the most loving mom ever! 💛
Currently house hunting with my husband as well. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions. This is a really hard market right now for buyers. We just keeping praying and trusting that God has the right house out there for us. We tell each other “our dream house it out there; it’s just not on the market today.”
Wishing you a happy hunt and a smooth transition to your new home. Xx
You are glowing so much girl!!! 🤩🤩🤩
I’ve never been pregnant so not sure if this will help, but I would often get Charlie horses in my calf in the morning and eating bananas can really help! A lot of the time those morning Charlie horses especially in the calves are a sign of low potassium magnesium or calcium! Can’t hurt to try!
Same thing used to happen to me until I started using sea salt Magnesium water. Definitely could be a magnesium deficiency
Can’t wait to welcome baby Johns 👶🏻🍼
I’m not pregnant, but you better bet I clicked this video as soon as I saw it!
I can only recommend reading Ina May’s Guide to childbirth, it’s mostly positive stories about natural births
I love how open and honest you are!!
I love you guys. I feel like I know you, and seeing you evolve and make a family is just amazing.
I'm a few seconds in... based on the thumbnail, I'm so interested to see how bold/honest/open Kristin will be here 😁
So excited for you and Marcus, you’ll be the best boy parents! You are absolutely glowing, Kristin. Recently went through pregnancy and my body changed SO much so I totally feel where you’re coming from when you have harder days. Becoming a mama is such a journey. We love you guys and are praying you find your house so so soon ❤️
Marcus is so funny barging in to show off his boots. 🤣
You are a warrior girl. I am 7 weeks and hoping to do this!
YES!
I also had unmedicated and I completely agree! You can do it!! It’s more of a mental strength than a “pain tolerance” thing in my opinion! I recommend❤️
Yes all 4 of my births were unmedicated and honestly the fourth I barely felt any pain (not joking!!)
There's this energy that you radiate that is so happy, contagious and lovely. I pray for you to find the most beautiful and fitting house 🏡💕
you are such a role model. thanks for that 🥰
I’m not surprised at all that Marcus’s baby can’t stop moving! I’m sure that baby will be jumping up and down by the end of your third!!!
Love you so much Kristen. You’re glowing! Can’t wait to see your little babe, you and Marcus will be the best parents ever 💛
ahhh time is flying by !!! I’M SO EXCITED FOR BABY JOHNS 🥰
praying for you, kris!!!
I loved the honesty about being intimate while pregnant! Thank you being open about that :)
Celebrating your life today! God is good!❤️❤️ and we love you Kristin!
Praying for you, Marcus and your beautiful baby boy!🥰🥰🥰
LIFE is beautiful! God bless you and your bb boy!!
you are going to be the most amazing mom. you already are the most amazing mom
You definitely have the pregnancy GLOW 🤩
Honey in the background makes my day 🥺
Girl, the biggest life saver is if you get a Charlie horse in your calf, walk backwards. It completely goes away immediately and it is a life saver!
