- נאמר בפסוק "נחמו נחמו עמי", מחמת שנאמר "ותאמר ציון עזבני ה' וה' שכחני". ציון היא השכינה. והשכינה אומרת עזבני ה', וכנגד זה "נחמו נחמו עמי", שלא תאמר עזבני ה'!
וזה רבי נחמן בן פייגא, שכינה ('נחמן' - נחמה, 'פייגא' - פירושו 'ציפור' שזה אחד מכינויי השכינה).
והשכינה בגלות והיא צריכה נחמה, מחמת ש"ותאמר ציון עזבני ה' וה' שכחני, התשכח אשה עולה מרחם בן בטנה, גם אלה תשכחנה ואנכי לא אשכח".
זה כמו שאישה אומרת לבעלה אתה לא אוהב אותי - שכחת אותי, וזה שאומרת ציון היא השכינה "עזבני ה'".
