Huck is the best and you have done so great for him and you almost wouldn’t even know he was a special needs beaver now because you have done such a great job with him
A 20 kg animal using only his teeth can build a dam and change the course of a whole river. It tells a lot about the power of hard work and patience. Sorry my english, im brazilian...
I ran into a beaver walking the shore line of lake Oahe. Sat down to take a picture of it and it swam over to me and after a few minutes it walked right up and sat with me.
That was purely delightful! As someone who found Animal Wonders late in the game, it was pure joy to be able to see a full saga and growth & adjustment of an animal. You folks are phenominal. I LOVE YOU! 🐾💞🐾
Beavers are a great gift to the environment. They are also very social w/ their own kind. Mamma & Poppa teach the babies all along their lives till they know the ropes. They build homes in the little lake they created (so deer, etc have water), and then there are branches, so to speak, to other homes for smaller water beings. They take care of all nature, as I see it. & I saw it on an old VCR in a local library. I took this video home & fell smack in love w/ these precious creatures.
Seriously these videos make me really feel great. Like they are sad, but seeing the Animal Wonders crew give so much love and care towards these animals in need makes my heart just swell. Amazing work!
Great Huck montage♥️ Thank you so much for what you guys do🤗 I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened to him if you guys hadn’t given him a chance.
It is very nice to see how well you folks do your best to take care of your Huckleberry. Now I hope someone will help take care of you. You need a pair of tall rubber boots.
Aww, this video was just so cute & what an amazing progression he's had. You guys do such a wonderful job with all the animals & are so inspiring. Thank you for all the work you do ♥️🤗 Would definitely like to support (Is there any other way than Patreon for someone not based in the US? Perhaps something like being a member of the channel etc, Pls let me know)
Yeah, their front teeth are like hatchets & they can really do a number on a tree. Up here in northern MN they like to sit in the middle of the road & enjoy the heat on a sunny day. So, if you ever need to shoo one off of the road, remember those teeth & that beavers are not all sweet natured. You might get chased! 😄😄
Huckleberry is my favorite guy and is the first video I ever watched from Animal Wonders. Would love to see other compilation videos like this for other animals!
lol@ "little beaver temper tantrum" sounds just like the baby groundhogs I have every year right under my security cam. Funny to listen to, little doubt what's going on.
PSA... This Beaver was hand raised. Please don't go into the wild and get a beaver. Unless you don't like your fingers. Seriously though, I love this channel. It's what humans are suppose to be.
Can't believe people used to kill these beavers in great numbers (and still do). The whole Canadian history documentary recently shot for the anniversary of the country is centered around how awesome Canada was because there were so many beavers to kill! And they talked about it like there's nothing wrong with the mass massacre of these animals (the beaver and the buffalo)
I can’t BELIVE he was that small I watched the video that when you got the beaver I thought that beaver was a different beaver! And I thought you already had huckleberry but really that small beaver was huckleberry! ❤️
We love the Oregon Zoo beaver habitat! Unfortunately, beavers form incredibly strong bonds to their mates and family so being an outsider, Huck would be chased off and potentially seriously harmed if he were to be brought into their habitat. Also, since he has impaired vision and ataxia it takes him a few weeks or longer to get comfortable and confident in a new space to the point that he's not running into things, and uneven ground is still a challenge. We made his pool specifically with his needs in mind: smaller with short, deep steps so he could slowly and safely ease himself into the water.
Great job but don't you think he can be in a pond now. I bet he can build his own house and find his own food. He's going to live a long time maybe your goal should be a pond...you can keep an eye on him still !
its hard to believe huck used to be that small. he's such a good boy 😭
cool))
Baby beaver noises still make me melt into a puddle of awwwwwwwww
I love how much of a whiner Huck is when you move him until you give him food.

Impaired vision in his right eye? Me too, Bud. But we keep going, right Huck?

Sweet lord, baby Huckleberry was criminally adorable
I ran into a beaver walking the shore line of lake Oahe. Sat down to take a picture of it and it swam over to me and after a few minutes it walked right up and sat with me.
Good for you
That sounds so cute! Did u take a pic?

Huckleberry pulling almost the whole tree through the doggie door cracked me up!
Please give that little big-boi some hugs from Canada.

Him trying to stack those branches on his plastic igloo house was ADORABLE!!!!
I love Huck hes so cute
Wow I'm early. I love Huckleberry, he's such a cute chonky boy.
I never noticed how often Jessi says "What do you think?" I love it!!
Huckleberry is such a precious little guy. Well, not so little now, but you know what I mean.
Such a lovely animal. Thank you for caring for him.
Love that you're taking such good care of him 💗
My girl wants to go to animal wonders for her birthday! She can’t wait to go to animal wonders!😃😘🥳🛍🎈
Seriously these videos make me really feel great. Like they are sad, but seeing the Animal Wonders crew give so much love and care towards these animals in need makes my heart just swell. Amazing work!

Aww I’m so happy to know how he’s grown
Great Huck montage♥️ Thank you so much for what you guys do🤗 I don’t even want to imagine what would have happened to him if you guys hadn’t given him a chance.
The baby feeding scene was so cute. 😭
Thank you for sharing. 😊
I need one video like that of Kemosabe!
Love you guys. Thanks
Hes adorable i love him
He was so tiny!
Hope Huckleberry gets a companion to hang with. So glad he found his way to your sanctuary, and can have a safe and happy life!
When Huck begs for food, he cries like human baby that give rise maternity so we can’t help feed him 😌
It is very nice to see how well you folks do your best to take care of your Huckleberry.
Now I hope someone will help take care of you. You need a pair of tall rubber boots.
soooo cuteeee!!!!
28:42 I like how he checks to make sure it's structurally sound before moving on.
He so cute I what to jump right to my phone😍
oh my God, has he gotten big !!!!!!!
It's pretty amazing how good he is at being a beaver when he was completely raised by humans!
This super fluffy cutie nearly kills me...
What a great episode! I love seeing the progression. I can't believe is been so long already. 😊
I used to hate irritated human baby noises, but the beaver variant is definitely making it cuter XD

They have a link to their Amazon wishlist in the video description, where you can buy stuff the animals need!
@@stephanievanriet Thanks
A Special Needs Beaver is something I did not expect! Really neat Journey. Thanks
Every time he makes those sounds i get all teary eyed

He almost sounds like an actual baby. That's awesome and your enthusiasm for the animals makes it fun to watch
I love Huckleberry, what a hot chonk!
Aww! Best "Throwback Thursday" ever! Huck's come so far!
You know you're doing something right in the world when your video has 691 likes so far and not a single dislike.
I feel like saying both "Jessi" and "very excited" is a little superfluous :P
Thank you all so much for all your caring, love and hard work. Xxxx
Huckleberry is my favorite guy and is the first video I ever watched from Animal Wonders. Would love to see other compilation videos like this for other animals!

This was exactly the video i needed! I love Huckleberry, beavers are one of my favorite animals, they are just so precious!
huckleberry is such a special boy ;_______;
Have to admit I had to pause eating when the cleaning episode came up haha
Jessie looks like a badass in that leather jacket.
PSA... This Beaver was hand raised. Please don't go into the wild and get a beaver. Unless you don't like your fingers.
Seriously though, I love this channel. It's what humans are suppose to be.
This beaver is probably very lonely living alone in an enclosure without any company of his own kind.
You're my Huckleberry!
Yep
Wait doesn’t beavers poop in water so how often do you clean his pool? I was wondering.

"he's very food oriented" .....same little dude....same
I would protect Huckleberry with my life.
theres only 3 dislikes thats incredible. keep doing u
I love this beaver so much omg
I smiled the entire way through that video - thanks for all the things you do for these animals.
I thought baby beavers needed their mother’s palp to later digest wood, similarly to how Koala babies needed their mother’s palp.
I can’t BELIVE he was that small I watched the video that when you got the beaver I thought that beaver was a different beaver! And I thought you already had huckleberry but really that small beaver was huckleberry! ❤️
Huckleberry the beaver has been growing stronger and stronger each day he is a amazing unique little beaver
Huckleberry! Ive adored this guy for awhile. Was so excited to see this in my subscriptions.
You guys did such a great job with his habitat! Hucks is one lucky beaver :)
This was so good! I love the idea of these compilation videos coming out now.
He's such a darling. Out of all animals I love rodents the most. All rodents but especially social rodents. I would love to hold a baby beaver!
The devotion to this beautiful creature is magnificent.
wow-wee, he's a whopper !!!!
adding this to my happy things playlist. love seeing huck's progress in one video like this! what a sweet, smart boy he is.
They need a way bigger cage area or a lot of free outside exploring time.
We have a river behind our house and a beaver pair...
Wasn’t his name Huckleberry
Yeah wasn’t his name Huckleberry?
7:18 my dog has that same dog blanket.
What a story! Huckleberry the Beaver is an inspirational animal ambassador!
Awesome
Would he be able to thrive with other beavers in a zoo? Oregon Zoo has an amazing beaver habitat.

I should be sleeping but this is too intresting❤
So stinkin cute!
Love your dedication guys

I just rescued a parakeet..
I literally have no idea what to do with it.. Can u guide me ??
Never seen a beaver in my whole life, but damn that's a huge beaver
