    This is leadership on a guttural, fundamental level. Coaches can’t play the game themselves and he knows who his leaders are on the team and within the organization because real knows real. He’ll get the buy-in over time. He’s driven to win.

    I wish I was still 20 years old and could play for this guy! He is One fierce competitor. Just think if all of the Riley players got behind him. I know that's exactly what he was alluding to in the post-game interview, but he had too much class to call them out. Gentlemen, Riley has moved on, let him go. Just give Coach Frost a hundred and ten percent and you won't regret it! He was the only choice to become our head coach and he still is. Now, let's git-r-done and let Husker Nation stay strong. GBR

    Even after our loss to Wisconsin, I’m so glad Frost is here. I’m starting to see the potential we have. We did pretty good against a ranked Wisconsin team considering the recent culture change. Just listening to him speak, he’s obviously passionate about his team and home. He’s not just here, slandering anyone like, ahem, Pelini. He’s holding people accountable. Because of that, Nebraska is going to look good losing a few more until our defense is stopping the run game and making stops on 3rd and short.
    I love the no B.S. attitude Scott Frost has, it makes me feel good as a fan. I’m sure there are the naysayers and skeptics (especially in the media) but we are taking this ride whether we like it or not. At the end of the year I think we’ll end in a high note that will look promising for next season regardless if we end up with a losing record or winless.
    We had a lot of good players leave. So times are tough. But hitting rock bottom is sometimes what we need to find that Husker pride again.
    Building a solid foundation is a must for any good football program. Quite frankly we haven’t had a steady program since Osborne. Nor have we had a coach who could handle the pressure of coaching here. So to all other Nebraska fans, I hope you give him a break and deal with our future losses humbly. We are all in this together. It’s time we reflect back on what Husker football is all about.
    Yea it’s tough to watch, but boy it’s going to be joyous when we’re stomping mud holes in their asses next year.

    A team is only good as its weakest link. Nebraska has some great players, but you don't win the big games with a few great players. You win by not having any bad ones. It will take some time to get some of these people out of the system (graduate them, replace them, etc) but it will happen in time.

    Good god give the guy a break everybody was calling for Osbournes head in the 70's and 80's and he didn't have to rebuild the entire program these guys have to learn to win again to win they have to believe in themselves and their coaches do you want Callahan back neither do the raiders. Scott Frost could have stayed in Florida that would have been easy it took alot of courage to accept the challenge he has he knows it's an honor he values tradition he is probably the only one who has the heart to teach these players what it's all about. Anybody remember playing florida st for the championship as a 19 point underdog those guys felt insulted by the spread. They played for respect they got it they didn't win the game but they earned the respect that nobody gave them before the game the next season was for unfinished business. So back off and let him do his thing he's an awesome coach and one tough SOB

    Texas has had a losing culture for a long time. Nebraska will turn it around, but Scott has to get many of his own players in there and he might have to clean house after the season. Speaking as a Longhorn fan who saw my program as hopeless and a has been, you will turn the corner with this guy if you stay the course and don't fold to the pressure of the next hot young up and coming coach. this may be a painful process but it will get corrected with Scott Frost.

    • @bryceharris2175
      @bryceharris2175 6 років тому

      I think Nebraska's situation is worse than Texas'. Yes, we've been in a slump the past 7 seasons but the talent was always there it's just that coaches never quite put it together. Tom has already made huge strides for this team and we are playing better than we have in a while and are at least relevant. Give Tom another two years maybe even one and we'll be back to prominence and honestly, we would already be there if it wasn't for our mediocre quarterbacks. But Nebraska hasn't really been a consistent powerhouse since the 90's and Frost has really inherited a mess I believe Frost is gonna turn it around but it's gonna be a long painful process.

    • @1977seabiscuit
      @1977seabiscuit 6 років тому +1

      great points. I think what will really hurt them is not recruiting Texas since leaving the Big XII. They are now trying to get into Pennsylvania and Ohio and those aren't good recruiting bases for them. They are going to have to search under rocks to find what they need, whereas Texas still recruits their home state well. In my honest opinion UN shouldn't have left the Big XII. But, I think Frost should be trusted. Maybe he can dip into Florida.
