The snow man adverts was actually a famous book then made into a animation for christmas. I'm guessing they would of had to get permission to do it, I liked the butcher one lol so unexpected 😅
Just FYI, these are not ranked by popularity, just oldest to newest. It would have been a better video had they ranked them worst to best. My top 2 was the butcher one and the snowman.
The snowman advert was VERY clever. Reproducing the original snowman story, music and style perfectly and the graphics were full of Scottish landmarks.
Irn bru adverts are the business! There was a billboard in my home town that had a picture of a cow with a speech bubble coming out of its mouth, that said “when I’m a burger, I want to be washed down with Irn Bru” 😂😂😂
@@TheNatashaDebbieShowthe original Snowman film is a Christmas must see. Still amazing and charming even though it is now over 40 years old. Please do a reaction video about it 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Awww ! The one where the gal is saying farewell to her guy, leaving on the train. She runs along the platform, crying, goodbye, goodbye, goodbye and crashing into the pylons supporting the roof. She brushes them aside, because she is MADE OF GIRDERS. Love it !
These ads were terrific, The funniest part though is watching you two react because I know what’s going to happen next. 😂😂 Thank you both, you are amazing.
Cracking! .. Irn-bru ads are always fun. They popped me into their 2014 Glasow Commonwealth Games ad after thinking I looked batty enough walking around town with my saltire flag. 😀
the iron brew snowman is a parody of the animated film, the snowman, its extremely wholesome. you should watch it if you havent already, there are so many pop references to it.

Number 3 is the best because it references the older adds when Irn Bru was made from girders. My favourite is still the ad with the train unable to leave the station because the girlfriend is holding on to say a longer goodbye
The Snowman one is the best. Based on a children's Christmas cartoon film, this film features many iconic Scottish landscapes - Edinburgh Castle, The Forth Bridge, The Loch Ness Monster, The Harry Potter railway train, and more.

Hi Natasha and Debbie, glad you like our adverts here in the U.K. Irn Bru is my favourite drink. I have just re-watched your reaction to our Marmite ads too, your reactions are so funny. I’m lucky enough to live in Burton upon Trent where Marmite is made. When I was a child ( over 50 years ago ) the Marmite factory used to give free jars of it to all the children under 10. So I grow up loving it, it’s extremely good for you as it has vitamins in it especially B12. The reason it’s made in Burton is because we have/ had loads of Breweries so the used yeast is taken from the Breweries to the Marmite factory while they are still warm. I hope you found this interesting. 😊😊
That was a later version of the snowman ad. In the first version shown, there was a long delay and a hand just barely reaches out, so it implies that he could be badly hurt. There must have been complaints so next year the boy is shown to be okay. At the add agency when they came up with the idea, some people didn't want to show the boy reappearing at all so you wouldn't know if the boy was dead. So the first weak hand version was a compromise.
Cans do taste better than plastic bottles, but glass bottles are even better. It's all about the material the drink is stored in, as it does genuinely affect the chemical properties of the liquid. Most drinks will taste better from a glass container, unless they have been exposed to sustained direct sunlight, which is why beers in dark glass bottles retain their freshness better.
Fanny used to be a 'normal' name. There's even a book/movie called Fanny by Gaslight. It's sometimes the shorter version of Frances or Stephanie or Phenola. It fell out of favor then became the 'Karen' of female body parts!
Showing my age here but when I was a boy, early 70's there was a TV cook called Fanny Cradock. Schoolboy humour always kicked in with me & my brother when she was on screen. 😂
The musical ones were funny at the time because they were direct parodies of what was coming from America at the time ie. High School Musical and the Pepsi ads that used pop stars. My favourite part of the whole vid was at the end of the "Disney" one when we got to see what you both had for your dinner! LOL. One of the best reactions to this video I have seen.
The Irn Bru factory is about a 10 minute drive from my house! Love the Irn Bru adverts! So funny, especially the Fanny one! Not a huge fan of the Snowman but it's very well done. Full of Scottish landmarks. You would probably need to watch the Snowman to get the advent.
The ultrasound scanner was designed and built in Glasgow. It was a collaboration between a number of Scottish pioneers and began with the work of Professor Ian Donald, Dr John McVicar and Tom Brown.
The musical numbers were direct parodies of US style Coke/ Pepsi adverts, and the Snowman one was a very clever re-imagining of the animated film of the The Snowman- which is a Chrisrmas favourite in the UK. In this version the snowman was passing well known Scottish landmarks.
Hi, my favorite is the butcher & the snowman. The cracks about Americans is a dig at them not having the no1 drink in Scotland. Coke Cola and Pepsi come after irn Bru. We're the only place on the planet that those two aren't no1. Btw Fanny was shortened version of Frances, a few generations back. No6 was a take on high school musical. I love how Natasha said my Scottish roots, then you guys are crazy. Yes we are, so are you in or out😂

We used to get it in large glass bottles when I was at school in 70s and 80s. Then you returned the bottle for a 10p/20p credit. Tastes even better from a glass.
The one where a couple just had a baby and decided to call her fanny, the grandmother says my mother was a fanny she'll be in a long line of Fannies , that's my fave always makes me laugh. 😂😂👌
