    If you've got a dehydrator, a good option is to dehydrate what was strained off from the cayenne sauce and grind it up as a spice blend.

    Thanks buddy from South Africa, would be a bit expensive to order a bottle of your source but will try and do the same here, do you think it will enhance the flavor if you ferment the cayenne peppers after they were smoked?

    • @virginiagraceliving
      @virginiagraceliving  Рік тому

      I'd recommend fermenting and adding smoked peppers at the end. The smoking process is antimicrobial and doesn't lend to fermentation well.

    Hi. Phil from Alabama Hot Sauce. I really enjoyed your video. Smoking Cayenne pepper makes a great sauce. Like you, I believe greens and beans would not be the same without some hot sauce. Thank you for taking the time to make a great video. It got you a subscriber. Again, thank you.

    We’ll done, very well done. Next time… get yourself a cookie cooling rack. Place it on you smoker/grill. I swear, it works great for smoking pepper!😊

    What ratio of water to vinegar are you using and what’s the ph level the ratio?

    • @virginiagraceliving
      @virginiagraceliving  3 роки тому +2

      I didnt ph test and recommend refrigeration. They very well could be shelf stable but without testing I just store in the fridge. All of those bottles went out to friends and family and were used way before they could go bad.
