Welcome to Outdoor Indoor Texan. In this video, we're walking through how to make an easy homemade hot sauce that will cure your garlic cravings with a kick of heat! We go over how to properly prep the main ingredients, how to blend the sauce, and I even share a couple of hot tips when it comes to bottling hot sauce, so make sure to watch all the way to the end.
This sauce is easy to make, and goes great on just about anything that needs a dash of garlic and spice. The hot sauce bottles I use are perfect for gifting this sauce to your friends, or hoarding for yourself so you'll never run out! 📝 Ingredients:
8 Habanero peppers (remove stems and cut in half)
20-25 cloves of peeled garlic
2 cups of white vinegar
1 small yellow onion
1 lime
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. kosher salt
Supplies:
Food processor or blender
Sharp knife
Funnel
Hot sauce bottle(s)
Measuring cup
Measuring spoons

I came up with a similar recipe that my coworkers seemed to enjoy but I didn't use sugar or lime. I think this will elevate what I did. I'd love to try out your recipe but most of my kitchen gear is in storage (long story.)
The lime marries well to the habanero fruit notes and the sugar does a good job of mellowing out the overall heat, but I bet it’s pretty tasty without. This is a great building block recipe, that you can really go wild with from here. I hope you get your gear out soon and get a chance to get back to tinkering. Thanks for swinging by as always!
