The 1st preference for network providers should be BSNL and then Airtel. A BSNL postpaid SIM card works best, but it will be difficult to obtain, so a prepaid one is the best option. Mobile telecommunications are moderated in this area.
our bikes were provided by Royal Enfield . But Royal Enfield do you have recognised approved rental dealers if you look on their website. That’s the best place to look for verified rentals.
We had planned driving from Delhi on rented bikes. The renting place said that we would need to leave the bikes in Leh and rent locally. We changed plans and flew into Leh (and rented local bikes). When we left Leh, there really was a check of the bikes.
This is true and e-sim companys like EasySim do work worldwide with some limits - India is very strict with their cell phones and local sims are required to buy with a passport
I must admit, using of pre-used blankets is not hygiene & may spread skin diseases in contact. Hence, I strongly recommend you to buy a cotton *Single bed cover or bed sheet* & use it as an inner lining of the used blanket & wash it afterwards escaping infection problems. *Happy riding* *Keep smiling remain blessed*
Totally agree with you, next time we will be more prepared in that respect! Thanks for watching and thanks for adding in you tip/advice, mega appreciate it
@TheGirlOnABike I did some studying. 1) In Himalayan region due to global warming many glaciers are melting faster than calculated, causing a water crisis. 2) Unplanned habitation adds a huge burden upon already stressed water management system. 3) Illegal deforestation also causing landslides & land loosing it's ability to retain water. I am sure while riding you had the misfortune of witnessing all these vices yourself. Very sad. *Happy Biking* *Keep smiling remain blessed*
You are from Pakistan, she is from the UK. Video from India. The UK made Pakistan for the avoid a conflict of religions. But athletes from India also tried to seduce her.

As per your experience what are the minimum spares required to be carried when going for long ride for RE Himalayan
We pretty much carried a couple of spare levers (foot brake and gear), tubes, mixed selection of bolts, wire lock and metal putty
@TheGirlOnABike ur RE is wheel has got tubes?
Great tips...

Hello from capital of Greenland 🙂
👋 thanks for tuning in
I have seen adds for something called e-sim, it's supposed to be world wide and when you getto where youneed it, it activates automatically.
None of those work in Ladakh due to security reasons. Only local sims work there
This is true and e-sim companys like EasySim do work worldwide with some limits - India is very strict with their cell phones and local sims are required to buy with a passport
