Someone from Be'eri (I believe) on Israel's TV station said the fence was broken in two places and although they asked for it to be fixed no one fixed it. Also, one or two female IDF soldiers warned their higher ups of problems in the fence (breaks) but no one took the IDF warnings seriously... so I heard.
It's really difficult, but I'm saving money so I can get there before it's no longer possible. Hopefully, I'll be there by October 1st.
