I don't understand where the negative comments are coming from. From the quality and music it isn't great, but it's statistically not wrong, what's been said. Max's dominance era is different because he has no competition. He's even started pulling stunts at the finish line because he's bored. Max is a great and skilled driver. There's no denial of that. But the car also makes a big difference. No team is close to the consistent performance RB has rn. Mclaren sure had one win, but can they replicate that consistently this season? Every other Dominance era still had other winners during the season and close competition. It only makes sense that those eras are more entertaining to watch.
It took max running over a bollard and receiving floor damage, and a safety car at the perfect moment for mclaren to win. Even then Max was second. We are screwed
Yeah mercedes for example was dominant over the course of a season but the car had weaknesses. The current RB doesnt have any weaknesses. Only stronger and weaker strengths. It can be tuned to any racetrack characteristic to be the fastest car from high speed to high downforce to stop and go
The number of races in the championship is a key factor. Also the reliability of the cars in this era.
You could imagine how more dominant a Prost could have been if the cars were more reliable and there were that volumes of races.
Verstappen evolved a lot and is for me now a modern Prost, extremely quick, extremely reliable, excellent at preparing the car, very patient in his race craft and super consistent.
A big difference is that despite the pack being a lot closer to each other now, Verstappen just gives that extra 0.3s that leaves others without a chance. Both Mercedes' were normally 0.5s faster than the rest, but still others could win. Looking at Perez, the Red Bull doesn't have that advantage, yet somehow Verstappen does. Hamilton, Vettel, Schumacher all had teammates a lot closer to them and I don't think it's down to Perez being a worse driver, it's Verstappen and his 0.3s.
100% agree
The big difference Is in the Number of races
Im a hamilton fan and yet I 100% percent agree to this
Great video!
I just love when lewis dominated the sport for 7 years, almost no one complained but when Max did the same, people just shout bored
great video, subbed
Good video from a small channel. This man needs more subscribers
Great video! Love the explanation and the dedication, Mabye you'll get famous 1 day!
360p??? Did I just wake up in 2011??
wake up
Simple, because Max is the best to ever do it, seems quite obvious if you get the game. But it's not that strange when he has been born and raised to do nothing but race, he is unique in that aspect since i doubt anyone will ever do it like Jos has done with Max.
A lot of footage to show the obvious: this is a dominant driver, not a dominant car.
Verstappen drives good and somehow many people hate on him. I really don’t understand it! You don’t have to like him as a person, or have to be a Red Bull fan, to respect him! Separate the human from the driver!!
And an advice, please don’t make the music so loud, than we can concentrate better on the video/on what are you saying:)
He has good pace but he is horrible at battling. Has to force drivers off the track to defend
As a driver, in his past he drove really dirty, and has only now ""matured"" because he has the fastest car by a mile. So yeah, people can continue to hate on him
Because he is not Hamilton and the english speaking media took offence
music in the background makes it kinda hard to hear you when you are speaking
it really doesn’t
are you deaf?
Because there are 24 races
Verstappen's era feels different because he is not a Brit
He receives the same tabloid level of coverage by the British media as Vettel did or Alonso. There's just a lot more media coverage now and room for fans to leave their comments compared to back then.
I mean I think you're just a Lewis fan
Til that Schumacher and Vettel are Brits
@@cameronfarrell9076 i think you might want to rewrite your comment
Noby complaints that was boring@@cameronfarrell9076
in the end, the video did not explain why max is so dominance in this era. it is more like a complain, hate and moaning, at least for me. it is also not a complete explanation, and when the moment you saying that "it is the car" i knew this video just a plain complaining video just coming straight out of more like feelings rather than why exactly max is so dominance. perez seems cant do what max can do. and there was a leaked information that adrian newey lack of involvement in developing the car, max is more likely working with piere wache according to what i hear in so many sources. so there is nothing new to this video. (i just want to see nico hulkenberg on podium just once and that would be great)
Thanks for the review! You points are really good and could be a video itself, but the point of this video was more to describe why it feels so different with the win percentages and the lack of other teams being able to challenge the red bulls up front, the car is just so fast, and yes you are right, Adrian Newey did have less imput to the car, so I should have just said Red Bull. I guess the main point around the car was more about how back in the other eras I described, the other teams and drivers where able to challenge the lead team, with all the teams I listed being able to challenge. I understand your point about Red Bull be dominant for a list of reasons but I was more talking about the feeling of domination that this era has.
I mean isnt it obvious from the title of the video? It's not "Why is he so fast?", but "Why his dominance FEELS so different"
@@connorf1au I wouldn't say the car itself was more dominant than in the other era's of dominance. The reason it feels different is because Verstappen always performs at his best even when it wasn't necessary.
the glazing is insane
@@tijgertjekonijnwordopgegeten there has litterally not been possible for other teams to win other than freak incidents when Max had some issue. That never happened before. Other eras had a quick enough teammate or certain tracks where other cars could be faster. The Redbull has been fastest everywhere these regs. Add to that super reliable cars and its no chance for the rest.
Nice stolen video title
Bro tried to include NASCAR as a "race"
Max and Redbull together are simply too perfect together. Max's insane pace and the scary consistency paired with Redbulls consistency. Redbull always get a good setup for the car, the car is balanced and can perform at pretty much any track you throw at it. And their pitstops and strategy never fails either. They are simply too good everywhere, just not with the drivers🫠
