    Sorry, my internet has been very slow lately. I was in Suriname for 8 days, now I am in Guyana. And my internet sucks. I have to use this video which I already uploaded.

      I think Aruba and Curacao didn't have any problems, they are near Venezuela, but some of the places I was going to go, such as St Maarten and Anguilla got hit. Those places usually suffer and take awhile to fix everything, so now I have to choose a different path for my travels. Next week I'll be in Tobago and Trinidad. If the weather sucks there I just won't stay long.

      I've been to those places before. If Cuba gets damaged it would take forever for them to fix everything. That is not a good time to go. Anguilla had one of the best beaches in the world but a big hurricane ruined their beaches. Now they are getting hit again.

    That place fascinates me since I am a child but never made it to Curacao. You are flying for 10 hours but you are still in the Netherlands. I have a KLM voucher left due to Covid. Since I don't believe I can travel to Korea in 2021 as planned, I think I will go for Curacao finanally next year.

      I use my T-Mobile from the US everywhere. But in the last year they made the internet very slow. I was thinking about trying the Project Fi myself. But T-Mobile does work in most of the world. But the internet is slow.

    Where is all the tourist? Is this in the morning?

    • @RichardsWorld
      @RichardsWorld  7 років тому

      I usually start about 1-2PM for videos like this. This day didn't have a cruise ship. I think these shops depend on cruise ships. Some of the areas have a nice crowd at night, especially on the weekends. For a couple days there was no cruise ship. There was only a weird looking ship in the port. I don't know what kind of ship it was.

    • @iTzsimplefx7
      @iTzsimplefx7 7 років тому

      It depends because at the end of the month its always packed and this was in Punda, Otrobanda is always busy, Punda gets busy mostly at noon, night hours.i wouldn't say the shops depend on ships but yes they need them.Also i see this was august which means people are on vacation still and school is about to begin so everyone is getting ready for school etc.

    • @bjornmuskus634
      @bjornmuskus634 6 років тому +1

      Many factors influence how busy it is.
      1. The amount of cruise ships in the harbor.
      2. Mornings are less warm, hence busier.
      3. Weekends are more busy than weekdays.
      4. Around payday is busier than mid-month.
      5. Around local festivals such as carnivals etc.

    • @albertsplinter7235

      Round 1pm most locals are gone to pick up their kids from school and to have lunch. It is also th hottest part if the day, so around 12noon we are gone and come back around 16pm.

      There isn't many people there unless a cruise ship pulls in. I bet it was really dead this year. I've rented cars there a few times and drove all over the island. It has some very clear water if you are in to snorkeling. The north of the island becomes pretty bare and not much to do. This island has quite an interesting mixture of people though. A lot of people speak English, Dutch, Spanish, and I forgot the local language.
