That way we can KNOW WHO we are hearing from, and maybe you'll learn that Jesus warned you many times to beware of people who speak for God and try to do a better job on His Word than the Holy Spirit and by scholarship. Study 2nd Tim 4:3-4 example. Without TRUTH what good is this "stepping out boldly" stuff? Mormons and JWs do that very well!!!
Are you hearing from the Lord? And I'm not being wise, I am sincerely asking, for I do not know you. We can all hear the Lord. I am a newer believer of our Lord Jesus Christ. If there is something that I said that can not be found in truth, I am open for correction. I believe we are to correct with compassion. I am far from perfect and have made plenty of mistakes in my life. The Lord is teaching me and guiding me. He is teaching me to abide in Him. He is teaching me how to love. We all need to learn how to love and be loved. God is love. God sent his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jesus Christ came in the flesh. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He is the light of the world. We all need Him and His encouragement. We all need to seek Jesus with all of our heart ❤️. We all need to learn how to live according to the spirit. As far as looking at 2 Timothy 4:3-4... I believe he is speaking on someone teaching a false doctrine. Examples: Denying the deity of Christ Denying Jesus' virgin birth Denying Jesus' sinless nature Denying Jesus' death Denying Jesus' resurrection Teaching that human religious works are all that will save you. Just to name a few. Doctrine is truth that comes from the Word of God that we should construct our life upon. Isn't it? We should be helping each other in keeping our eyes focused on Jesus Christ, He is the way, the truth, and the life. May God bless you.
