Ambient sounds and the backing track do wonders to mask breathlessness and off notes when you are in an arena or watching a video filmed from within the arena without the direct mic feed.

Because the ambient surrounds of the arena always makes the artist sound better. This is the direct mic feed and its always cruel in comparison. This even happens at eurovision proper.
My guess is that the raw footages doesn't fully captures her voice but the backing track. The backing track is louder than her actual singing, amd that's what we were hearing.
