Just finished reading Dr. Amitav Ghosh trilogy on the Opium wars. And was astounding to find that so much of Chinese culture, Mandarins,how Hong Kong was merely a forested islands and after the defeat of the Chinese emperor by the East India company in the Opium wars how Hong- Kong was staked and populated.Much empressed by the Mandarin scholars.

That jerk rudely extinguished his disgusting cigar on my desk and treated personal assistants like dirt. How you treat staff is the best reflection of your character. Nevertheless, the Mandarin Oriental is a fabulous hotel group, I used to live in Mandarin Oriental residential tower, 88 Columbus Circle in New York, fantastic place, the view was breathtaking.
I was told he had some skeletons in the cupboard too.
