@@theb3ast379 some of the Star Wars mods have some kinks, like the replacers, so I'm going to hold off on that for a bit (haven't had a problem with the armors or alien race ones though). Graphics-wise, I've only found one so far and its more of an addition. I'll have a video this weekend going over some of my favs so far.

I found that out on the Starfield Mods Reddit. Actually saw it before I started using mods so when it happened, I knew what to do. I don’t think it’s tied to a particular mod.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger just tried your fix, I’m right at the start of NG+2 and the fix restores the sound but then the game crashes as soon as I try to save or jump to New Atlantis 🤦♂️
Iam tell everyone who plays on x box series x if it keeps crashing how to fix or if it keeps loading when in creations menu Step 1 .hit the x button to bring up menu go to your game and quit out of game if your game has already crashed dont need to do step one obviously Step 2 if you already quite/ game has crashed just press the x box button to bring up the menu go to your game and press start or the options button however you refer to it . Your gonna scroll down to manage game and add ons select that option and your gonna want to delete the reserved space that will clear all the glitching amd mods not loading into or taking long on creations it will delete your list completely but atleast your not stuck loading on a screen or the game not loading in you will then want to start the game up and go into creations now you can either re download your list or start a new mods list i would suggest saving the mods after downloading a few at a time adding few to save list as this will save time if and when the game crashes from having to do is often What i do is add a few download save to Bethesda option add few more save again in case game crashes until i have completed all the mods i need once completed i save all the work again once i have everything in place i start the game the reason you want to save your list is in case game freezes or doesnt load you already have it saved to bethesda so if you cant load or having audio problems all you have to do is repeat steps 1 and 2 and delete reserved space go back to creations re download your list and remove the mod thats causing the problem from your list if its constantly crashing or having audio i found out that in this game for x box only. when you add mods to current game it either freezes or audio issues and only way of fixing is rinse and repeat the steps of what i listed but it also makes it easier to add and remove mods make sure your saving your list to the bethesda thing please it will save alot of time its tedious as hell havent to do all this just to get the game to work but iam currently playing with 50 diffrent mods on my series x unfortunately its been a hard and long process everytime i wanted to add a new mod or remove one but this has helped me alot with all the technical issues more than disabling them and renabling them especially when adding or removing it also helps me identify if i add one to know just to remove the last one installed from my saved list if its causing gameplay issues but before you can use mybmethod you have to create your own list save it and make sure its working properly/ also have multiple saves for when runing into this in case you want to add or remove mods but atleast this way also you will know what mods are good and you can just delete them after in case your game crashes or have audio issue's sorry for the long rant but hopefully this helps someone cause i know thos works i spent 3 days messIng with mods to find this secret out and it really works 😅😅 MAKE SURE YOU ONLY DELETE RESERVED SPACE NOT YOUR ACTUAL SAVED DATA IT WILL SAY RESERVE SPACE IT WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR SAVE JUST FYI BUT IT WILL CLEAR UP LOAFING ISSUS
The only thing that work for me since now is to deactivate all mods ,close the game ,open the game acrivate all mods and then it works .need to do this every time i start the game
Do you think we'll ever see a 60 frames mod like the ones for Fallout 4 and Skyrim a few years back? I'm on Series S and really wanna get back into it but 30 frames is pretty bad.
It's possible. I have seen a few performance mods already but they are more about smoothing things out by removing/lowering the quality of things. I was surprised when Bethesda added an Uncapped mode for Series X so possible they can work some more magic closer to the DLC too.
I'm the mod author for the one on Skyrim for Xbox. I never bothered because I have Series X and saw they had 60 fps in the settings. I never knew it wasnt on Series S. I'll attempt to do a mod sometime tomorrow if someone else didnt beat me to it.
Alright I released an Uncap FPS mod. Just search for "Uncap FPS for Series S" that will allow for FPS above 30. You may also need to add other performance mods to get better FPS. I released a couple more today to try to squeeze more performance out of the Series S.
What bothers me is that if you for example use the Enhanced Blood Textures you don’t get achievements. That’s just stupid because it doesn’t change or manipulate gameplay at all. Cosmetic mods should never prevent you from getting achievements.
It would be hard to differentiate that with all the mods that there are, unfortunately. I think stuff like the free Bethesda mods might get a pass if they were included in the update, you’re essentially just activating them. Kind of like how Creation Club worked.
I already have 80 mods added, almost 2GB of space used and I'm still waiting for the patch to fix the audio so I can start my new game. But apparentely it can be fixed?

Saves can take a minute sometimes to load. If you see it’s loading in the bottom right then it’s working. The reloading thing on the mod menu usually means there’s a high server load. So just retry by backing out or restarting your game.
When I’m in the creations menu to the top left it says reloading and it dosent stop reloading it’s been doing it for hours and it also wont let me start a game
Back out of the menu, give it a minute. If it's not working still then do a hard reset and try again. It's internet things - high server load, could be your internet, the servers, or your connection to them. If you can't load a game then there might be an issue with one of the mods you are using.
@@WamEvent Yea it's gotta reload before you can touch anything. This is a server thing so even if you have good internet, it doesn't really matter. Kind of like if you have Fiber and try to download a game and your Xbox is like "nah dog, you download at 200Mb max."
@@201theartist yea. It seems to only apply to some of the initial mods for the game that haven’t been updated by the authors. I haven’t had the audio glitch in a while.
@@joejackson5708 Could be just internet things then. High server load crashes you out. You can keep trying to connect. Sometimes when you load it up, it'll show 'Reloading...' for longer than usual.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger what do you mean by hard reset? Factory reset of the xbox? I have this problem as well, on Series X, and I'm stuck with the audio bug because I can't go into the creations menu to disable all. Very frustrating. I also freeze every time I sleep with autosave after sleep set to off, really makes it difficult to play with the Starvival mod set.
@@WTmac1993 you hold the Xbox button until the menu pops up and hit ‘reset.’ Or you can hold on the console until it shuts off. Freezing might be fixed too but that kind of sounds like a mod thing.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger I tried just about everything and I tried restarting but nothing worked. I just factory reset my console and am re-downloading all of my mods unfortunately.
There's a workaround to get the sound back as shown in the video and it would only go away if you keep adding/removing mods. Some mods cause it and some don't. It's being looked into by Bethesda (help.bethesda.net/#en/answer/62226). If it's bothering you that much then maybe wait a bit

Trash talking Bethesda isn’t going to fix your issue 👍 Clear your Reserved Space and do a hard reset to clear your console’s cache. The ‘Reloading’ is a server issue. Try loading a hard save rather than an auto/quicksave. If you’re crashing and still not loading then it might be an issue with the mods you had so clearing it would let you know if that’s the case.

Every time it happened I just deleted the game and downloaded it back which takes about a hour 30 minutes everytime which sucks especially when it’s your first play through and you’re really enjoying the game. Matt, Im having SO MUCH FUN. I must say, before the game came out I estimated three years feom the release of CK for the modding scene to catch up to fallout 4 and skyrim. In less than one week 8 out of 10 things I thought would drip over the years already came out. Im a very specific type of player. Im into exploration, survival, realism and brutal "all or nothing" type of encounters. Nailing the balancing of the combat, the economy, making the exploration prep and liminal experiences engaging was always going to be a challenge. I can say that ALL of these things excluding enemy AI behavior have already been addressed by the mods that are currently published.
Now there's over 500 mods in less than a week 😅 A lot of cool sim stuff. And some of that complements the gameplay options that were added last month. I've got a universe within a universe going on while continuing my unmodded playthrough with a modded one. Separate save for Star Wars, lol.

If you’re crashing from the mod menu then it could be a heavy server load. Lots of people trying to download mods at the same time causes that. Same thing happened to people after the F4 next gen update. If you’re crashing in-game with mods then it could be something you downloaded.
Hard reset. If you’re still crashing that means one of those mods might be conflicting with another. Or a mod is causing the issue. It’s early days in modding so it’s possible there are unstable mods.
Mine literally just started doing the same thing today. I’m not sure if it’s something with my load order or one of the mods conflicting, but I’ve tried to delete all the recent mods that I downloaded and I’m still having trouble I was really having a good time with Starfield modded too
I download the mod then it doesn't show up in game or under the installed tab, it only shows the Bethsada starborn suit in the installed tab. Do you know why the mods are not showing in game? I'm on xbox series X
Do you mean in-game? I found that the Bethesda stuff is what will show up in Installed. Might be the same for paid mods but I haven’t tried any yet. Whereas Creations just show in the Creations option.
I got the star wars armor mod, and all the converter mods that stem from it, for some reason it keeps putting the Armor mod above the converter mods and it breaks all the converter mods, no matter what i do to change its location it keeps putting itself above the converter mods, it doesnt do it to any other mods. Im at a total loss. Ive tried everything from redownloading the entire mod list, the star wars mods individually in just about every order.
Yea I saw people were having issues with that on the Discord. SW replacers in general. You can try the offline method in the linked Skyrim video. But outside of what I put in this one, that’s all I got. You can try looking the Starfield Mods Reddit to see if anyone has mentioned it.
Ive download like 30 mods and each time i try to load in it doesnt work and each time i try to delete one it says saved data is still being loaded and ive waited 30 minutes and it still hasn't loaded Any advice on fixing it?
If it’s the mod menu then it’s subject to internet things/server load. Back out or close your game and try again. If you’re not able to load your game after installing mods then it’s possible there’s a mod issue.
@@dasavge14 hard reset your console and try again. You can’t fix server issues, unfortunately. There’s a lot of people downloading mods so that’ll slow things down sometimes.
Im having trouble on Xbox it won't let me continue from where i left off or go to any load games. When i go to either continue or load it goes to loading screen for a bit(won't even let me in the game) and then it crashes and i get sent to dashboard every single time idk what to do ughhh...idk if it's mods or what but thus is scary...
Could be an issue with one of the mods you installed. Since its early days, it's possible that some are more unstable. I'd imagine load order would be pretty similar to Skyrim or Fallout. If you've got that right, you may need to narrow it down one by one to find the culprit. For example, the Stars Wars Melee Replacer mod had some issues and was taken down at one point.
Usually on Fallout 4 or Skyrim, when you download something, you’re subscribing to it so it stays in your library. You can try checking to make sure it’s not still Bookmarked.
I have this issue on PC with a rtx 4090 with the audio as part of this newest update - will inform if it helps me with your method. Update - tried both methods, sadly didn't work for me.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger Just to update my issue was fixed when I used Nvidia Profile Inspector to disable the "Rbar Feature" similar things have helped for games like Jedi Survivor - though I am surprised to finally have fixed my issue. Leaving this here in case some one has similar issues.
@Matt_the_TechRanger A bit disappointing then as I don't really use any mods that cheat, just purely cosmetic things. It's a massive game, and I don't have time to play an unmodded trophy hunting playthrough along with a modded 1 😐
@@phillydavison if achievements are important to you then unmodded is the way for now 🤷♂️ There might be a solution in the future for paid mods (outside of the free Bethesda ones) but Microsoft would have to vet mods to see if they are viable for achievements. Given how many there are now, I don’t see it happening. Probably not impossible but low chance in my opinion.
Dude I had no idea I could try to add my mods to my main save after a unity visit, and not riskmy main save file!! You're a hero. But now I just hope I can get this glitch fixed that freezes my game every time I sleep or try to load the creations menu.

Check more often for a used Series X. You can get them meanwhile for a decent price. Especially now when the new models launch.

I un-installed the enforcer mod and sound came back. But now my games crashing on startup on xbox s
You can try doing a hard reset. If you still can’t load up then it could be a mod you downloaded

Yeah, Creation Club is done. Everything is combined into Creations now.

That sound bug has made the game unplayable for me, it’s every 10 mins I spend more time reloading the game than playing the fucking thing

Do you mean in-game? I found that the Bethesda stuff is what will show up in Installed. Might be the same for paid mods but I haven’t tried any yet. Whereas Creations just show in the Creations option.
I got the star wars armor mod, and all the converter mods that stem from it, for some reason it keeps putting the Armor mod above the converter mods and it breaks all the converter mods, no matter what i do to change its location it keeps putting itself above the converter mods, it doesnt do it to any other mods. Im at a total loss. Ive tried everything from redownloading the entire mod list, the star wars mods individually in just about every order.
Yea I saw people were having issues with that on the Discord. SW replacers in general. You can try the offline method in the linked Skyrim video. But outside of what I put in this one, that’s all I got. You can try looking the Starfield Mods Reddit to see if anyone has mentioned it.

Ive download like 30 mods and each time i try to load in it doesnt work and each time i try to delete one it says saved data is still being loaded and ive waited 30 minutes and it still hasn't loaded
Any advice on fixing it?
If it’s the mod menu then it’s subject to internet things/server load. Back out or close your game and try again. If you’re not able to load your game after installing mods then it’s possible there’s a mod issue.

@@dasavge14 hard reset your console and try again. You can’t fix server issues, unfortunately. There’s a lot of people downloading mods so that’ll slow things down sometimes.

Im having trouble on Xbox it won't let me continue from where i left off or go to any load games. When i go to either continue or load it goes to loading screen for a bit(won't even let me in the game) and then it crashes and i get sent to dashboard every single time idk what to do ughhh...idk if it's mods or what but thus is scary...
Disable mods. Close game. Try loading again. If you keep crashing then it’s probably your mods.
Other than the sound bug I have experienced crashing on trying to start a new game with mods enabled
Could be an issue with one of the mods you installed. Since its early days, it's possible that some are more unstable. I'd imagine load order would be pretty similar to Skyrim or Fallout. If you've got that right, you may need to narrow it down one by one to find the culprit. For example, the Stars Wars Melee Replacer mod had some issues and was taken down at one point.
Is there a fix to creations I've Uninstalled still showing up in the library slider?
Usually on Fallout 4 or Skyrim, when you download something, you’re subscribing to it so it stays in your library. You can try checking to make sure it’s not still Bookmarked.
For the audio sliders are they trying them all to zero or just the master volume
All. I find it easier to do the Disable/Enable Mods method cause it's a bit tedious with the sliders 🤣
I have this issue on PC with a rtx 4090 with the audio as part of this newest update - will inform if it helps me with your method. Update - tried both methods, sadly didn't work for me.
Can’t really speak for PC. You might try checking out the Starfield Mods Reddit or the Discord for a solution.
@@Matt_the_TechRanger Just to update my issue was fixed when I used Nvidia Profile Inspector to disable the "Rbar Feature" similar things have helped for games like Jedi Survivor - though I am surprised to finally have fixed my issue. Leaving this here in case some one has similar issues.

@Matt_the_TechRanger A bit disappointing then as I don't really use any mods that cheat, just purely cosmetic things. It's a massive game, and I don't have time to play an unmodded trophy hunting playthrough along with a modded 1 😐
@@phillydavison if achievements are important to you then unmodded is the way for now 🤷♂️ There might be a solution in the future for paid mods (outside of the free Bethesda ones) but Microsoft would have to vet mods to see if they are viable for achievements. Given how many there are now, I don’t see it happening. Probably not impossible but low chance in my opinion.
Dude I had no idea I could try to add my mods to my main save after a unity visit, and not riskmy main save file!! You're a hero.
But now I just hope I can get this glitch fixed that freezes my game every time I sleep or try to load the creations menu.

You don't have to pay for mods. There's a handful if you like them and want to 🤷♂
