Sabbath or not, this has a legit late 1969 - early 1970 rehearsal jam sound that at times sounds like Sabbath. Something they would do to brainstorm ideas for songs
I 100% enjoyed this. I sincerely had this playing in the car on loop for a while. Looking at the other comment about the tone being wrong, I did notice something about the guitar being alot more crunchier. It does sound P90ish which is right for Iommi but it sounds more like a strat than an SG and I had thought well maybe it's from Iommi's strat playing days. I think Bill Wards and Geezer's playing is spot on though. I think the overdubbing at the end is right as well. It's what Iommi would've done to get a more fuller solo and sound. The song doesn't sound generic at all. Very lively, lots of soul. Good job for garage band. Thumbs up! Try doing a song for jim cover!
I'm 60 y.o. been listening to sabbath all my life ,my older brother is the one who came home in 1970 with an album with a witch on the cover, played it and I never went back , this is not Black Sabbath !
Sounds like Sabbath. Although, I know it isn't. Has different tones but the right direction. Definitely a killer jam. Own it bro. If you did it, get your name out there. Obviously, you know what you're doing. Sounds similar to Blue Cheers' Fruit and Icebergs which sounds similar to Warning by Sabbath.....there's all kinds of Iommi cliche sounds abounding..I got the Ward vibe. Almost got me but, the fact is , it's killer and if it's killer then Sabbath would of put it down on record ....I'd say Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath or Sabotage although there's remnants of overdubs from Vol IV and solos from Black Sabbath the Album....get yer money, brother. It's great. Dont let the Sab 4 get credit. This is a masterpiece.... It's yours so own it and give it a name.....I'll be listening to this for a long time it's that good...has all the right feelings and emotions to make ones head spin back and forth...lol... seriously, though.. own your jam, brother.....oh and at the end I can hear solo overdubs similar to the one at the end of Wheels of Confusion. At any rate, Sabbath or not, it's killer and I commend the musicians....
@@jzac77 Well, I have to say, that's a badass jam. That's the shit I do on my busted up Martin that's missing 3 strings but I still know where to go for that sound. My Strat and Les Paul are in a pawn shop in Santa Ana along with my partners 70s Ibanez that I commandeered because he never payed his debt. So I just kick my Martins ass. Speed acoustic. Lol..but it sounds killer with my palm muting and Blackmore style mesmerization. I'd normally change my strings out but I've been through 2 open heart surgeries in a 17th month span and I'm just lazy these days trying to breathe... you've got a killer gig going and I must say that that Sabbath oriented tune was pretty golden and heavy. That's the shit I've been trying to master for years( and I have) but that jam I just listened to is what I've been reaching for. I got killer riffs from my youth still rushing through my brain. Talented but less fortunate....I'm gonna learn your jam note for note. That's how killer it is...I'm truly impressed with what you've done....but I'd own it if I were you. Just gank your name on it and call it Sons of Sabbath....it's really good. I'm gonna keep listening to it. Fuck me running. It's that good... thanks and keep em coming...
This sounds like early sabbath when tony iommi was still using a fender Stratocaster. Maybe that’s why the solos are thinner , but goddamn those licks are definitely iommi or iommi influences. Literally using the exact soloing licks iommi would use, in my opinion it could be real. Totally sounds like the first album, which once again was recorded on a Stratocaster. Ik forsure wicked world was on a strat and this has heavy wicked world vibes and the warning vibes.
Only Wicked World and Evil Woman recorded with Tony Iommi using his Fender Stratocaster Trident Studio London. He used the Gibson SG to record the first album on October 16th 69 Regent Sound Studio London.
Sabbath nerds know their abc's… birds of a fringe suede jacket flock together with their crosses around the neck because doom loves company! More groovier impossible it is! Nice!
The good thing here is that one does not have to suffer not knowing what the lyrics are. I recall that BS never (or rarely) added the lyrics on their LP's.
The drums sound like on "Johnny's Blade" The riffs are badass but sound kinda Fender-ish The over dubbed solo at the end reminds me of "Snowblind" And that's DEFINITELY Ozzy's voice.
I call BS. Iommi's tone is all wrong, the overall tone of the recording is all wrong, the guitar overdub at the end is all wrong but trying too hard to be right. It's a fake, but a pretty good one. Had this of been a Sabbath song, I might've been a good one.
Hahahaha thanks man, good ear. I recorded it straight into garage band on my iphone 4 in a few minutes. If I had mic'd everything up properly and used my marshall maybe I could've put on a more convincing act.
lol! Good of you to come clean! I mean it's a really decent track, quite enjoyed it. I really want to write and record vocals for it actually. I have been known to sort of sound like Ozzy a little bit. Do you have a clean track of the guitar? I'd love to run it through my personal Iommi patch on Amplitube. Check out my vids, look for "Keymaster" and compare that tone with "Paranoid" era Iommi and check the vocals. I think we could make this track really cool if we collaborated!
Sabbath-ish. Then again, I sounded sabbath-ish in the early 90's just playing around with a strat. I don't even own a guitar now. I will. Soon. It probably won't be another strat. It doesn't matter. As long as it drives the screw.
I don't know where the fuck people are getting this ain't a Tony Iommi song. It's just something you've never heard. I've never heard it until now, but it's definitely Tony Iommi. I've seen and heard so many people attempting to emulate him and he's too distinctive to emulate.
The sound does not strike me as 1969-1970 Black Sabbath. Bill’s drumming is heavier and more unpredictable than this tune. Tony’s sound in those days was heavier.
Sabbath enjoys shit like this.it makes them earn there own money.and theyll own it soon.lol.these are very talented musicians. Its just like looking at fake autog
I really do like this but I also didn't believe it !! Maybe you should just be yourself !! I'm telling you I would buy an album of this music !! But the recording would have to be fuller sounding !! You are good !!!
Speaking as a day one Sabbath fan, I am calling shenanigans on this.
Laughing House shenanigans would be correct sir
Obviously as clear as the sun in the sky THIS IS NOT TONY, GEEZER & BILL (I WOULD SWEAR TO IT)! Great song though but by someone else!!
Sounds like Iron claw, they and Sabbath were very close in sound
Has all the tell tales how could it not be?
Killer rare breed it izz? Lmfao😅

Daaamn, that's a good way to sound like Sabbath. Really enjoy that one!
All bands had repeaters cheaters.hard to to fake ...
This is beautiful!!!! I would swear that this is SABBATH. The solo says all. PURE IOMMI
🤘🏼
Sabbath members should put all these jams together, think, and create fuckin epic LP in 20XX......
I love this groove drums style... And bass groove too
I fell for it too!!! And I'm a longtime Sabbath fan! Lol.
Still sounds badass though, and definitely sounds like the '69 to early '70s Sabbath :)
Ι don't care if it's Sabbath or not, it's beautiful and that's all that matters! :-)
sounds like a mix of early Sabbath and Pagan Altar!
In the Wake of Amadeus vibe
Ohh ..man...that's I'm feeling tonight...play this song just a music only....the best ..black sabbath
Me identifico muito com o Tony Iommi pelo fato do trabalho pesado e também por sofrer um acidente, superar, reinventar-se e manter uma postura neutra.
Esse tocando definitivamente não é o Iommi!

I know Geezer has a distinct heavy bass play. He let's you know he's there. I don't know. Sounds good . Ozzy was taking a nap.
@@paulsalinas2545 Probably was , lol ! Spot on comment!!🤘🦇🤘🦇🤘🦇🤘
It does sound a lot like a Strat to my ears. I know Tony used a Strat early on before switching to an SG. Great tune!
Mississippi Queen groove.
This lacks the raw demonic sound that Tony is known for. Weird.

Its Sheavy a canadian band
please , tell me the name of the album w/ this song . There's a LOT of bands with that name!!! and all from 90 , none from the 70's :(
Congratulations friend, it really sounds like sabbath
A COOL INSTRUMENTAL SONG BLACK SABBATH DID LOT INSTRUMENTAL SONGS

SUPER!! LOVE!! Thank You!!! VB
That's a HIT. They should have put it out there. COOLNESS.
I can hear Stratocaster , but i might be wrong, but it's really catchy , love it, even if it's fake!
Tony did play a strat before they recorded their first album.
Great 🔥👍💪
That guitar tone! Man alive!
This was great!!! I'm a HUUUGE fan of Sabbath!!!
Sabbath nerds know their abc's… birds of a fringe suede jacket flock together with their crosses around the neck because doom loves company! More groovier impossible it is! Nice!
Sounds like A National Acrobat. Amazing guitar sound btw, so crunchy.
Вау, круто! Такой песни я никогда не слышал)
The good thing here is that one does not have to suffer not knowing what the lyrics are. I recall that BS never (or rarely) added the lyrics on their LP's.
Right lol, like some similar type of playing but you’d feel something a lot stronger of this was Sabbath, this is like sugarloaf lol
I can tell you right now those bass strings are not 10 months old flat wounds. I don't hear the blown speaker the bass cabinet like Geezer's did.
You can’t fool me. This is not Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler or Bill Ward. Sounds cool though.
old school 60 year old Sabbath Fan , not raw enough for the Real Sabbath , agree sounds acceptable grew up at 4 listening to their 45's
The drums sound like on "Johnny's Blade"
The riffs are badass but sound kinda Fender-ish
The over dubbed solo at the end reminds me of "Snowblind"
And that's DEFINITELY Ozzy's voice.
Lol yep. Sounds just like Ozzy's voice lol
What voice?
it's not Sabbath mate
Ahora entiendo por q tanto con las metalúrgicas q trabajaron estos tipos es como el sonido de un taller heavy grande SABBATH,✝️
Tony Iommi is the riff Master 🎸
This is not Tony Iommi kid. LOL!!!!!
not sabbath but what is this tune called ?
This is "Serpent of the Orange" by LIL GAT FAS, without vocals.
Let me down a fifth, close my eyes and see where it takes me.
This sound reflects the Iommi's personality
Definitely calling fakes on this one, sounds much more like Pagan Altar than anything
Hahaha yeah it's fake, thanks you've given me a band to check out
Dingo Johnson as far as I know Pagan Altar was also from Birmingham area
I’m pretty sure a Strat was used on the first LP. This sounds a bit off to be them. Gotta agree. The first LP had a different sound to the guitar.
Only on Wicked World.
Hey ,it rocked!
This is what you'd expect planet caravan to sound like.

I like 👍 Black Sabbath ♡!
There is a demo of Rebel by Black Sabbath from 1969 well comparing the sound this is a nice try from someone to listen like them in 90s-00s
It sounds a lot like a possible practice sesh' of 'earth' ...Iommi's band pre sabbath days thats definitely a strat i think this is legit.
that’s not Tony, but I hear Tony’s influence. Tony has a distinct vibrato in his leads.
It's really us jamming in HS days, Jimmy's parent's basement..
I call BS. Iommi's tone is all wrong, the overall tone of the recording is all wrong, the guitar overdub at the end is all wrong but trying too hard to be right. It's a fake, but a pretty good one. Had this of been a Sabbath song, I might've been a good one.

I love this.

Dude, awesome riffs but this ain't Sabbath
Well it IS an instrumental and it DOES sound like Ozzy not singing.......
Sounds almost 'country girl' from mob rules.
Not sabbath. Nope. It’s probably a bunch of dudes from Vietnam
