I'm writing a motivation letter now and it's really difficult for me. I suppose your videos about this topic are the most vivid and interesting. Many thanks! 🙏🙂
@@JesusCollegeOxford1571 welcome. I wish all goes well, I get in as a post grad student of linguistics at Jesus College. Trust me I will look for you and atleast get a handshake. You are one of the world's cream de la cream professors. I want to be a professor too. 🥰🥰
Matt your videos are so good which makes my understanding better about Admission Procedure. kindly Also make video regarding Mphil political Sciences . i know you are not familiar with Post grad but kindly request some prof of post grad to do video with you.
Thanks for your comment. As you say, I don't have much knowledge of MPhil admissions, but I do teach for the politics MPhil. Do you have a particular question I can help with?
Sorry Sir .. in your video you said that you are familiar with Bachelor admissions so that's why i talked about this. My question is that how many students are in Mphil Political sciences classes ? i mean how many seats are available for students?
Can you plz do a video on the music course at Oxford since there is not really any videos on music course and I do like the sound of that course plz thanks
Hi Raumaan, I'm not that familiar with the music course I'm afraid. You can always contact the faculty if you're interested, they're very nice! www.music.ox.ac.uk/contact
Hi Jesus College, I am an international applicant, I just want to ask what if my igcse grades are average, but my alevel grades are good, will this influence my application to Oxford?
Your IGCSE grades will be considered alongside the rest of your application. A-levels are more important to us, and it's not unusual for students to perform much better once they've narrowed down the subjects they are interested in. In other words, if you are on course to get the A-level results needed for our degrees, then I would definitely throw your hat into the ring!
Hello jesus college If you go to an over-achieving state school, are you expected to perform higher than the grade requirements, (My school achieved 37% A*-A in 2018), would this mean im expected to achieve higher than other state students? thank you, Matt.
Hi Matt, no, provided you are on course to obtain the necessary A-level grades, you do not need to exceed these. We do look at your contextualised GCSE grades, meaning that you will be compared to your school as opposed to being compared to the whole country. But, it is not required that you exceed any particular target, be use no such target exists. We consider all available data holistically, rather than applying arbitrary targets.
Is it normal to have a psychedelic, seizure-inducing projection on both the presenter and the background ?
