It perfectly captures Shadow because he lost everything and even was tricked into believing a lie by a mad man. Then he died. And when he came back, he couldn't go any lower. He literally had nothing left to lose. And though 06 may have been a bad game, Shadow's characterization was pretty much perfect.
Exactly. People say: “he would never join GUN considering what they did to Maria”, but, just think about that for a second. In SA2 Shadow thought Maria wanted revenge, so he did that, by attacking GUN and others, and trying to destroy Earth. But then he realized Maria actually wanted Shadow to make everyone happy, or basically, to protect the planet. Shadow knew how powerful GUN was, and Rouge, his new friend, was also there. Knowing that they protect society, and also having a friend there, of course he’s gonna join GUN. He can forgive them in this case, because even tho they took everything away from him, they also do what Maria wanted Shadow to do, so he can make an exception this time, and he joined GUN. That’s just a natural character arc for shadow. Forgiving the people who killed his only friend at the time to keep a promise to that very friend. Shadow is just a phenomenal character man
Agree with everything but it being a bad game shadows and slivers stories are amazing if gameplay was more polished it would have been loved for it's story like sa2

Also, Yesmen, a little suggestion, but I think it would look very cool if you put a equalizer effect!
