Hi there! 👋🏻 We live on a 1-acre farm right in the middle of the busy city of Phoenix, Arizona! Our names are Kevin & DaNelle, and we moved here in 2009, when our kids Ethan & Lydia were just 6 & 4 years old 🥰 Over the years we've raised goats for milk, chickens for eggs, built a fish/swim pond, planted fruit & nut trees, and grew a large garden full of veggies. We've also raised a bunch of other animals like pigs, sheep, turkeys, geese, peacocks, and more!
Now that our kids are away at college, we have settled into doing what we love most -- which is raising & breeding goats ethically to improve genetics. But don't worry, we'll forever love our goofy pet goats like Luna the herd queen & Willow the stump lover. We also still love raising chickens for eggs, gardening, tending to the fruit & nut trees, and growing fish in the pond. We use the fresh goat's milk to make cheese, butter, yogurt -- and we use that + everything else we harvest on our little farm to make delicious meals. Having a getaway from the busy world right in our backyard brings so much joy to us each day, and we hope it brings some to you, too. 🥰

I have been enjoying everything about your life, the respectfulness of your kids, the obvious love and dedication you and Kevin have for each other, the balance you two are for each other, left brain/right brain! I’m so eager to start learning more about raising Nubian does you nannies to milking goats! We live on about 18 acres, horses, chickens give us about 12-16 eggs per day at good production times, I’ve had a garden but want to do what you’ve done for sustainable farming! I binge watch your vlogs!!!

I bought that for my hubby about 15 years and it calms him to watch! Our Grandson tore it up and I put it in a box , where it sat in the closet for 2 and 1/2 years one day a month ago I took it out repaired it and set it beside his easy chair and you would have thought I gave him a million dollars he was so thrilled!!

She’s the same age and me and has some of my dream animals. I really wish I could have goats and chickens but unfortunately my neighborhood doesn’t allow livestock. And that pond is every fish keeper’s dream! You guys are so lucky to have the life you do. I enjoy my life in the suburbs of Seattle with my six fish tanks and my adorable bunny but I hope some day I will live in a place where I can have farm animals.
