      Sounds like a grammar teacher correction to me. I’m a grammar teacher. I’m here to learn woodworking skills, so I watch a lot of people. Everyone is a little different, so that way I learn more. I thought this woodworker did a nice job. I’d love to have him put in my wood countertops.

    Just an FYI that would make your channel even better! Is if you could list all the tools that you use at the bottom. I noticed you used many different tools. And it would just make it so much easier. You Rock! Thx

    Did you pull the pattern plywood off before installing the butcher block?

    • @ChrisPowellFSD
      @ChrisPowellFSD  3 роки тому

      Yes. It’s just used to transfer the outline.

    Hi, what did you use to seal the sink to the counter? I have silicone and its not working well. Suggestions?

    • @ChrisPowellFSD
      @ChrisPowellFSD  2 роки тому +1

      I used this. amzn.to/3nIyU1q I put it under the counter so it would cover the edge of the sink and then sealed around the sink with it also. It’s holding up great.

    I'm not sure if it's entirely clear from the voice-over that you're using the pen body to scribe a shape (the sink, the wall) onto the plywood.

    • @ChrisPowellFSD
      @ChrisPowellFSD  Рік тому

      Yea I’m using the pen to mark the outline

      @pmcgee003 Рік тому

      @@ChrisPowellFSD right, but with the outer shell of the pen creating a constant offset from the reference piece, I think ... ?

    Where did you source the butcher block from and what is the size? Thanks!

    • @ChrisPowellFSD
      @ChrisPowellFSD  3 роки тому

      I got it from Lowe’s. It was 74x39”. They have a few different sizes.

    How many inches the sink needs to come out the front park from the cabinet?

    • @ChrisPowellFSD
      @ChrisPowellFSD  3 роки тому +1

      That’s a personal preference. I did 1-1/4” from the face frame.

    Isn't the END GRAIN absorbent and not advisable on a farm sink install???

    • @ChrisPowellFSD
      @ChrisPowellFSD  Рік тому +1

      I mean you’d have to have end grain somewhere…
