I have a clicking shoulder after what I supposed was a supraspinatus tendon tear, however following this instruction I am more than positive that it is scarring on the tendon itself. Fantastic video!

Hi Ben, Thanks for the video. 2 years ago, while playing baseball, I fell on my right elbow while trying to stop a ball at the outfield. I felt a very sharp pain that traveled from the bottom of my neck (right-side of the neck) to the top of my right shoulder and went down from front of my right shoulder to just the top of my biceps. I ignored the pain for few days and went right back to lifting weights like squatting and bench pressing. I made this even worse. So I was diagnosed with a tear on supraspinatus tendon. I have seen two physical therapists and have down close to 35 sessions of therapy. The pain has reduced and I have gained about 75% of my shoulder mobility. But I still get pain while doing some squats and my shoulder is very weak as it hurts when I try to throw a baseball. This is very frustrating. What can I do?
Hi you have to try some exercises which is good for supraspinatus only. You have to stay in 90 degrees elbow on your body end go to extrarotation and come back to your body. To get some stabilisation in your shoulder.
its would be literally impossible to massage the tendon like he was doing with even a golf ball. The space where the tendon lies is very narrow, approx. 1 cm wide at best.
Sir, I have bad pain and weakness in the left sad of my delt. right where you was pushing at the start of the video. it feels like a tendon when I press on it (like a tube type feel) is the the rotator tendon? or something else. maybe the bursa? this is when my arm is at rest as well.
aesthetics williams you probably have shoulder impingement or if it bothers you so much that you can barely sleep at night it could be a rotator cuff tear which requires surgery and almost a full year of no gym ;(, its very common in bodybuilders that do behind the neck presses, behind the neck pull downs, upright rows,weighted dips and and a lot of overhead stuff. For now you should rest and stay away from any upper body work for at least a month and do some RC exercises.My doc told me to heat the shoulder with a heat pad for 10 mins and then take it off and do some RC exercises and stretches and then when im done ice the shoulder for 10 mins and he also prescribed me methacarbamol and naproxen but any anti-inflamatory drug will do.
Elemxnt45 Minor tear's do not need surgery. only full thickness tears do. also my friend had a minor tear and it healed on hits own with therapy. he was back in the gym in less then two months. I know for a fact its not a full tear (the ones that need surgery) also thank you for the help on the RC and ice with time off as well. means a lot :)

I'm also convinced that my vaccination 6 months ago was wrongly given after seeing an hospital doctor who confirmed it. The pain has been unbearable especially at night and even worse after excercise. I'm going to keep on doing this procedure on the exact place where the needle hit! Thanks again!
I was diagnosed with supraspinatus inflamation 9 months ago. Rest has got nowhere I hope it's not too late to begin this exercise. I was bench pressing when it happened. My supraspinatus burns as we speak it feels hot :(
Doctor told me that I have Supraspinatus tendonitis but based on any information anywhere it is not possible. I have pain in the back of my shoulder and my supraspinatus is fine. I fucking hate how shit doctors are in my country :(
Yves Seghin deltoid muscle is superficial to what he is applying the friction to.. So he instructed pressing deep so that the pressure affect the tendon through the layer of the deltoid
