I own Both SONY and JBL. These two are legends in audio system. I love them both. Each has their own plus and minus. They are also different in characteristics of sound. SONY well known for balance sound, while JBL known for deep bass. Depends on what preference type of songs you listening at. For V13D, You can use it as CD player, since it has CD Player built in. But it lack of internal battery, it is best used in home, or places that have power supply. While Partybox is way more suit for outdoor and you can take it anywhere, since it has internal battery, but be sure do not overcharge it. As far as I know, Partybox is more expensive than V13D. In here Partybox 100 cost USD 350, V13D USD 200.
Bass boost level 1 boosts the lower bass from 35-50hz and bass boost 2 boosts the bass from 50-70hz. Don't know why GDYMCADDY says that bass boost 2 is "stronger", that's false It's just the frequencys that are boosted
Can you really connect the V13 to the XB32 or XB41???? I have the v13 and planning on buying xb32 and 41 for louder sounds . Have you connected them personally?

Stop saying bass, bass covers anything from 1hz - 200hz. Give us a sense of what you are hearing since the recording cant do justice to what you are hearing.

Hi sorry if i am too late but if you keep your volume around 30-40% and keep the bass boost option off you can get it to last upto 12 hours, of course provided that you turn of the lights. Hope it helps
I was actually going to purchase the partybox, but the problem is it comes with a built in battery that can render the speaker useless in a few years and I don't want the hassle of having to change it, also you can't use it plugged in because you risk damaging the battery and it's also a burden to have to charge it all the time. I'm buying this same sony that I found and the sound is amazing, plus since it doesn't have a built in battery it can live years and years plugged to the wall. That's my take at least.
The hell u Talkin about risking the battery life of the pb when plugged in. It is meant to be plugged in dumb becuase it is even rated of 160 watts and when using its own battery only goes to 100 watts. That won't break the speaker ok every speaker has its limiter. It's meant to be used even plugged in becuase thats what it's advertised for but why would it even break the speaker you're just plugging it and using it that wont do harm to Ur speaker it will only break when you modify the speaker or shut off its limiter then it will go boom when plugged in. Please just don't say such nonsense things when you don't even know what your talking about my lady.
The PB310 beats the V83, so the V43 is no match. The PB100 also outperforms V43. The T70 is a great sounding speaker, very hifi like, it just doesnt have that bass like a party speaker. If you want sound quality, go for the t70. If you want bass, go for the pb310. Most sony's are useless, there is only one sony worth buying and it even beats the pb1000 in many areas, the v90dw. Ive listened and tested all these speakers side by side including the sony x30d, x70d, lg ok99 and the Meridian tuned ol100.
Don't just go with others say. Videos don't do these speakers justice , listen to them side by side or go to a store to test them out for yourself. I'm personally going with the Sony on this one. JBL has a deeper muffled sound, and that usually sounds a bit too flat for me. Sony really brings out those highs and clear vocals with rumbling bass. All depends on your preference

Battery life tragic (despite stamina mode) and finally charging chip died and Sony center wanted price of a next phone to fix that... Bought Huawei instead. Hugely better in every regard.
