This engineer's theory: The hair raising is a big clue. It may indicate a Piezoelectric effect (look it up) in a crystalline floor (quartz, feldspar, etc). If you approach the statue, walking makes a pressure buildup of electric charge, raising hairs and messing up most cameras. A high voltage static discharge flash may happen near a conductive statue.

    • @jimwhitehead1532
      @jimwhitehead1532 Рік тому +30

P.S. My theory can explain everything you saw. It is testable: If someone enters wearing an electrically conductive suit head to toe, the effect goes away as the charge is dissapated. Its a Faraday Cage: "a grounded metal screen surrounding equipment (or person) to exclude electrostatic and electromagnetic influences."

This is a super interesting comment. And I'm sure that people who were in the business of cutting and carving very large stones involving these materials knew every one of these properties and knew how to master them.

Piezoelectric with crystals only happens when kinetic energy is applied to the crystal, by either hitting it or breaking it. Once discharged the electricity is gone, and can only be reintroduced with another kinetic force applied.
And for a thing like the statue, the electric charge would have simply and directly have been dissipated into the ground.
And the a working flash discharges in a closed circuit, so that electricity stays inside the camera.
Also, from what I saw from the video, none of the camera's were actually messed up. They are just terrible photographers. One is obviously a moved photo, the other is a camera that isn't sensitive enough for a room as dark as that. And one the white flash is obviously the camera software misjudged how much the exposure needed to be reduced during the flash, and got overblown. And geo location data is sometimes off because they were standing in a thick stone Rome that messes with gps signals, nothing weird.

@@DrTheRichI agree. And let’s not forget the placebo like effect of myth of objects like this. Like the guy saying “I’m not one of those people that believe in that stuff but…”. He and Johanna have obviously already heard of the myth and legend of people seeing the statue move and that has effected their experience of it whether they believe in the myth or not, it’s prejudiced them into thinking the statue can move. Plus those who have claimed to have seen it move, due to the darkness of the room and contrast with the light, could simply be seeing the involuntary movement of their own eyes and misinterpreting it as the statue moving.

Same for me. As a ten year old child raised in a poor part of Appalachia who only knew of Egypt from an old encyclopedia, I had a premonition. My cousin and I were spending the night with our grandparents and had snuck out about 3am to sit on the porch watching a full moon. I told her, when I grow up, I need to go to Egypt. I remember it so clearly. Have not made it yet due to some serious health issues, but not giving up. Maybe next year! 🐈‍⬛

I visited Sehkmet for the first time 30 years ago, when you actually needed a special authorization from the authorities to enter that chapel. We were only 3 persons authorized to enter at that time. We all had crazy experiences in her presence. To this day I remember the feeling of being shaken from the inside by the energy emanating from that place to the point, after a few minutes trying to get a grip on what was happening, to be compelled to fall on my knees in front of the statue! I know it sound crazy, but I never felt something so "there" in Egypt, even if I had some pretty strong experiences every one of the 10 times I went to this country. Without having any rational explanation of what is happening here it has to be noted that Sekhmet is still in its original chapel, which is very rare in Egypt, as most of the statues of divinity has been put into museum or moved from their original location. There is for sure a special electromagnetic phenomenon in Karnak and I believe She is still charged to this day! Anyway. Thank you for this video! I hope you will be able to get back there alone and take your time, as it is another experience when you are not rush by a group and can stay there on your own.

I'm so very fortunate to have learned about this statue before my big trip to Egypt earlier this month thanks to you guys. I was only in that room for a short bit and already knowing what was coming was so much better. She knew I was coming already, and as soon as I turned the corner to look at her and as my eyes locked upon her my vision started swaying. My eyes were completely still but my vision started wobbling and blurring but in that moment, I saw her smile. A genuine one. I felt the energy coming from the room as she acknowledged me and my brother with a very queenly regal energy yet a friendly one. Asked her for a photo or two and we got some clear shots for her but some of the shots came out darker than others which was interesting. Me and my brother gave her offerings of our cats whiskers there and immediately afterwards cats started to come up to us all friendly and loving.
Another cool thing is when we were on our cruise ship prior to going to Karnak my brother found a pure black cat whisker that wasn't our cat whiskers that were tucked away. He found it in the bathroom on a bath towel. I took a picture of it before he ended up storing and stashing it away. When we got back from Karnak and such there had been no one in the room and no cleaning crew from the cruise ship had come in. We checked the bag and the whisker was completely gone. We were mindblown as we shook the bag on a white surface and everything and nothing. So yeah, it was a very cool experience before, being there and even after.

Something similar happened when I saw the statue too. Someone else’s tour guide asked if I wanted to see something cool that no one else was allowed to see. I walked in the room and it was really dark and could only see the silhouette and I felt A very strong “shock” go through my body like I was seeing something I wasn’t supposed to see and the real truth. For some reason the silhouette looked like a tall alien grey at first and seeing that was what made my heart drop into my stomach. Once my eyes adjusted to the dark and I could see it was a feline and not an alien statue I chilled out, but I’ll never forget that initial shock.

I started to cry and wasn’t able to stop for 40 minutes. My energy shifted completely. This tour guide told me afterwards I was Sekhmetized. The energy I channel after this event has changed completely.

I'm Azorean but have lived in the USA since an infant. We went back to visit my family when I was 5. We were in my grandparents house and I remember playing with the pots and pans in the cabinets. Suddenly things started to shake violently. My father pushed me under the kitchen table they had been sitting at talking. I remember chicken's and their donkey nervously passing in view of the open door. It was a minor earthquake I came to find out later in life from my parents. But the craziest thing is that while it was happening I had been holding onto my mother's hand for comfort the whole while during the tremors. At least that's what I thought until I looked again towards the doorway and noticed both my parents and my grandparents where standing below the doors frame. As I pulled my hand away in shock and looked over at what I was holding a fading image of a feline face with a smile evaporated before my eyes. On the back of my left hand ever since that day I've had a small scar of the Roman numeral 5. I can't fully understand what it was, but I felt it was there to help.

The things you experienced can be attributed to electromagnetic interference and infrasound. EM interference regularly messes up DSLRs, CCTVs, camcorders and smartphones, and there are lots of hotspots (both natural and man-made) where this happens. It’s a regular topic on photo forums. Our bodies are also reactive to EM energy; we’ve all experienced our hair standing up due to static electricity. This is similar.
I’ve had similar weird things happen with photos on my iPhone and older digital cameras as the doubled statue image, except I was taking pics of my Pugs. So that doesn’t intrigue me much. I’ve also had that exact flash misfire. Not with the location change, though. That *is* weird, but it might also be a result of EM interference messing with the GPS.
Infrasound is noise so low that we can’t hear it, but our bodies still register it. Every so-called haunted building investigated using specialty recording equipment has registered infrasound. Infrasound causes everything from a mild sense of uneasiness to outright hallucinations; feeling a chill or one’s hair to stand on end are common experiences. We are evolutionarily conditioned to respond fearfully to infrasound because those low registers are produced by large predators like tigers and dangerous natural phenomena like earthquakes and volcanoes.
I’d like to see this place investigated with equipment designed specifically to detect both electromagnetic and infrasound sources, just to rule them out or in. I strongly suspect this spot was chosen precisely because of the naturally occurring phenomena there, which reinforces the religious aspects.

    • @sshreddderr9409
      @sshreddderr9409 7 місяців тому

these buildings were created to be used with piezoelectricity and infrasound as a function. of course there is still infrasound being emited, cause part of the structures is still active. I bet you could detect both em fields and infrasound waves in almost any megalithic site. People routinely report strange feelings in these places, and the pyramids clearly were designed to use infrasound waves and resonance. the statue itself is made from granite, so it is piezolectric and likely still emits infrasound cause of an active em field conducted by the giant stones in the ground or the walls.

Her chapel was the most powerful part of our entire trip. It was just my girl and I at Karnak, with our guide. I entered first, my girl right behind. We had no idea what we were entering - my guy wanted to surprise me because I bought a granite Sekhmet the prior day in the valley.
What we experienced can only be described as spiritual. Everything you described, we felt. And we were there alone - no polluted energy. We were also there the day before the solstice.
Apparently the sunlight in the ceiling aligns with a certain constellation at solstice - rather than aligning with sun/moon.
Heavy fucking experience. Think about it all the time.

I'm a skeptic, but there's no way I can ignore everything we know about Egypt now--including how weirdly secretive the Egyptian authorities are about parts of these sites.
I also think a lot about how spirituality is not necessary to explain the supernatural when there's so much crazy stuff going on in energy, particle, and quantum sciences

I was instantly drawn to a section upon entering... and there was 4 huge real statues of Sehkmet. I instantly felt a warm sensation and a strong vibration coming from her and I was transported to another time I smelled incense... I was alone in that moment and I was with Sehkmet and she held me tightly in her arm's. As I came too I almost fainted and felt tears in my eyes... I felt so much love it was overwhelming & beautiful. Now I know I am not the only one and am not crazy. It literally felt like comming home to a mother, I had not seen in a long time.

Very similar thing happened recently at New Orleans exhibit w the largest collection of Sekhmet statues we’ve had here. I was stunned when I walked into the first room w all the statues I felt like I walked into the presence of a holy person and gasped. Every hair stood up and my knees got weak. I had to hold back serious tears bc I was pretty sure the people nearby would think I was having some kind of problem. I wanted to stay alone in the room because I felt like there was an entity there communicating loudly to me but I was too entranced to compose myself. I went to see the statues bc of a strange lucid dream I had where I felt her rage for protection of the innocent…. I didn’t know who she was at that time but figured it out. I remember this as one the most beautiful experiences of an Egypt trip in 2016 lead by John Anthony West.We went early in the morning at sunrise and Sekhmet was on fire, we sat down in silence for half an hour and tears were streaming down my face (I hate crying in public) the energy was so intense, it was palpable. She really is present in all her force in that shrine. Our cameras picked up orb storms whirling around her so intensely that it got picked up as sound/static and blurred her image out. Funny enough though, when I went back in 2019 with another group in the middle of the day when the place was a zoo, she wasn't there. It was just a statue. Ever since my half an hour in silence with her in that shrine, I am obsessed with this force, this being at Karnak, the goddess. Interestingly this statue is one of the last statues in Egypt in it's original place in a shrine and Karnak itself is a place where very powerful magic has been practiced, this shrine is a residue of the olympic level art that was practiced there. It is definitely very touching and visceral, it just smacks you in the face when you are in the presence of Sekhmet. You can tell that the ancients were not fucking around. Just thought I'd share this, love your channel would love to get my ass back to Egypt soon. Much love Jahanna :)

Sekhmet is my favorite Egyptian diety; if I ever get the chance before I'm old & busted I wanna visit her statue. My personal headcanon is that they used the energy of Sekhmet to charge embue their weapons & artifacts with energy. If this applies to people as well, given the wide range of reports of phenonema happening in the presence of the black statues, then I reckon that there is some sort of property to the room & figure that was meant to transfer energy between the temple & the visitor, whether they be animate or inanimate.

The statue of sekmet that was doubled is a SLOW SHUTTER SPEED EFFECT. If it's that dark in there and the statue is black any camera is gonna have a very difficult time with exposure... and will need longer non handhold-able shutter speeds... which means anything under 1/60th of a second. Specially if a flash discharges... the most "haunted" exposure is f2.8 @ 2seconds with a flash discharge

A good setup would be a tactical vest with 3 or 4 phones mounted facing forward with the same field of view.
Another useful tool would be a digital RF meter which can log data with timestamps. Being able to correllate multiple types of sensors to get a more complete picture will be very insightful.

I started experiencing some strangeness when her statue was first shown on here, just while watching this vid! Lol
It's crazy and very interestingly intentional how her statue (and many others that represent other Neteru) doesn't even look like a feline-anthropomorphic being at first when looking upon her, as one's eyes are readjusting to the room.
Even knowing who and what Sekhmet is and represents before walking into her sanctuary, when one first "sees" her it isn't what her typical depictions that we are familiar with, that are seen first and foremost.
I feel that all Neteru have multiple forms, as with her and her statue/vessel! I first saw what could be described as a big headed (because the solar disc proportions and placement) big-eyed (thanks to the proportions and placement of her feline ears) tall, luminous, divine being!
It got me thinking that maybe all the Gods, Goddesses, and deities the world over, especially within cultures that believe and know that at one time these were physical beings with extraordinary abilities, and one of which is concealment of true form and identity...so they were masters of disguises...and that only when approaching her and sitting with her while alone, will one get to be in her presence (on this plane) because the lack of distraction with more people/bodies being in there at the same time.
So I feel she (and many others in their locations) grace us when solitary, more than when in groups all at once! Even though many groups in various sizes have experienced strange and amazing things together, for Sekhmet it seems to be that she requires a more personal and intimate connection in order to reveal her energies and presence!
Maybe she's also initiating all of the people who experience her "anomalies"!

The effect of MAGNIFICENCE, GRANDEUR, and MAJESTY of the hieroglyphs and paintings further amplifies this strange feeling that our brain receives as something impossible, considering how many years have passed where you are walking now. These are typical effects that also occur when you visit other stunning and magnificent works that have come almost intact to our days... considering that for us it is inconceivable that people of the past could do certain things... we have lost a lot over the millennia... we may have gained other things, but we have lost the taste for the beautiful, magnificent... the taste for BIG things that are meant to last. Anyway, I fully understand what it means to walk in places where you truly breathe in and see what we were once and what we are now... As you well know, there have been various extinction events on our VERY OLD Earth... extremely catastrophic extinctions... who can actually say HOW MUCH WE'VE LOST... scientists ecc... laugh at the mere thought, yet even they don't know. Our abilities might have been truly extraordinary... something we can't even conceive of today, but the Earth is old... and at the height of greatness, geniality, etc., then came a natural disaster that literally plowed the planet, and all have to re-start AGAIN... AND AGAIN.

you don't need high tech knowledge to explain the things here.
The doubled photo was simply a moved one due to not having used a flash.
The one with the "flat" histogram, is obviously underexposed.
The geo-location being off comes from being inside a thick stone room.
The white picture, is a little lag in the camera software that missed the exposure compensation for the flash.
The bright spot, is accidentally overlapping lighter spots during the moved photo making them look brighter than the rest. It's just a shiny reflection of the light from the ceiling.
The tingeling feeling and hairs feeling raised up can just be a reaction to the psychological effect that a dark creepy statue in a dark creepy room has on a human. Combined with being hyped up about what there is to find and one's beliefs.
What frightens me about the statue photos is that it looks like a crocodile from straight on, with the ears of the lion being it's eyes.
I'm not saying gods don't exist. But every effect they showed here is easily explained by natural phenomena.

That being said, the man with the Leica camera showing his histogram… it was a dark photo with mostly shadows, hence why the graph looked like that. The photo he scrolled to prior had much more highlights in it, hence the graph was more balanced. Hey JJ, so here's the CRAZY backstory behind that Sekhmet statue (and basically all the Sekhmet statues in Egypt)
Sekhmet is the lioness goddess of destruction, pestilence, and war. Her main myth was about nearly destroying the entire human race in a violent rage. She is basically the Egyptian version of the destructive aspect of Kali. Weirdly, Sekhmet is the most popular statue in Egypt with over 600-700 statues (many relocated to western museums). Even more strange, most all of these were built at the command of Akhenaten's father (Amenhotep III). Mainstream scholars don't know why.
However, alternative historians Graham Phillips and Riaan Booysen have an excellent explanation. This involves their more plausible variant of the Moses-Akhenaten theory, which is that Moses was Akhenaten's older brother and heir to the throne, Prince Thoth-moses (also spelled Tuthmose), who mysteriously disappears from Egyptian records. (Check out both of their books, I think you'll love them)
Both of these historians believe that nine of the ten plagues of Egypt (in Exodus) were actually the result of Egypt being downwind from the violent eruption of the Thera-Santorini super-volcano which was 6-8 times more powerful than Krakatoa!!! Egypt didn't see the sun for years and it was perpeually hazy. Toxic dust was everywhere and people/animals had skin sores/boils/diseases. The water was red from iron oxide in the dust. Egyptian civilization was collapsing from famine/plague. Total chaos and anarchy on a truly unimaginable scale. Some of this is even chronicled in Egyptian records (despite the collapse of their country).
So Akhenaten's father erected hundreds of statues to Sekhmet to appease the goddess of destruction and pestilence. And when that failed to end the devastation, the Egyptians all sacrificed their firstborn sons to the statues of Sekhmet (this revised as the tenth plague in Exodus and attributed to the angel of death). All of which utterly failed to end the death and chaos.
When Akhenaten takes over, he decides to try and start a brand new religion (like Moses, his brother) and even relocated the capital further south to where there was actually daylight, hence, the open air temples unique to his reign. This new religion was not created because Akhenaten was some kind of a spiritual rebel (the Egyptians were very traditional), but simply because everything else has completely and utterly failed.
All of which means there is a very real possibility there is quite a lot of negative/dark "energy" around that statue (similar to the "haunted" reports around battlefields or gaschambers). And please keep in mind, the British explorers who opened King Tut's tomb (Akhenaten's son) didn't believe in "energies", "curses", and/or "black magic" either, but I'm guessing they do now... And so did the advanced civilization the built the Great Pyramids with technology more sophisticated than ours... And FYI- that advanced civilization also believed, as odd as it might sound to us, that statues (perhaps in special locations) could be imbued with souls (as discussed in G. Hancock's 'Talisman')... All of which is a long-winded way of saying "I'd think twice about going back to that statue in order to further poke/prod at it"... Because it sounds like the beginning of some scary paranormal thriller film!
Anyway- take care, be safe, and remember to listen to your intuition! (aka leg hairs;)
PS- I really enjoy your videos and your wacky British humour. And more impressively, many times I can't believe I'm learning new things on a subject I've studied forever! So thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

The biggest private collection of Egyptian antiquities in the UK was there. So who knows maybe the Sekmet statues called him. Some were later sold to the Met in New York I think.
Look this up and you will see an old photo of them sitting in perfect alignment on a veranda. Wonder if the one in Nevada is one of them?

One of my friends took a photo with a very simple camera that shows Sekhmet surrounded by beautiful holograms. As one of my teachers says “Sekhmet is calling her cubs” I told various people who were travelling to Egypt about my experiences and told them to go see her. Some of them couldn’t find the temple or were not allowed to go in. 😮 I am convinced they were not supposed to …

Same thing happened to me years ago. I went in the chapel with my friend and a man we met there who had a pass to get in. We weren't told what was in there. Once inside there were 2 empty rooms and one pitch black room. Nobody said there was a statue you are not supposed to look at. I had a Nokia mobile (long before iPhones) and it could take flash photos so I was walking forward in the darkness taking photos and suddenly I was face to face and terrified. All these years later whenever I think of it I'm still filled with fear

Great to hear from you again and such an interesting video!
I just hope that this sponsor thing won't start to affect on your opinion or research on our history...
Personally I believe the whole Karnak & Luxor complex are not temples at all, but remains of a pre-ice age city, maybe even a capital. We could just barely replicate all those granite statues today and even for us it would be so expenisve nobody would do it. Serapeum of Saqqara is their bank vault. Egyptians only re-used and repaired and re-decorated the sites when they found it and started using them.
The pyramids of egypt are also the remains of the same civilization: all the pyramids and obelisks are part of one massive pyramidal artwork of 'civilization art': Pyramid is the simplest geometrical shape which suggests intelligent design over natural formation, and thus it has been used throughout the history of civilization to communicate the technological level and the culture of the builder civilization. Thats why we see ancient pyramids all over the planet. The interiors of the egyptian pyramids are a message in the bottle: it is an artistic representation of what the builders were like.

For half the video, I just saw eyes where the ears are and the statue looked like an alien. Then in a close up I saw the tiger face.

I felt very humble and buzzed at the same time when I met her in 2012. The Osirian at Abydos gave me an indescribable feeling though. Proper Al-Khem-y. Abu Sir was vibing too.

I believe it's the tech thats creating the anomalies, more tech more etc. The sensory element is sympathetic ,tangible tension, in extremis mass hysteria. Great work ,thoroughly enjoyable.

Not if it happens when alone. Unsuspecting. This has happened many times to many people. This is real. Its like anything...piano playing or soccer practice. Some of us have the wiring for it. Others need to practice alot more.

One of your best videos.... Same camera at the same time with different locations, that's mind blowing. I did notice it and was happy when you picked up on it.
